What about baby cardigans and bonnets and booties. How do you present it to anybody who wants to buy it off you. As you do a pattern it sort of goes up and looks small. Please advise what to do.
I did see some recipes that use kitchen ingredients such as flour or rice water but wouldn't that make the project smell over time? And grow mold? I started doing some bookmark using RUclips videos and I can see how starching them would make them better but its not something you would be washing regularly.
Thank you very much for teaching me how to do this. Is there a specific measure to the two products. You mentioned you had your container on a scale but I don’t remember hearing what the weight measurements were?
These are items you wouldn't wash, but if you had to (like a spill or something) you probably have to redo it depending on how much washing you had to do.
Thank you for the video and being so clear with your directions. I do like the idea of using glue since it is reasonable and safe. Great video!

My mother had some doilies and i remember that she used to stiffen them with a sugar solution.

Thank you Sam. This is very useful. I am going to try it.
Can you starch a crochet washcloth?and how much glu to water do you use? A great idea….
Whats the best way to stiffen crochet bags?
Does anyone know if these are wash safe? Or would I have to do this process all over again because it washes off?
Is this good for starching or stiffening crochet bowls or baskets?
Thanks!

She said a one to one ratio. I am going to try it. Good luck.
Hi, can you tell me if there is any way to remove rust spots on my projects from my pins that I used when blocking my items? Thank you.
This process is for acrylic yarn, right??
So when you wash them do you have to redo them in stiffener

I have a larger Acrylic crochet project. Will this method work for this.
It depends how large a project, but the commercial stiffener shown in the video is really pretty great stuff.
can we store it after mixing it with water
HI! I do not recommend storing it except for very brief periods, like a day or 2. After that it gets... weird.
Your heading is deceiving! It says how you starch but you're not using starch you're using glue!!
