I made popcorn garlands last night! I got a package with a huge amount of styrofoam packing peanuts. Voila! weather proof garlands to use year after year! End the strands with an ornament to keep them from sliding off.

I have seen large trees in black for Christmas ! Your not crazy… it is the new classy look ! I have used a lot of black ribbon instead of red this year and I’m loving it. The black looks so classy with the reds and deep greens ! How pretty those blocks are that spell “Merry Christmas “ and too adorable are the new snowflakes ! I need to watch Tic Tok I guess. Oh yes, I remember those trees you made out of the industrial bobbins… have not stop thinking about them. I love your pallet wall and shelves also! I loved seeing how you decorated! It's simple but sophisticated,. So pretty. And since there is no clutter it's relaxing. You have a very lovely home and I love your style. I kinda have up on decorating. My cat won't leave the tree alone. He climbs it, slaps ornaments off in slaps them behind furniture or under. I have an artificial tree but he still eats it so everyday I'm cleaning up needles. He is the worst cat!
HENCE me not putting a tree up this year for the first time in my 65 years of living ! 5 cats… big cats ! They take my bottle brush trees and relocated them….😼😼😼😼😼 Mine chew on my faux Garland and stems too ! What is it ? Yuck! Every year things are placed higher and higher out of paw reach… but they JUMP ! LOL!!!! After a couple of weeks it is not fun anymore… there is hope…MAYBE 😂😂 🌲 Merry Christmas 🌲

I have an all white cat, with one green eye and one blue eye, that looks like Glenn. They have that V under their neck, that just make them look like royalty. My cat was a stray, and now she is just a spoiled lazy kitty. Anyway, everything looks beautiful.
Not making every piece of decor a Christmas piece is my style too. When my kids were little, the more colorful the better. Now with just me and the cats (yes, I'm the old cat lady of the neighborhood) I'm happy with less. Yours are all beautiful. Decor and Glen.
My mum always put the tree up 12 days before Christmas and I do the same so yesterday the tree was up decorations around the house wreath on the door just a few more presents to get them I’m ready !! All the best to you and your husband hope you have a great Christmas 🎅 😘

I’m a retired Pastry Chef and l love to collect antiques that are related to my profession such as rolling pins, egg beaters and old spice cans. Thank you so very much for that wonderful idea! I also have a 3’ Christmas Tree decorated with all of my Copper Cookie Cutters in my dining room... I guess great minds think alike. 😂🤣😂
