    Hey, mapmaker here! Sorry to hear all your distressing complains about possible solutions 😢. This was an early stage of the map and if you're thinking of playing it again, make sure to reinstall it with the updated version. It fixes al lot of missing solutions and makes it actually possible to complete the map. Thanks!

      @@siddeney that's good to know, it kind of sucks the fun out of the map when you know you have a valid solution, but you don't have the "correct" valid solution, so im looking forward to the future versions were as long as something follows the rules, it'll be correct

  • @Probba
    @Probba 11 месяцев назад +131

    The main problem with this map is that it takes ideas from Taiji and tries to teach you them too quickly.
    In the original, these puzzle mechanics were slowly taught over the span of dozens of puzzles.

      and theres about a thousand solutions that should work but dont.

    • @IAmUnderscore
      @IAmUnderscore 11 месяцев назад +14

      There aren't any solutions that should work but don't, given the actual rules. It's just that some of the rules aren't communicated well enough to the player either because 1) there aren't enough "teaching" puzzles or 2) the "teaching" puzzles leave room for misunderstandings or 3) the fact that solved puzzles cannot be reset means that alternate solutions can't be tested to discern rules. @@BreadOnInternet

      Hey guys. I'm sorry to hear your distaste for this map. To answer your question, if I added more puzzles to teach the player the mechanics, it would make the map way longer than it actually is. It's already pretty long with the average play time being 3 hours and I didn't want this map to be something you had to complete in many sittings.

    • @siddeney

    Jardon not understanding that regions are defined by the shared edges hurt, but I think what would really help out with the coloured dice dot puzzles especially is having a "not" block
    In Picross/Nonograms, you can put an X into squares you know are negative space to help process the information easier. Having black glass which would fill that general concept (but isn't required to be used to solve the puzzles) would definitely help with mapping stuff out
