I'm Salvador Cordova and I was in the documentary "TheRealDavidPlatt" Thank you for raising awareness of the documentary and our testimonies. Court records indicate on October 3, 2021 I was confronted by MBC armed security while I sat QUIETLY in my chair in the sanctuary during a worship service. I was then threatened with arrest and jail (in 5 counties) if I ever set foot on MBC properties. No reason was given at the time they made those threats against me, and they still haven't been forthcoming as to why they did that to me. I suspect it was the fact I made 2 youtube videos highlighting that Platt's associate Mike Kelsey said "It's difficult for me not to torch all white people, particularly white evangelicals and Christians" and then I mocked them in another video (nicknamed the "Platt Splatt") for Platt telling the congregation that MBC was prospering under Platt when in fact it took him only 4 years to wipe out half of the congregation which took 55 years to build from 25 people to 13,500 people. Clips from both the aforementioned videos were shown in the documentary. Thanks again for bringing attention to the documentary and giving us a chance to tell our story and rebuke Platt publicly according to 1 Tim 5:20 and Prov 27:5 where it says, "open rebuke is better than secret love". Paul was threatened with arrest and jail, and he appealed to Caesar. We were also threatened with arrest and jail and we appealed to Caesar, and this resulted material generated that revealed the financial and contractual records that were incriminating for David Platt & Co.

This is just one reason I as a Southern Baptist Church member would love to see leadership change at The SBC. There far more going on than we see in this clip. I am saddened deeply saddened by what is going on at the SBC level. Don't forget, they took a former Pastor/Missionary to The Supreme Court and told the court that they, The SBC entities were over Southern Baptist Churches. The court obviously knew better and made the SBC look like a laughingstock to all who knew about this case. Much of the Leadership of the SBC is in collusion with woke Demoncrats in Washington DC. I've just about had enough of them.
Things like this are part of the reason why I am no longer a Southern Baptist church member. The organization has gone way too far to the other side and is getting worse every day.
I'm thankful that the Lord brought me out of the Southern Baptist Convention. I don't look down on those who are members of a SBC church but I could not any longer.

I would suggest less hyperbolic language intended to destroy a person’s reputation. The factual complaints are legitimate. However, “money laundering” implies an illegal action that would justify criminal charges. “Money laundering” implies that the money was funneled to personal accounts for personal financial gain. No one is suggesting that the namb funneled the money from MBC back to the personal bank accounts of anyone at the church or that the money didn’t go toward actual mission causes. You can say, money was spent that was inconsistent with the constitution or the budget or without full disclosure to the church. That’s a fair claim but stop with the criminal charges against Platt. Second, did you really compare Platr sending money to the MAMB to David’s adulterous affair with Bathsheba and his murder of Uriah? Really? Sending money to the NAMB without full church approval is equated to adultery and murder? Hard to take these accusations seriously with that level of hyperbole.
The story is told because David committed adultery and murder. Thats what the story is about. To apply that parable to this situation is horrific hermeneutics and intended to equate David Platt’s behavior with King David. Is passive slander.
The level of deception and misinformation that went into the campaign to get this guy into power and make the money get to where it went is the issue. It’s disgusting and dishonest. Period.
This is horrible. How can People who call themselves believers do something so despicable to their brothers? The fact that David Platt and his cohorts have said absolutely nothing about these allegations says a lot. I say alligation pretty loosely because it’s all on video and in emails! If this is not the truth, he needs to speak up now.
The same cast of SBC characters and the same woke spirit descended upon First Baptist Church Naples (A very affluent community) in 2019. The beloved pastor was forced out right before his retirement because SBC leadership was scared he would usher in a new pastor who was not tight with SBC leadership. The subsequent woke pastor pushed on the church by SBC leadership was rejected by the local congregation. A new pastor was then brought in by the search committee but he was not tight with SBC leadership so the pastors blocked him. Multiple pastors lives totally upended and a church torn apart. All so the SBC leadership could excerpt control over a wealthy church. The chaos only ended once a true SBC man was set in place as head pastor. ruclips.net/video/3zoe6tNmRyk/видео.htmlsi=d9bk9nmJG-tW8WHC
