About the guardian, a biologist named Roanoke Gaming believes that Gurdians are in fact still alive. It is argued that there is no way for the human to be alive, but he believes the corruption itself acts like a fungie in that instance to keep the person alive. It also has no control over its own body so it would pose no threat to the marker what so ever. Instead that the human is used completely as a lure through sympathy.
As for the Exploder he also believes the person is alive. The reason being, it's screams to alert the person to save them. Also the cries for help as they're in pain. It is farfetched but found interesting.
He also agrees very much with the necro bacteria and enzymes. He rather believes the marker focuses on converting bacteria to necrotized versions as its much easier to convert so that it can convert bodies itself, which is why it takes along time.

This would mean that the Snow Beast had to have lived before the world was flash frozen and the gills would imply it was once a creature that inhabited an ocean.

There is a study that showed bacteria in the mouth actually forms the gut fauna inside a persons gut to a degree and this somehow transmits to the gut fauna inside the womb even.
So it’s possible if you are any corruption while pregnant that it is what caused the lurkers to form inside of the women inside of of them Ishimoura ^^ this could explain how the ones in the tanks are unaffected besides a few of them- which could’ve been transplanted there or tested to see what the effects of the bacteria was, besides the possibility the swarm or an infector got into the feeding tubes.

I don't think we actually know what a necromorph looks like or if a necromorph has an actual form at all. We only see human beings converted into what we refer to as a necromorph. Humans are not the only race\species in the universe this takes place in. The flood for instance. Would a converted flood display the same characteristics that we see in game? I would venture, no. The only data we have is the various forms that humans are converted into. Other life forms with different biological construction would most likely convert into an equal variation of necromorphs that exploit the advantages individual to that particular life form. The Tyranids from 40K are what gave me this idea. They assimilate the best qualities of defeated foes and adapt their soldiers on the fly. That made me think that the various platforms of the necromorph are doing a similar thing. It's not random but a result of the life form determining the most effective way to use the available biology to complete its task of amassing biomass for convergence

If a living being is able to decode the symbols (DNA) of the Marker, they could also construct an amount of the Recombinant Lifeform themselves as well.
