Seeing this now is unreal, the time we spent away from the project really lets the work and artistry impact heavier than ever before. Your efforts to get the smoothest showcase possible goes fully noticed Johnny, I can't wait to see more and it was a great time working with everyone on this. Without the community, this scale and timeframe scope would have been impossible, so thank you to all who participated! Also, I may be a little stoked for Planco 2 :)
Thank you for your persistence with this buddy, it’s great to see it finally coming together, looks great and it’s lovely to hear the positivity coming from the build now. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the park over the next few vids. Congrats to all involved, as a community I think this is one of the best builds ever 👏
Thank you, Jonny! I have been so looking forward to seeing the start of these video presentations. They are for sure going to be the best videos I've ever seen. I really want you to know that I can understand the heartache and difficulty it has been throughout this project, particularly towards the end, but so much appreciation to you for pushing forward. Just want to give you a big hug!
IMO, this was the biggest creative collaboration of all time! And I'm so glad to have followed it all. And now also, we have the 4 new parks to look forward to as well! Such exciting times.
I can already see my PC melting trying to open this park! 😂 Amazing job to all the creators contributed to this amazing park. Best park I've seen on YT!
Just amazing. Driving the go karts through that city is mind blowing. Especially the night time experience. It's great to see Project Planco again. And i'm hyped to see the coming videos for it. 🎉❤ Cr4zy
This turned out so amazing and while the struggle was real, so worth it! Wonderful B roll & cinematics, wonderful pov of the go~karts and great song to go with it! Thanks for doing both day & night! It's amazing! Thanks for video! Thank you to everyone that made this park happen. ☮& ♥~ Smiling 🙂
Way to go Johnny! Glad to hear Project Planco is wrapped up. Huge undertaking but a perfect representation of the entirety of possibilities of PlanCo 1.
Also, I think it very likely will impact the possibilities of multiplayer - community building in Planco 2. I really hope they find some inspiration from this series.
Thank you for all the work everyone has done for this amazing project. Go karts looks awesome! And thanks @Johnny for sticking it through and putting this all together! Over and over and over again 😅 Can't wait to see the rest. Woohoo
I hope PlanCo2 adds some updates to how the go-karts work, like twin stations (seen on most big go-kart tracks at amusement parks), and two-seater karts
*Finally!* cannot wait for the park tour in another year 😂❤ All kidding aside, your efforts and persistence are amazing Johnny. Hope you haven’t broken anything out of frustration due to crashing 😂😂
Wait......does this mean there won't be anymore Park Spotlights on Planet Coaster since Planet Coaster 2 is coming out? I gotta admit I've been waiting for another Park Spotlight as I look forward to seeing what everyone makes. Project Planco was really interesting and amazing to watch over the year. I do hope there will be a few more Park Spotlights before the transition over to Planet Coaster 2
@@TheHanson parks spotlights are here to stay. Atleast until I have more planet coaster 2 parks than I can manage to make. Gotto remember it will take a while for people to actually build and submit plate coaster 2 parks. And still many amazing parks from 1 that I still want to check out!
@@Channel5Gaming fair points, I am excited to see how everyone does in the 2nd game. As this is a different version with new updates, so I'm sure it will be interesting to see what everyone does. But I will admit I was worried when I didn't see a spotlight for a while. I don't envy you when you have 2 games with separate parks you gotta handle, but knowing how far you have come, you'll do fine. Awaiting the next spotlight with excitement and wonder
@@TheHanson yeah things slowed down a bit. Working on project Planco and managing 4 new parks aimed to be completed before Planco 2. With 6 running contests. I’m here working, just not as noticeable in video format. But the videos are coming! And spotlights will return shortly after! 👍
Glad you managed to make the park work well enough to capture this. ...But hopefully that won't prevent you from learning a little lesson about over-ambition. The project kind of "locked" you and your channel for a year, and very few people on this planet can actually run this park for themselves without exploding their PC... the emotional up-and-downs this made you experience weren't good for you, the channel or the discord server as well. And really, the park doesn't feel that much more impressive that if it was 25% smaller (might be a minority opinion there, but it's clearly mine). At least, the very good "plot system" came out of this. And I hope the next contest works very well and demonstrates that comparatively smaller parks (but still fairly big in the grand scheme of things) feel basically 95% as impressive, while being much healthier for both the average man's PC and your mental health. :)
Appreciate your insight and opinions. Channel wasn't really locked up by this, I have just moved to a new area and my life changed a lot. With that I had more incentive to work on improving my new life than slamming my head against fixing crashes. So I would have slowed down the channel a bit, regardless of it being finished or incomplete. The park is insanely impressive and if it was 25% the size it just wouldn't have done it. Remember, project planco encompasses EVERYTHING that you can do inside of Planet Coaster. Every theme, every dlc, every single character. And with that, we made each of those said themes as small as possible to ensure we got all of them in. Reducing it 75% would result in most areas being 2-3 plots instead of only 12. The Goal wasn't ever to let people run this on their own computers. 99% of most people never actually download these parks, and 80% don't even own the game and instead watch through these videos. And these rides are going to be presented at 60fps, in 4k, with enhanced re-shade graphics. It's an over the top experience unlike anything ever before. You have to aim big, otherwise what's the point? :) PS: The real lesson to learn is to never ever again use mods on a big parks or projects. Things would have finished a lot smoother as a result! :(
This is wonderful! One question if I may, how do you have such a huge park and the fame rate not suffer? I’ve tried limiting entry numbers and adjusting the graphics but nothing helps. I’d love to spend more time building, your park is very inspirational. Bravo! 👏🏻🎢
I mentioned it during the lengthy introduction. I run the game at 0.25 speed using Cheat Engine. Recording the game in slow motion. This allows me to capture more of the frames between the lag. Then in post I speed it up 400% and it combines all those frames to over 60fps. Although the tricky part is recording the audio separately in real time and lining that up to match and sync to the sped up footage. It's a lot of work, but worth it for presentations like this!
@@Channel5Gaming absolutely worth it but I can see how it generated a huge amount of work for you. I just hope that the next generation of the game won’t have the same problem and we can enjoy making parks without third party software. Looking forward to its release! I hope you’ll feature some more rider views from this park, it’s amazing! 🤩

Very cool - seeing this park spotlighted will be the perfect send off for Planet Coaster 1!
I loved this go karts - it has a very Mario Kart vibe and I really admire your dedication and creativity in bringing these videos to us.

I'm way late to the game, your channel is the reason I finally took the plunge and picked up the game. Thank you for the spotlights you've done.
I plan to get planet coaster2 for a low price when It releases

Incredible. The level of dedication you and the rest of the community have proves, in my opinion, that this is the best planet coaster community.

I thought this was abandoned due to the technical difficulties
Brought back due to fighting through those difficulties! :P
hi i have a question the moving cars that can be seen at 1:33 in the video how did you actually make them able to move like that🤔🤔🤔🙂?
It's a bunch of car rides set on loop in test mode.
@@Channel5Gaming ah ok i see🙂👍🏼
@@Channel5Gaming very nice park btw it looks awsome🙂👍🏼
Just a quick question how did you do this cuz when I try to make a mega park it doesn’t work because of the storage metre thing
How did you build that!!!!

What's the name of the song that plays during the go-karts ride?
