Hi Dana! For science this new year we are doing a nature study by Beautiful Feet books called Seasons Afield, and it uses that same watercolor book as part of it. We are so excited to get started on it, its such a beautiful curriculum. I love Charlotte Mason learning philosophy, and covering Character is so important in these young ages, something theyll carry with them forever. Y'all are going to have a lovely school year!

What age is the little pilgrims progress best for?
Is it decent and not too graphic or scary for extra sensitive autistic and special needs kids???
Your review of FIAR makes me want to go look at it again, lol. I keep flipping between wanting it but then thinking about the other good curriculum I've got too. There's not enough time in the day for it all, lol😄

We use FIAR for all outside of language arts and math. My little one loves it. Their Bible supplement is great too!

We are starting the Five in a Row Bible Supplement as well this year! Do you do homeschool year round? Would love to know your philosophy behind this. Also, do you prep the night before with all the materials/books needed for homeschool the next day or is it all well planned and organized so you can just hit the ground running the next day? Love all your picks! We use the Laying Down the Rails by SCM too for the last couple years. It had a lot of great insight in creating habits. Also I am going to be adding that Bible truths for toddlers to my thrift books order. ❤
Do you think the long story short devotional would be appropriate for a 6 year old? We are reading through The Ology now but I am looking for another apologetic book for next year.

Which one of the laying down the rails books do you recommend? Love all of your curriculum choices!! We are also using FIAR and I also just got the Bible supplement from Thrift Books and I also found the old holiday guide which I love! I also just bought the Little House book guide from The Masterpiece Studio and I am excited to try it!!!❤

I might use tuttle twins for history but are you planning on doing map works at all for geography?
I use just simple learning placemats for our dining room table for geography. It’s fun, because the kids like to quiz each other during meal times or will make a game of who can find what state first! ❤️
Hi:) you work from home.. and homeschool and cook and clean like the rest of us homeschool moms.. when do u find time to organize?
I try to keep things fairly minimal since we have a smaller home, so the surface organization only takes a few minutes here and there. It’s the hidden drawers that get overlooked and out of control. Haha!
