This movie traumatised me when I was younger, especially the noises the creatures would make and this was so well done. Literally added all the well known scenes and done brilliantly, loved it. Anyone who hasn’t seen the movie would kind completely understand it and would know what is going on
Thank you so much for this spotlight Jonny! Good to see you had fun! I played a lot with perspective because, as you can imagine, the streets and other places should not look cracked and broken when entering the first scene, including hiding the tripods until I want them to be shown. So with the cracks, you don't see them until after the thunderstorm :)
War of the Worlds is one of my all time favorite movies. I remember watching it as a kid and loving it, but then having nightmares about it all the time, but then watching it again. This brought me straight into the movie. You pretty much pulled off every scene. It was amazing. Like Johnny said, the movie itself kind of dragged in some places, but this coaster pieced the story it together better than any blockbuster ever could. Not only is this the best Coaster Spotlight I've ever seen, but it's one of the bsst Short Films I've ever seen. You nailed it, buddy.
This is a beyond coaster, way better and more immersive then anything irl. They should build from it and make 30 minute versions people can watch instead of netflix.
Did yo notice he even put a little “bounce” on the track when driving over a torn part of the street. It was just like speed bump size. But, he still added this little hiccup bump, in the track. The attention to detail is amazing
Such a grand movie any way, this rollercoaster was done in the same way. The quick moves throughout the city, the countryside and even on that boat ferry. The visual EFX, special FX and the audio soundtrack. I LOVE this ride and was a better experience than the. Movie.
Just been to the War of the World immersive experience in London. Now watching this was just like being in that experience again. WOWWWW what a masterpiece
Now this is something. Loved it! Also the force fields on 11:55. *chef's kiss* Oh and did you forget to hide a certain display sequencer? :P Anyway, great stuff!
The voice definitely sounds a bit like Morgan Freeman, to be honest. Cool to hear that accomplished by double layering it. The effects at the church where very nicely timed and a very clever use of the screens and lighting! The clothes where supposed to blow towards the storm though, but that's just nitpicking. A very solid and amazing creation!
There was a version made in 1953, Johnny. It's one of my favorite SF films. Love the ships and the sound they make. One of the firing sounds, (the side weapon) was later used as the Photon Torpedo in Star Trek!
That was friggin amazing! I love that movie and like many have said, you basically hit all the main scenes and told the story incredibly well. Those tripods are scary, especially every time I hear their creepy sound effects from the film you used. While watching it, I was thinking oh I wonder if the plane crash will be shown and then bam there it was lol. I’ve watched Channel 5 for years now and this is hands down gotta be my favorite or at least in the top five from what I can remember seeing over the years. Well done!!
This was a magnificent creation! Can't think of anything else to say except...thanks Bughuul. You really captured the essence of the movie! To memory, the only other movie coaster that really pushed the limits for me was Tommy T's Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
it's gonna take me a few years to pick my jaw up off the floor.... My only criticism was that the narration was over modulated and not understandable though having seen the film i know exactly what was said.... however they still managed to capture the tone and tempo of the intro and outro.....but i feel shitty about saying anything negative at all about this stunning masterpiece.... someone just dropped a big huge mic.... the contest is over right there folks... and perhaps for years to come as the bar has been raised to a level i never thought possible with this software. The clap board action and cut in the loading station at the beginning and end was a perfect way to bring you into the story and then lead you out. BRAVO!!!!!! Like many others have stated I think I'm gonna go watch the film again right now. Anyone wanna try doing the George Pal war of the worlds now? Lol
Wow...totally nailed it! Definitely on par with Tommy T and Brad Hamilton's best work. The opening scene in Bayonne, NJ (including the iconic bridge)...St. Stephan's Church in Newark. They look like the actual locations! The flaming train was an amazing touch. I only wish that you were able to attach searchlights to the tripods for added horrific effect, and I wish I could decipher the Morgan Freeman narration. I love, love, LOVE rides like this!
I’m so glad you & everyone are blown away with this out of the world creation! While Middle Earth may have been Bughuul’s Magnum Opus - this work of art is just as impressive with the innovative ways to express movie - coaster experience as well as immersive factor. Bughuul managed to make us feel like we were in the movie - and he recreated the movie- the best parts into one seemless, perfect experience! Bravo Bugh! ☮️❤️Blessed🐝 - Gal 😃
That was one of the greatest ride creations ive ever seen, Absolutely amazing and immersive, i just have so much more to say incredible. It felt like i was watching a movie, that ground breaking scene was incredible with the effects, well done.
I was going to do a War of the Worlds mini-park... now there's no way I can match this... While I was going to focus more on the original novel and musical, this is just so good.
Do it anyway! I'd love to see something based on the original story and not the Tom Cruise version (not saying anything bad about this, which was excellent). You could take some inspiration from parts of this and add your own ideas.
You’ve already said it all. It’s like watching a cutscene or be the cameraman and fly around. You totally forget that you’re sitting in a coaster. Like a motion simulator or something. What an insane amount of work that most likely has been. I’m speechless. 🤐
This is by far and away the most AMAZING ride/movie I've ever experienced ❤ I felt like I was part of the whole experience. The effects created were so incredible 😍 Wow wow wow!!!! 👏👏👏
This is amazing just amazing sure I saw the original movie back when I was younger in 2005 and back then I was a little bit you know afraid of horror movies but looking at this they got everything down to the dot sure they had to tweak some scenes because you know copyright and in the end they did a beautiful beautiful job
At one point I actually forgot this was actually Planet Coaster until I heard your voice at the end of the ride. I have but one question about this creation: "can you romance that?"
This was actually way, WAY better than the 2005 version of War of the Worlds. I'd love to see the creator try to do one of the more "original" versions. Jeff Wayne's version, maybe?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 just one thing to point out, in the movie the burning train crossed just before the ferry. Very scary element. You know they are close, just don’t know how close. Or if they are getting closer…
im late to the party, but my jaw was dropped the entire time. I am just in aw of what they created. this is one of the most fantastic things i have ever seen on the internet. I dont even know what to say, i cannot give enough props to the creator. like, wtf dude lol
I’m not sure if I’m able to enter right now but if I can I made a spider man movie coaster that is in the blueprint if that’s what it is called, i names it “spider man ride” by miss poppy p. I’ve wrote this a couple times but it kept getting deleted so I hope you see this.
I think the reason for the echo at the beginning is because he was trying to Imitate Morgan Freeman and it just didn’t translate but this is such a great creation!

Hope you like your crown Bughy...
Amazing
Masterpiece
The KING!
Bruuuuhhh!!! Amaziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnngg You heard it! @16:37
WTH did I just watch??? This wasn't a coaster, it was a flipping masterpiece. *Wayne's world we're not worthy*
This was amazing. There should be some sort of award, like an Oscar, for something this fantastic.
War of the Worlds is one of my all time favorite movies. I remember watching it as a kid and loving it, but then having nightmares about it all the time, but then watching it again. doesnt feel like a roller coaster, feels like a movie. good work.
Everytime after the last coasters i thought no one can top this, but really, this was at least the best in a "Movie" Competition. Great Work!!!
Such a grand movie any way, this rollercoaster was done in the same way. The quick moves throughout the city, the countryside and even on that boat ferry. The visual EFX, special FX and the audio soundtrack. I LOVE this ride and was a better experience than the. Movie.
I'm a fan of both the 1977 War of the Worlds radio broadcast and the 2005 film. The creator just nailed this. It could not be better. I'm in awe.
Funny how you got the Broadcast wrong The broadcast happen on October 30, 1938 & the 1st Movie happen in 1953. The 2005 is a remake
Just been to the War of the World immersive experience in London. Now watching this was just like being in that experience again. WOWWWW what a masterpiece
Saw the work-in-progress screenshots in discord… had no idea at the time that it would turn out to be THIS EPIC! Wow
The Best Movie Coaster I‘ve ever Seen 😱⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Now this is something. Loved it!

Probably the best SBEC (story based experience coaster)
I felt like i jus watched that whole movie...bravo 💯💯💪🏾👍🏾
There was a version made in 1953, Johnny. It's one of my favorite SF films. Love the ships and the sound they make. One of the firing sounds, (the side weapon) was later used as the Photon Torpedo in Star Trek!
That was amazing, wow, what a ride, the whole concept with the bike was truly awesome, well done to the creator, brilliant....
That was incredible! I can't believe he upped it from the previous ones we've seen.. easily the best one yet! Gave me chills!
That was friggin amazing! I love that movie and like many have said, you basically hit all the main scenes and told the story incredibly well. This is the greatest coaster I've ever seen! There was so much going on and you've captured every moment of the film. Truly awesome job!
How can i like this multiple times.. this is just gobsmacking
Wow just wow, totally immersed, the soundtrack totally worked with hints of Jeff Wayne's musical clipped into it, absolutely brilliant 👏
it's gonna take me a few years to pick my jaw up off the floor.... WOOOOOOAAAAAAAAA! I can't even think right now. EPIC!!!!!!!! THIS should be in Universal Studios!!! I LOVED this abbreviated version. #1 👏👏👏
Orson Railles would be proud!
I was going to do a War of the Worlds mini-park... now there's no way I can match this... While I was going to focus more on the original novel and musical, this is just so good.

Without a doubt, one of the best things I've ever seen in Planet Coaster.
Everytime I see something this amazing, it makes want to hop on Planet Coaster and actually sink some time into it... if I had the time anyway.
You’ve already said it all.
It’s like watching a cutscene or be the cameraman and fly around.

Wow, that was better than the film!
Amazing....PURE GOLD, Im going to watch the actual movie now
With movies like Tom Cruise in them you can't lose. Five bags of popcorn and two sodas.
Mind is officially blown!
Breathtaking
Can I push the like button a million time???? 😮😮😮😮😮 Totally mesmerising! I was left in awe!!
Best coaster in the contest hands down
Amazing creation, I loved the movie and this ride nailed the whole thing. i fEeL sO sOrRy fOr tHe gUy tHaT cOMes aFtEr tHis

This was absolutely amazing! It is so good and so memorable!
This is by far and away the most AMAZING ride/movie I've ever experienced ❤ I felt like I was part of the whole experience. The effects created were so incredible 😍 Wow wow wow!!!! 👏👏👏
That was a full on experience
Really impressive!
Although it's hard to top the Aliens coaster from a few years ago as the greatest movie coaster ever made.
I have to admit, this was awesome! Great job.
Wow
Just amazing, perfection at its best right there, I was so immersed, I didn’t even realise I was on a coaster within planco, just phenomenal! 👏👏
This is amazing just amazing sure I saw the original movie back when I was younger in 2005 and back then I was a little bit you know afraid of horror movies but looking at this they got everything down to the dot sure they had to tweak some scenes because you know copyright and in the end they did a beautiful beautiful job

Best movie coaster of all time 🎉🎉
the scenes and the effects were undeniably great but I feel like we lost the "coaster" in this ride
Outstanding and Original Storytelling and Ride, amazing!!
Are we sure this was created by a human and not an alien? Holy crap this is Incredible!
Very incredibly attraction movie.
This guy knows how to direct a film project. It was intense!
In the words of Johnny five alive "Wow friggin we, Gooooood gooogley mooogley"
Absolutely incredible!!!
Amazing .... Great Freaking Work !!!
that was mind boggling good. Brilliant work. Wow .
Why can't this be a real ride!!!!!!! Thank you.
Awsome the best so far... wow
HE made a movie in planet coaster
im late to the party, but my jaw was dropped the entire time. I am just in aw of what they created. this is one of the most fantastic things i have ever seen on the internet. I dont even know what to say, i cannot give enough props to the creator. like, wtf dude lol
Im literally about to read this book for school! This gives me some information before reading it :D
Omfg this is so amazing! I love the movie so much! This is amazing!
Holy sh*t that was awesome!!
I guess thats the winner of the contest... 🏆
That Is what I call a masterpiece
I’m not sure if I’m able to enter right now but if I can I made a spider man movie coaster that is in the blueprint if that’s what it is called, i names it “spider man ride” by miss poppy p. I’ve wrote this a couple times but it kept getting deleted so I hope you see this.
Mine probably won’t win but I just did it for fun.
I love spider man I don’t have planet coaster so I’d love to see it!
@@upus1741 thanks. I hope to see it to.
This was the GOAT
I didnt realise they had added coasters to cities:skylines
Never saw these movies but this was awesome
Très bien fait le coaster
I recently designed a flyer for a war of the worlds ride that was in a fun novel I wrote, so it was really great to see this. .
Yoooo that was tight….
This is a legendary thing this has to win
Wow. All I have to say is wow 😳
Wow. Just amazing 🤩
Epic !!!
I think the reason for the echo at the beginning is because he was trying to
Imitate Morgan Freeman and it just didn’t translate but this is such a great creation!
Absolutely amazing amazing amazing amazing.. just wish I could understand the talking in beginning and end more
Wow.. amazing !!
Now i wanna watch the Movie again 😄
So if they are more of those Movie Parks... is there a List ?? I need to watch All of them.!
GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY!!
There was also a radio drama.
Not only was it amazing, it didn't have those two annoying kids. So, it was even better than the movie.
I loved the movie of War of the Worlds
Amazing! One question for anybody, how do you control the time of day to trigger while on a coaster?
Hi Rob, there is an itmen called ''day-night sequencer''. This item you can connect to your triggers and control the time of day for your ride, and make it switch between day and night while riding.
wow, ok this one wins
After watching Scary Movie 4 they really did a bad ass job parodying the movie even tho I've never seen war of the worlds but I want to
That red moss stuff is blood, not liquid blood, but think of them like webs.
Didn't even know this was possible in Planet Coaster lol
