Two words about Matt's piano work: Self-taught.
He did have lessons when he was younger, I think there is an old video floating around of him playing when he was younger

Absolutely not! He has done music school, though he was already rather good thanks in part to his father (and his talent of course). He started learning at 6 (wikipedia is your friend :P )

No. He tried piano lessons when he was 6, but didn't like them and quit. He kept learning on his own. That video of him playing at age 12 was from a competition he entered on his own, he wasn't in any school (and still won!). He only took some classes in spanish guitar when he was a teen.@@Nero7Spade

Matt Bellamy was already a prodigy for piano at the age of 10, he was able to play chopin but layer he was seen by a producer who put him in a classic academy of piano in uk where he as been graduated at the highest level, he can play Rakmanonov, Chopin, Berlioz like a virtuose and a professor for classic music has stidied Matt's music and found that Matt built his misic even rock like classic music with the high change we can found in one song

I was at this gig in 2007.
This dvd recording was edited and cut bits off the actual performance. The piano build up and sudden drop (when the smoke comes out) at the end was repeated 3 times.
If I had to say my favorite muse song, this would be it.
By the way, the HAARP concert DVD is from night two of a 2-night stand at Wembley Stadium...they sold out both nights in about 2 hours. Muse...the best in the world.

Well, you just got to see the best Muse performance ever. I have seen thousands of their songs played live (on YT) and this is just the best couple of minutes ever. The second best is Blackout, also played on Haarp, I wonder if that one will be requested soon...
I think I have to agree this is the best. With the added section before the piano breakdown it's just unmatched.
If you could react to Muse playing Muscle Museum at Glastonbury in 2004, that would be great! Epic performance with some cool guitar improv
