18 yr Commercial Electrician here.....Yeah, My Brunts wore within 4 months. Confirming the notion to stay away from social media trends. Right for the price but I'll stay with my Thorogoods.

  • @TonyMontanaXx

I would love more videos of your projects at work like you used to.

  • @EunoiaAnrkyuk

Firstly, after that horror story, I'm glad to hear you're ok, still... sounded painful. Nearly lost a big toe wearing steel toe caps back in the day, not due to an accident, but due to the boot. Worn composite boots ever since and would never go back. Secondly, really appreciate your videos and your effort, your wisdom, and above all, your honesty, it's becoming increasingly difficult to trust people when it comes to such videos, over the years too many have sold out. I also admire the effort you put into engaging with and replying to the community that you have built up here, kudos... and finally a merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy new year to you sir.

Bought the Dewalt Gyro screwdriver on YOUR recommendation. Its my favorite tool in the work tool kit servicing food processing equipment! THANKS for the review and recommendation, agree 100%!!

The best and most honest reviews on you tube, hands down. Thanks for taking the time to share and keep doing what you do!

Oh geez. Your EPJ incident is exactly what happened to me when I was first starting at my job. I sprained 3 toes and broke a 4th. Watching your description brought the pain back all over again, haha. Glad you're ok my dude!

I’m a full time welder and so far, the best boots I have ever bought are from Bass Pro shop. There going on year 3 and they really don’t show much wear. Definitely a good pair 👍

I worked maintenance at an apartment complex and one of the best tools a bought was a Craftsman electric screwdriver. Mine does the swivel and it's a little cheaper then the DeWalt. It has an internal battery and there's no clutch. But like you said I never needed it. It's perfect for stuff like changing outlets or hot/cold valve cartridges for bathtubs. In one of the apartments the property manager wanted me to change every single outlet in the apartment. So having that little driver was a huge time saver. Not having to use my impact or regular drill was nice too. Having a smaller slower driver is just nice for smaller tasks. I highly recommend grabbing something similar in whatever your preferred tool brand is if they have one. The little Craftsman has served me pretty well.

Milwaukee grinder is amazing, does go through batteries but I have a lot so I don't mind. I put a Dimond cookie on mine and have been using it for 2 years now without a problem, I call the Dimond cookie the rust destroyer

  • @SomeGuysGarage

I could never go without a cordless grinder doing metal work...flap discs live on most of mine (I have a few in different sizes) as I don't do a lot of cutting with a grinder (usually my dry cut saw or portaband) but they're just so much more handy to grab for cleaning up before/after welding.

  • @cheekymonkey666

best tool in my collection is the spare bubble for my spirit level... lol

  • @profosist

Love the follow up. I appreciate when people actually use things!

  • @chancecurtiss9885

The gyro's screw driver was the biggest surprise to hear. I've often looked at them as gimmicky will try one out now. And as people that work with their hands all day know the biggest compliment you can give something. Is "if it broke tomorrow I would buy another one" thanks And merry christmas to you and your family

  • @SuperSecretSquirell

I've had the other version of the screwdriver for several years. It's awesome for tearing apart dashes.

  • @tlwagersjr

You manage to call out BS, give well informed opinions, be inclusive, and you always come across as just wanting to educate people about tools and products the average American can get good use out of. Thank you, and have a great New Year

  • @jeffclark5024

I love my little Milwaukee angle grinder. It’s handy af and mine has taken a beating. Another bonus which I didn’t think about when I bought it. When I’m using it at home and I need to do a lot of grinding. I can use it with a 6ah and do way more grinding than with my pneumatic because I don’t have a giant air compressor.

  • @jpnumbah1ify

Fellow forklift mechanic here and I love the videos and shorts I wish you worked for my company. They pay for any and every tool you want no questions asked. Boots, all clothes you name it I’ve talked to multiple mechanics in multiple companies and our perks are insane you’d love it.

  • @ImpalaSSRulz21

Cordless angle grinders are really useful for me too. I'm going to look into a cordless die grinder, that thing is neat, and that screwdriver.

  • @CelticMagic

Thanks Funk, I really enjoy your sense of humour.

  • @joshuaking34

When I picked up the 8v screwdriver, the people at Lowe's had no idea they carried it. They now have it on display and sell out of it regularly.
