About the guardian, a biologist named Roanoke Gaming believes that Gurdians are in fact still alive. It is argued that there is no way for the human to be alive, but he believes the corruption itself acts like a fungie in that instance to keep the person alive. It also has no control over its own body so it would pose no threat to the marker what so ever. Instead that the human is used completely as a lure through sympathy. As for the Exploder he also believes the person is alive. The reason being, it's screams to alert the person to save them. Also the cries for help as they're in pain. It is farfetched but found interesting. He also agrees very much with the necro bacteria and enzymes. He rather believes the marker focuses on converting bacteria to necrotized versions as its much easier to convert so that it can convert bodies itself, which is why it takes along time.

The snow beast isn’t a pure form. In a log it’s stated to have rudimentary gills implying that it was once aquatic, and we know Tau Valantis is a water world or was anyway. I don't think we actually know what a necromorph looks like or if a necromorph has an actual form at all. We only see human beings converted into what we refer to as a necromorph. Humans are not the only race\species in the universe this takes place in. The flood for instance. Would a converted flood display the same characteristics that we see in game? I would venture, no. The only data we have is the various forms that humans are converted into. Other life forms with different biological construction would most likely convert into an equal variation of necromorphs that exploit the advantages individual to that particular life form. The Tyranids from 40K are what gave me this idea. They assimilate the best qualities of defeated foes and adapt their soldiers on the fly. That made me think that the various platforms of the necromorph are doing a similar thing. It's not random but a result of the life form determining the most effective way to use the available biology to complete its task of amassing biomass for convergence

Yeah, but an object in motion will only continue in that one direction unless acted on by an outside force. Tentacles would be adequate to use other bodies to alter direction being traveled.
So the Marker signal latches on to a dead body and what becomes the Infector that changes others into Necromorphs rips off a Dead body and starts turning dead bodies into Necromorphs 3:15.
I heard from another video that the Infectors spore or fluid isn't strong enough to change a living body. So the Infector stabs a living victim to weaken the body then implants the spore or fluid to turn the still living human into a Necromorph killing the human in the process either the the stab. Or dying from the morphing into a Necromorph a painful looking way to die if you are already dead before your body is turned Necromorph.

They may have incentive to fight necromorphs as they pose a threat, but assimilation? Can't see that happening.
The way I have always looked at the lore of necromorphs is that the Marker creates the Recombinant Lifeform with its electromagnetic waves regardless of human action to decipher the symbols.
