How are the enjoying it?! Part of me wonders if it will be too dull for them… I think I have a disadvantage because I have been using the good and the beautiful for the last four years and I’m desperate to make a switch! ❤
My kids love it! We actually looked at TGTB and we all (my kids included) chose to stay with this because it’s way less overwhelming, visually and time-wise, with fantastic benefits.
Thank you for this! We have the McGuffey Readers along with Ray's Arithmetic and plan to use both. Do you have a link for the small binder and flash card page protectors?
Glad to see you back! I've looked you up from time to time the last couple years and thankful to see all is well with you and your family. Prayers and blessings to you!
You should link to mom of delights blog so folks can get the resources free if they choose to print from home🥰 . Love everything she offers and happy to see how you utilize in your home! This video is so great and your child is getting such a rich education!
I am so glad you are back!! I have both the original and revised. When you teach the phonograms, do you haven them memorize and write them down or you just mention them nd move forward? 😅 Blessings
@@miluskahakkel886 Thanks for being here and the encouragement! You could write them down for the child in their “My Words” notebook and then just move on, practicing until memorized. I like this little book for that purpose. amzn.to/3Wwbj6K
@@RevivalAcresThank you for the “my word book” recommendation. Do you mind doing a video of a McGuffeys lesson? 😬 Where did you get you little binders and protectors for the cards? What size are they? Thank you and blessings! ❤❤
This has been so helpful! Thank you very much. Where can I find a binder like that for the flash cards? I use the flash cards but I think a binder would be so much easier.
Just purchased them from Amazon for my daughters. We’re turning toward homeschooling and McGuffey will make up part of our curriculum.
@@TimeOfTroubles73 love that!

Do you use the Original McGuffey Speller?
Hello! No I do not because I use dictation for spelling.
😮 😊
What age/grade do you start this?
Hi! After they’ve mastered their letter sounds and phonograms.
