The INFJ part is pretty accurate. I would just be like “ok, I messed up. There is no way I can write anything decent in this amount of time so I will just have to lose all the points for this assignment and make sure to do excellent on the remaining ones.”
I suppose that has to be a healthy exercise in letting things go and then having better luck on the next go, yes? haha

This hit right on the spot with me being infj vs my isfj sis. Cause I am really more laid back while my sis is already panicking. I need to have more time to do work. It's a kinda all or nothing vibe and if I cannot give my 100% over it I just rather not do it at all. That also goes the same in my relationships with people. That's prolly why Infjs prefer to isolate themselves more than isfj does. 👀

Controlled panicking is probably the most efficient way to do things. I used to procrastinate a bit more every time to find out how much time was needed to still be reliable.
You can say whatever you want, but in those five minutes time is getting used a lot more efficiently than in a larger timeframe.
The panic as an ISFJ. I even panicked even tho the due date is like a month from now lol

HAHHAHAHHA THIS IS SO TRUEEEEE. I’m an INFJ and I’ve pretty much done this exact thing. “Oh, looks like there’s an essay I didn’t know was due tonight. Well I know for suresies I cant finish it in a couple hours cuz I’m a really slow and perfectionistic writer. Guess I’ll just ask for an extension and do better next time. In the meanwhile, let’s write the best essay EVER.”
My college experience: Alright 100% in this class, I'm doing well. Oops missed one assignment, time to hibernate half the semester.
Last 5 weeks: Oh no! I need to salvage this semester somehow! What have I been doing?

Pretty much my short lived college experience....
lmao.. ignore, internalize anger and temporarily lament existence by turning inwardly.. but then realize it's something we don't care about like baseball and realize that the intuition overlooked it because its a non relevant factor to the ultimate goal in life and just sit n chill.
oh hm this is perhaps another glimpse at the introverted intuition/introverted thinking dynamic...🤔
@@mystamystic yep just as in there are times when I am cognizant (Ti) of a sensory (Se) need in front of me but my intuition (Ni) will override it if I'm needing to focus on something else.. even if what I'm doing is absolute nonsense and I go hungry for hours 😂😂😂😂😂

I think the only essay I completed was one about a novel about Jewish children hiding from Nazis, I didn't read it because it was so depressing and stressful to read, so I changed the story to be about Jewish children hiding from Sesame street characters, I even drew a picture with the children hiding from Elmo and Big bird.
So I finished the essay but I had to read it to the whole class, I started reading it, but then just started laughing and crying for the next 15 minutes.

Bruh that's exactly how my papers went. I never understood how we're required to write Old Testament length but for an 'elevator pitch', we have seconds - the same seconds it takes us to panic when 11:59PM is NEIGH. And I know Prof ain't up at this hour and if so, they finna finesse the grade depending on their mood and take less time grading it than it took us to panic scribble our words of wisdom, exhibite: "zozer"
Professors also hate the 11:59pm deadline - having to deal with our incoherent "zozers'" haha

Last year I had an online writing exam which I thought started at… 4pm? (I don’t remember) and I only realized that it already started when my friend texted me, asking how I did. So I opened the exam, totally freaking out, and the topic was technology WHICH WAS WAYYY TOO VAGUE but, I soldiered through, I was writing in the speed of light and I think I used the same point about technology that John Mulaney made in his Radio City comedy special on Netflix. Does that count as plagiarism? Because I used some of his jokes😂 -ISFJ
lmaoooo "writing in the speed of light" was an excellent line. Also, as long as you passed the exam I think you should be fine, unless whoever graded your papers happened to have background knowledge on John Mulaney stand up specials 😂

Wow 5 minutes eh? I have been known to nail down A grade essays with little effort or study in the past...but baseball and 5 minutes? I definitely wouldnt have even bothered. Take my lumps and be more on top of things next time (as in give my self at least 1 hour before deadline to do the job properly :)

@@mystamystic nah not really. I am just trying to practice the art of putting out a balanced comment. I realized about my self that i have these spans where i say nothing about my self..then i have moments where i say EVERYTHING about myself, and i be standing back and looking at both selves (which are really both me) and realize that i need to balance this thing out somehow. So the first step is to talk a bit less and get the point across that i want to make in a minimum amount of sentences so that i dont end up getting too deep into what I'm saying and by default not oversharing. So yeah I probably just overexplained and overshared by saying why i have been a little less overchatty. 🤷♀️oh well. Lol
