The software is called multiecuscan. Google that and you can also see the cables that you require. It looks like the price has shot up since I bought it a few years ago.
Hi friend, removing the batery (old one) and repleace it with a high amp one will also make te Odometer flash? blue&me isue? I have that isue on a 159 that i whant to buy....& The saler said that is from when he change the battery! None before that!? Tnx
Hi, to be honest I believe if you change some devices you need to perform a proxy alignment to stop the mileage flashing. Not sure on a battery though !
Dear trollmanrs, your video is very helpful. I would like to ask if you have disconected your Blue & Me device before running a proxy allignment via multiecuscan? As per your video it was showing as removed. I have a similar issue, I keep replacing the battery but it is getting fault feels days after replacing the battery if the car is not being used, and it started after a mecanic removed the battery and also flashing the dashboard.
Hi, Glad you like the video, my Blue & me was fauty and when they become faulty they are known to drain the battery so yes I removed mine hence the proxy allignment. So I suggest you remove the B&M unit, do a proxy allignment and that should solve your battery drain issues. Good luck
The yellow lead is an extra one specifically to communicate with certain ECU's. You can buy a set consisting of 4 or 5 leads in total. But you need the yellow one to perform this proxy-allignment.
Hi. I’ve a dead Airbag Ecu. I can get the same p/n eBay. Do you know of this needs a proxi alignment or more to program it. Maybe need clone it I read? Thanks
Hi, I'm pretty sure that when you replace a lot of parts (electrical) they will need coding to the car, so yes a proxy allignment will need doing. You just need to buy the cable set and buy the software, or find someone who has it. Good luck
@@trollmanrs thanks very much. I’m getting there. I’ve got ELM27 Bluetooth. I cannot connect via comm port. I’m guessing I need the proper cable and not the Bluetooth. People discuss using the yellow engine for cable or re programming / proxi alignment.
My Blue & Me has failed so I've removed it, and now the Convergence Telematic Node (CTM) is no longer present. It has a dash next to it instead of where yours says Removed. Proxy alignment still fails on both Airbag and CTM, so the entire Proxi doesn't get written! However, I've just read that this may be a problem with MES v5.0. I notice you have 4.7r, so I might downgrade mine and have another crack at it. EDIT: I can't downgrade since the key I bought is only for v5.0, and won't accept earlier versions! I should've bought a key for 4.7 then I could update for free if I wanted. Seems I'm being punished for getting the key for the latest version 😕
@@G14Soccer yeah I settled with v5. God some googling and found the hex code to blank the b&m. Eight months later however, I hit a pothole which wrote off the car 😔

make sure you have the correct cables, some chinese ones do not work.

If the Blue & Me unit is faulty and you leave it connected it will drain the battery.
Let me try the same in Fiat Linea 2010..
