Fun Fact. You can place the reset level block in the tutorial and it won't delete it. So I was able to clear it with 0 tool uses.
You can also break two blocks instead of 3 at the end by mining the wall instead of the opening

use the 4 string to make wool and see if you can place the wool to where the water flows further
pretty sure its just the bucket. you need 2 blocks where sparklez used 4. instead of breaking the water block and the 3 to get to the bookshelf you just break 1 iron and the plank with the sign.
@@bastederbestehe could also use the block he broke to get the water out too, possibly. He was acting like he needs to rush to fill up the hole, when in reality, the timing doesn’t matter, and I don’t think the hole will affect it from that far away.

he also could just make a boat as its only 2 blocks to break instead of the 3 which would get the 3 stars
I realize the 2nd episode is already up, but I'm betting that you need to use that cobblestone above the water to block yourself from standing (on the last stage of this episode) and then crawl to the bookshelf.
i bet you could use the one stick and the wool to smelt the boots to get the nugget to finish a second iron ingot for a pressure plate and put it in the hole before you release the water

In the last puzzle, if you break the two stone blocks next to the torch that's next to the crafting table, that'll let you in and out of the bookshelf room, and will have cut down the cost of entry into that room from three breaks to two.
At 19:20 I was so hoping he would break the grass block to get the dirt and pot. But I guess that wouldn't have gotten the trapdoor. But great vid!

I believe a much more simple solution was break 3 pieces of dirt and make a parkour path by starting on the chest and place the dirt blocks.
Was anyone else fuming at the start when he didnt realize the wheat and suger cane didnt add to tools used also at the end with the water even if it did work thats a one way trip

In the crafting a cartographer table, would the sugar cane have broken if you placed the crafting table in that corner? They would no longer have been adjacent to a water block and that would have saved a tool use.
I believe they disabled growth ticks for sugarcane so you didn't get more unintentionally. the sugarcane will only break after the water is removed AND an update occours around it, i.e by a growth tick
doesn’t matter either way because breaking sugar cane doesn’t use durability therefore not counting as a tool use
I played the map last week! Unfortunately you have to block update the cane after placing the table, requiring another block!
But because instamining is free, you can just break the cane

During stage 3-1 I was literally like, "MAKE THE F-ING STICKS JORDAN!" 🤣🤣
The crafting table probably has to be broke and the wool can be crafted making it so you can crawl under the 2 of those, the craft table being placed towards the crawl space so you can still reach it after getting the books
at the end you could just try breaking through the wall it's 2 stone rather than 3
for when u break sugar cane u can put crafting table blocking water source that auto breaks it

The cartography table could have been done with 1 less action by using the shovel to mine a sand or grass/dirt block and placing it in the water next to the sugarcane, this would make the sugarcane spot invalid and they would break themselves, needing only one tool use not two
One less if you placed the crafting table in the water. 😉
don't know if he recognizes this at some point but the metric by which you're scored is "minimum tool durability used" and breaking blocks that "instantly break" (torches, grass, tripwire, redstone, etc) with pick/axe/shovel/hoe/sword does not use any durability

Last level: one iron ore, block of wood that supports the sign, and the chestcart contents to craft a bucket. Use the bucket to create obsidian, mine 4 and the diamond, swim into the bookshelf room and break the bookshelf. 9 broken blocks
Wood = 1
Iron = 1
Obi = 4
Diamond = 2
Bookshelf = 1
That’s 9 chief
If you can actually use bucket he can get 9 otherwise he can just break 2 blocks in the wall instead of the 3 on the floor to get to the book for a score of 10

Last level, you might be able to only break one block to get close enough to break and book then maybe fishing Rod the book to you?

Try to lower the roof on the water stream by the 1 block gap by placing a wool there
You could've gotten into the book room at the end by breaking 2 blocks
You only need to break one iron ore. It would replace the stone you broke to let out the water, then you would be able to get into the bookshelves!

What an interesting puzzle game!
The last level you did is possible in 8 uses if you swim through the crack and use wool and a chain to reach the bookshelves in crawl. Swimming through the crack is possible, but it will take many tries.
I swear some people just join his stream and not read the title or watch like 10 minutes of the stream before commenting some dumbass shit that doesn't apply at all because they didnt bother to actually look at what is going on.

a plank is 1.5 items in smelting and a stick is 2 and he doesn't know how to use a furnace and he litterally asked if wood pick breaks iron
