Almost right before Lisa did music for Demon Slayer, she was about to retire. The Japanese are all about perfection, and she had one little voice mess-up and was booed by assholes off stage. She was so upset and felt she should retire anyway. Then we're blessed with her lovely voice for the Demon Slayer series. Lisa is amazing and I'm so glad she kept going!
wtf ppl really be acting as monsters sometimes,,,,,like so what if she had one slip up on stage that doesnt get rid of all previous times she has been amazing on stage smh it happens to the best of the best artist to mess up live - being ill, vocal chords being oversused and just generally having an off day

@@wolfandspice I had heard about it about five years ago now. It was one of those articles that randomly popped up on your feed. It could've been all hogwash to defame her, but it seemed genuine.
@VerchielxKanda It could have also just been a mistranslation or misunderstanding due to language differences, happens all the time. Either way, glad things worked out for her.

I know she's done a few first takes but you should listen to the first take she did of Homura if you haven't already, it's absolutely incredible. You talk about the emotion in this, Homura hits hard! I love her so much!

its funny you mention LiSA should voice act, earlier on in her career she was the singing voice (not speaking voice) for a role in an anime called Angel Beats! Its about a group of kids who find themselves in the afterlife and they figure out how to pass on peacefully. She played Yui, a spunky kid who plays guitar for the afterlife school band. Shes great though, i consider her the perfect anime opener voice XD.

LiSA is amazing. Like you said, she can convey emotion like no other. So much, in fact, that she has lost control of it (but still finished the song). Try Homura or Unlasting from First Take. Both are amazing in intensity, but Homura is on another level.

LiSA's Conifer show was the best imo. It was with with her old, original band, which I thought was the best time.
LiSA is a great singer. I don't know if there's a First Take of her song “Rising Hope,” but you should listen to it. If you haven't listened to “Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai” by Yoko Hikasa, you should listen to that song too. Yoko Hikasa is also a voice actor. Just watch “Blade Dance of the Elementalers” and the English sub version of "Gate”
If you want another amazing jp artist. You should check the first take version of unravel from Tokyo Ghoul. The artist's name is TK and he has one of the most unique voices I've ever heard

So don't make it your only source for good Japanese music.
Since you already said you're doing the First Take of Homura, I won't bother suggesting it. It's another amazing performance where she puts her all into it. You can hear, see, and feel the emotion.
However, if you'd like to see a live performance of her performing Gurenge, ruclips.net/video/YKSUKWpkT64/видео.html is a pretty good video. I think there's another one that has subtitles but think it cuts off a bit at the end. Though I think it does get the whole song, just misses her walking off stage or something, it's been a while. I'm not sure where it falls in the set list for this concert, but she performs it with such energy and perfection.
Actually, I just realized you didn't specify which other First Take video of LiSA you were going to do next and I just assumed Homura because Gurenge and Homura seem to be the two that get reacted to the most, but she does have others. I'm pretty sure we all are good with anything you pick that has LiSA.
