Many years ago when I stopped attending church because I was living in sin I would turn on the tv to watch his show “In Touch Ministries “. I was SO lost in life. I was hopeless, but on my way to work each day, In Touch came on the radio. One day, I bought a Bible and started following along. I have let Dr. Charles lead me to the cross for almost 10 years now. I will always thank and praise the Lord for him.
I have been listening to Dr Stanley pretty much daily for a year and he has blessed me with his Jesus words and reminded me I'm not alone and has helped me get thru so many burdens and given me inner peace. What a blessing he has been in my life even though he is no longer with us thanks to this media I'm able to still listen to him.

1. A strong life begins with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Your trust is in Him and you know you are safe, that you have given your life to Him. 2. A strong life is guided by the Holy Spirit. A strong person listens for the promptings of the indwelling Holy Spirit and goes to Him for decisions. 3. A strong life has this priority: spending time alone with God in prayer. Your connection point with Him is time spent in prayer. He must be first above everything else. 4. A strong life is built upon the teachings of the Word of God and their application. The sound of the Word of God is the most important sound, and we must feed upon it. 5. A strong person consistently obeys God and leaves the consequences to Him! 6. A strong person views Jesus Christ as the source of all strength. Even in impossible tasks we acknowledge Him as the strength and we can overcome. 7. A strong life is disciplined. The Godly discipline is a daily constraint in our life that sets out control, goals and direction. 8. A strong life has direction and purpose. A strong life is not just 'living out our time here'. It is producing fruit for God, every day of our lives. 9. A strong person can withstand the storms of life and learn from them. God allows the storms in our lives, in order to build Godly strength in us! Withstanding the storm involves standing firm, not quitting or seeking another 'solution' or way out. God is the way. 10. A strong life has strong faith. What builds faith? Tough times, difficult times. God has a lesson for us to learn in every burden, trial and storm we pass through. These are wonderful opportunities to learn faith. 11. A strong person has courage. Courage isn't something someone can give you- courage is something that you grow in your life by trusting God and watching Him work and answer your petitions. 12. A strong life is optimistic. We represent the Living God, and we are His messengers. Messengers of the Living God do not hang their heads or complain about their lot- they look to God Who manages their life, and they are content, at peace. 13. A strong life develops friendships with people who enrich life. People whose company brings enjoyment and laughter, love and support. 14. A strong life expresses love and care for others. A person who really loves is an encourager and makes a difference to the lives of others. 15. Strong people love, live and serve God out of their spiritual gifts. 16. A strong person is quick to forgive. Christ forgave us ALL our terrible sins, as well as all the sins we will ever do- and He holds no grudges. We are to learn from Him and forgive others as He forgives. 17. A strong life has inner peace. Despite all the pain, hardships, storms that will come our way, there is that inner peace that comes from God. For He is faithful. Remember His promises! 18. A strong life uses money wisely. A strong person isn't worried about money. Money doesn't drive them! They trust that God will provide what is needed. 19. A strong life belongs to a bible-teaching church. A church that studies the Word of God in order to worship Him in truth and be fruitful to Him. 20. A strong person works to build a strong family. They are a Godly role model to others in the household. 21. A strong life has a servant spirit. A strong life wants to help others, and gives up time for other people instead of serving self. 22. A strong life is goal oriented. We should set Godly goals for our lives, goals that seem out of our reach. Because God will help us to get there, if we are willing to walk in obedience and faith. 23. A strong life is confident. It has a self assurance based on relationship with God. God is your heavenly Father, Jesus is your Saviour, the Holy Spirit is your motivator and comforter. Why shouldn't you be confident?! 24. A strong life is fruitful. In character, conduct and conversation. 25. A strong life will impact the lives of others!

Thank you Dr Stanley for preaching the word so clearly. I had a brain injury for 20 yrs and than my Lord gave me my memory back. I had Afib and God sent me to a doctor and he told me he would have to stop my heart. I was scared and called on Jesus. Jesus immediately made my heart go back in rhythm. My doctor never saw that before because he was amazed. This doctor got one of the best surgeons to do immediate heart ablation surgery. Since than l have had a rapid heartbeat. I now work at the hospital where l received my miracle.

@Marius marius Because all of the teaching and the Words of Father God brings up another connection with the Word of God and "Hopeless Romantic" found that in this teaching that Dr. Stanley did not put confidence in man to teach the Word of God. In other words, the teachings itself reminded this person not to put confidence in mankind but into Father God. It makes perfect sense. That is what the word of God is supposed to do, it brings up a connecting scripture in the unity of His Word and reminded this person that it IS best to follow the Lord and not follow mankind. It is a reminder not to follow man when it comes to the word of God. I like it when people bring up scripture because it means that they were inspired to bring it up in light of this teaching.

I was SO lost in life. I was hopeless, but on my way to work each day, In Touch came on the radio. One day, I bought a Bible and started following along. I have let Dr. Charles lead me to the cross for almost 10 years now. I will always thank and praise the Lord for him.

I have been listening to Dr Stanley pretty much daily for a year and he has blessed me with his Jesus words and reminded me I'm not alone and has helped me get thru so many burdens and given me inner peace. What a blessing he has been in my life even though he is no longer with us thanks to this media I'm able to still listen to him.
In 1980 God touched my life and I had lost everything and had to go to work as a electrical engineer for Westinghouse electric corporation. Everyday I read the Bible and listened to Charles Stanley, still do! God saved my life from a complete mess. Now I'm at the end and the only thing that I have is Jesus. Everyone is dead and buried.

1. A strong life begins with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Your trust is in Him and you know you are safe, that you have given your life to Him.
2. A strong life is guided by the Holy Spirit. A strong person listens for the promptings of the indwelling Holy Spirit and goes to Him for decisions.
3. A strong life has this priority: spending time alone with God in prayer. Your connection point with Him is time spent in prayer. He must be first above everything else.
4. A strong life is built upon the teachings of the Word of God and their application. The sound of the Word of God is the most important sound, and we must feed upon it.
5. A strong person consistently obeys God and leaves the consequences to Him!
6. A strong person views Jesus Christ as the source of all strength. Even in impossible tasks we acknowledge Him as the strength and we can overcome.
7. A strong life is disciplined. The Godly discipline is a daily constraint in our life that sets out control, goals and direction.
8. A strong life has direction and purpose. A strong life is not just 'living out our time here'. It is producing fruit for God, every day of our lives.
9. A strong person can withstand the storms of life and learn from them. God allows the storms in our lives, in order to build Godly strength in us! Withstanding the storm involves standing firm, not quitting or seeking another 'solution' or way out. God is the way.
10. A strong life has strong faith. What builds faith? Tough times, difficult times. God has a lesson for us to learn in every burden, trial and storm we pass through. These are wonderful opportunities to learn faith.
11. A strong person has courage. Courage isn't something someone can give you- courage is something that you grow in your life by trusting God and watching Him work and answer your petitions.
12. A strong life is optimistic. We represent the Living God, and we are His messengers. Messengers of the Living God do not hang their heads or complain about their lot- they look to God Who manages their life, and they are content, at peace.
13. A strong life develops friendships with people who enrich life. People whose company brings enjoyment and laughter, love and support.
14. A strong life expresses love and care for others. A person who really loves is an encourager and makes a difference to the lives of others.
15. Strong people love, live and serve God out of their spiritual gifts.
16. A strong person is quick to forgive. Christ forgave us ALL our terrible sins, as well as all the sins we will ever do- and He holds no grudges. We are to learn from Him and forgive others as He forgives.
17. A strong life has inner peace. Despite all the pain, hardships, storms that will come our way, there is that inner peace that comes from God. For He is faithful. Remember His promises!
18. A strong life uses money wisely. A strong person isn't worried about money. Money doesn't drive them! They trust that God will provide what is needed.
19. A strong life belongs to a bible-teaching church. A church that studies the Word of God in order to worship Him in truth and be fruitful to Him.
20. A strong person works to build a strong family. They are a Godly role model to others in the household.
21. A strong life has a servant spirit. A strong life wants to help others, and gives up time for other people instead of serving self.
22. A strong life is goal oriented. We should set Godly goals for our lives, goals that seem out of our reach. Because God will help us to get there, if we are willing to walk in obedience and faith.

Thank you Dr Stanley for preaching the word so clearly. I had a brain injury for 20 yrs and than my Lord gave me my memory back. I had Afib and God sent me to a doctor and he told me he would have to stop my heart. I was scared and called on Jesus. Jesus immediately made my heart go back in rhythm. My doctor never saw that before because he was amazed. This doctor got one of the best surgeons to do immediate heart ablation surgery. Since than l have had a rapid heartbeat. I now work at the hospital where l received my miracle.

@Marius marius Because all of the teaching and the Words of Father God brings up another connection with the Word of God and "Hopeless Romantic" found that in this teaching that Dr. Stanley did not put confidence in man to teach the Word of God. In other words, the teachings itself reminded this person not to put confidence in mankind but into Father God. It makes perfect sense. That is what the word of God is supposed to do, it brings up a connecting scripture in the unity of His Word and reminded this person that it IS best to follow the Lord and not follow mankind. It is a reminder not to follow man when it comes to the word of God. I like it when people bring up scripture because it means that they were inspired to bring it up in light of this teaching.

I was in the hospital for 9 days in late 2019, watching this on TV. Cancer tumors in my spine caused paralysis from my chest down. Bed ridden, could barely move my lower half. God made time for me to pray.

Romans 16 such persons do not serve The Lord but their own appetite.

God's word speaks about foolishness, and to be and stay away from it, and speaking about the One True God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (His Name is ALWAYS capitalized by the way), there should never be any foolishness to detract from the message...Leave the little pictures for the 10 year olds. There is also NO Psalm 16:24.. Psalm 16 ends with verse 11. Best check on that.
