I am a 77 year old female. My kids bought me a rebounder for Christmas! I also use a treadmill and occasionally use weights for exercise. Thank you for being here!! ❤
Nice basic program for seniors who have never worked with a mini trampoline. Ten minutes per day for 1 to 2 weeks is a nice start. Working up from there will increase a person's fitness level, increasing heart rate, breath and working muscles that may get a minimal amount of work on a day to day basis. I would suggest if you are the least bit unstable that you purchase a mini trampoline with a balance bar or a handle bar to help you stay stable. I have arthritic knees and often feel a little unstable so the bar whatever style you decide will help. The bar can be removed as you progress if you no longer feel the need. Health to all.

I love your classes with no music and your clear instructions with encouragement and modifications. I’m in my 60’s and I just ordered a rebounder to help strengthen my entire body, pelvic floor, lymphatic system, bones, muscles, etc. and maintain it when we travel in our RV. I’ve been searching for videos of people using rebounders in RVs and there really aren’t any. I’m grateful for this beautiful video demonstrating it being done in mother nature. I’m glad I found you. I’m 66 and I injured my leg on a treadmill which left me practically immobile for about 4 months! This workout is very low impact which is what I need!

I’m so glad I found you. I just got my trampoline and I tried someone else’s beginners video and thought I was going to die! Lol! You are wonderful! Thank you for this video! I can’t wait to do it again tomorrow and working up to other videos.
Great beginner video ! I just started rebounding and I love it . I’ve only been doing the health bounce for a week now . I bought a onetwofit rebounder to see if I liked it . I wanted to ask when you are doing the transitioning to walking are your feet supposed to stay on the mat at all times ? If so how do you get your feet to slide ? I like how you showed us the side view and I would encourage you to maybe show more when you are doing the power walk so we can see your form if at all possible . Thank you so much for your video !!!

This is perfect for me. I bought a jumpsport rebounder (which I like a lot, 5 stars) about 18 months ago. I got lazy and didn't stick with it. I am nearly 70 and don't like feeling blah. I'll attach the stability bar this weekend and make a commitment. I'll likely just bounce for awhile before I jump! Thank you.

I'm now subscribed to your channel, although I will probably be doing this video for more days.
This is perfect for me. I have problems which start behind my right knee, and then the pain radiates to the rest of my leg. I have tried various exercises to try to relieve the pain and the stiffness, but I have found that the health bounce and other gentle bouncing on my rebounder is the only thing that helps. I am looking forward to doing this video. Thanks so much for all that you do!
Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️ I’m glad you’ve found something that works. I like foam rolling and have a percussion massager that I use on my quadriceps. I find it helpful.
Thank you for a good, 1st time workout with directions. I have been doing the rebounder on my own & have worked up to 15 minutes, but then found you! I'm so grateful!
Glad this video was helpful! Congrats on working up to 15 minutes. It’s harder than it looks! Many more videos like this on my channel. You might like some of my rebounder walks.
Thanks for these great and encouraging videos 🙏 My grandkids' trampoline (with a net) is right outside my door, and is a fun place for my routines. I often do ~6 minutes of Japanese morning exercises 🌄 and /or Soaring Crane Qigong, plus videos like yours 🙏
Thanks so much for this. I got me one of these and after years of doing nothing just assumed I could jump up and down for 10 minutes like a kid. One week later my lower back is nearly better and I'm am walking normally again but with some pain. I'm going to do this program to slowly rebuild my body one step at a time as I originally planned. I've gone back to my 12 minute foundation training which is a God send for bad backs and it is on RUclips also. Gotta stop being so lazy. :)
Uh oh. Sounds like you started without watching the form tutorial. That's a common mistake. There is a proper way to hold your body so you don't end up with lower back pain. I would check out my getting started playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLLAFfYE-X47Gu5D29-qqo9mXYYYxF7dvR
I found you trying to work out how on earth this could happen to my back as I woke up with it and suspected the trampoline. I wish I had done some research and found you before starting. lol Thanks!!! @@EarthOwl
Best video I've found for senior beginners. I'll be 84 next month and just hot my rebounder. Hoping to improve my fitness level even more! Thanks for putting this video together. Iris from southeast Ga.
Great video. First time your video came across my RUclips feed. I will be rewatching this tonight and rebounding with you. Perfect beginner for us senior ladies.! 💖💖
I'm so glad I found your videos. I also am glad you don't play background music. It's reassuring to see several 70+ viewers are enjoying rebounding. I should get my rebounder tomorrow. Can't wait to get started.

Thanks for your very informative videos, It never dawned on me that i would get any benefit without my feet leaving the surface, but it works for a beginner. I was struggling due to severe emphysema to go more than 50 seconds. This way to begin gives me hope. Eventually I will be able to sustain a more traditional jump. Thank you kind lady.
Absolutely! Happy to help! There are other videos on my channel similar to this if you're looking for more. I have an entire playlist of rebounder "walk" workouts.
Welcome aboard! Great video to start with. You might also check out some of the videos in my "getting started" playlist. I have several series for beginners including Beginner's Week, Lymph Love, Progression Program and the 5 Minute Series.
Thank you for sharing these wonderful videos. I appreciate the way you keep things simple and I plan to follow your videos especially at first. My Rebounder just arrived, I'll be setting it up tomorrow.
Thanks so much for your videos! I recently learned of the many health benefits of rebounding and purchased one on-line. I am 66 and walk on the treadmill also. The first two weeks, no problems but then started experiencing low back pain, even though I returned back to only health bounce. I normally do 3-8 minutes 3 times a day. I’m quite discouraged and do not want to have to stop! Any suggestions?
Thank you for your kindness to respond! I am paying attention now more closely to my core stance. I do a few stretches to begin but do you have a video on the beginning and ending stretches? Or what do you recommend to help strengthen core and back?
I'm awaiting delivery of my rebounder and just checking out instruction videos. I like whatI see here and have subscribed. I can't wait to get started, and thankyou for not playing music 🙏🏻
Thanks for subscribing! I have a LOT of content for beginners. Definitely check out my form tutorial in the getting started playlist. I offer several beginner series as well. Enjoy your new rebounder!

Thank you kindly! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
I find it helpful.
you are a superb teacher...thank you.
I consider that the highest compliment. Thanks so much!!
HI NICKI! I’ve been watching lots of these videos to learn…I’m in a remote area in South Africa…and you’re the best! Thank you.
Thank you so much!!
Great video. And thanks for no music - and loved the sounds of nature. Plus easier to hear you.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
You are such a sweetheart! This is wonderful ❤
Thank you so much!!
My first Earth and Owl video. Got a trampoline today and I want to know how to use it before I jump on!
This is a great video to begin! You might also take a look at my "getting started" and "beginner's week" playlists at the top of my channel.
Thanks for these great and encouraging videos 🙏
My grandkids' trampoline (with a net) is right outside my door, and is a fun place for my routines.
I often do ~6 minutes of Japanese morning exercises 🌄 and /or Soaring Crane Qigong, plus videos like yours 🙏
Fabulous! Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed this as a beginner! Thank you 🌟
Thanks for watching!
i have pains & arthritis in my knees so I am glad I found this video. I will have to stay here for a while. Heather from Trinidad & Tobago. 👌
Glad you found this video! Here is another you might like for knees: ruclips.net/video/TFUYOST6BHM/видео.html
Hi Nikki I was lucky today and found you. You’re the best!
Welcome!! Thanks so much! Reach out any time with questions.
@@EarthOwl
Thank-You sooooo MUCH for this!!!! Something I can actually do!!!!
Yay! Glad it worked for you. Much more like this on my channel here: ruclips.net/channel/UCafgYoJtJLLYLQDshX3eIWw
Best video I've found for senior beginners. I'll be 84 next month and just hot my rebounder. Hoping to improve my fitness level even more! Thanks for putting this video together. Iris from southeast Ga.
Absolutely! My pleasure. Much more like it on my channel!
I like her, seen a lot of others but her vibe is so reassuring.
Thank you!
I loved ❤ your video today, first time on my rebounder. Also I live in AR. Appreciate you. I will be back!
Super! Thanks for watching. Beautiful state!
Excited to start your class, love the nature sounds too 🙏❤️
Yay! Thank you!
Ty so much for sharing your time and knowledge!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching!

This is a great video to start with! I have videos both with and without music. You might do a little looking on my channel homepage. There is a "getting started" playlist with helpful tips for new rebounders. The FAQ and form tutorial videos are very helpful. Here's the link to my channel: ruclips.net/channel/UCafgYoJtJLLYLQDshX3eIWw
Wow, my first workout with you. Thank you! Great instruction!
Fantastic! Welcome! Many more workouts like this on my channel here: ruclips.net/channel/UCafgYoJtJLLYLQDshX3eIWw
Set up my rebounder today, and this will be my first official workout on it! Looking forward to watching many more of your videos. Thank you!
Welcome aboard! Great video to start with. You might also check out some of the videos in my "getting started" playlist. I have several series for beginners including Beginner's Week, Lymph Love, Progression Program and the 5 Minute Series.
This was my first video. I just got a rebounder today. I really loved your beginner video. It was awesome. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful! Much more like it on my channel!
@@EarthOwl, I am following you - and will check out all your resources.
Thank you for sharing these wonderful videos. I appreciate the way you keep things simple and I plan to follow your videos especially at first. My Rebounder just arrived, I'll be setting it up tomorrow.
Fantastic! Thanks for joining! 🙂
You've watched the form tutorial, correct? Keeping an athletic stance with your core engaged? Doing any warm up or cool down stretches?
Thank you for your kindness to respond!
I am paying attention now more closely to my core stance. I do a few stretches to begin but do you have a video on the beginning and ending stretches? Or what do you recommend to help strengthen core and back?
Thank you so much! Although I have been doing your workouts already, this one is perfect for where I am now!
Wonderful! I really enjoyed filming this one and hope it will be helpful to many. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love your videos, thank you so much for sharing with us.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
Just ordered my rebounder, and am looking forward to starting the journey with you all!
Welcome aboard! Reach out with any questions as you begin!
I love this one especially as it is outside. Thanks for sharing. Also wondering if you're considering to do some more outdoor videos?
Where I live it's corn and soybeans as far as the eye can see! If I find a good spot, I would definitely film outside again. Thanks for the suggestion!
Beautiful backdrop!
It really is. Arkansas is such a beautiful state!
