I also had the same experience with DDR3 1800mhz. Run the program HWiNFO64. There you will see Rated frequency and current frequency. I could see that they were rated at 1600mhz but running at 1800mhz, wich let me see that those modules were just reprogrammed to run at higher frequencies. CAS latencies of course were slower and didn`t meet the Kingston specifications.
I'm not sure about this. My Dell computer has two memory sticks of Hyperx Fury 8Gb 2666, part number X5H5PW-MIE. I cannot find it on any oficial site. However, on Dell Support site I can find my memory listed as 5H5PW prebuilt in my system. So... it has to be original even if I can hardly find it.

Then I found OLOy 32GB 3200MHz CL18 JEDEC rated SODIMM's and ordered those for $155 (price went up) and these seem to have the best response time of any 3200MHz JEDEC rated kit.

Funny thing is that I did not notice any performance issues until one of them broke and crashed my pc. I never thought it was a fake or counterfeit product until I requested a replacement from the manufacturer, who checked the genuinity of my ram sticks. Obviously they refused to replace the counterfeit with the original. Then I contacted the seller on eBay, who gladly sent another pair of it for free. It is just so crazy how fake products became so authentic as the original. Its sellers also give the satisfying services as the original. There is just no way to tell the difference. I could report the seller for counterfeit. but I did not. Because I was satisfied with its service.

Ok it's fake...but would you still have the ram capacity as the ram said. I mean it pretty ok ish to use fake instead of got scammed like lots of Wish products would do.
they are made by same manufacturer,... for different countries,... different price ranges,.. using micron, hynix, samsung chips,.. on different architectures,.. so prices vary,... some have overclocked/ RAMS... which clock as per your computer,.. if you want to buy some and sell as your product,.. depending on cost they will sell it to you,... with a few variations,......
I dont know but kingston have released data sheet for this memory module. And most computer shop sell this sticks. Maybe memory chips went so much cheaper for this new released memory? or i dont know
I have hyperx fury ddr4 3200mhz registered as LV32D4U2S8ME-16X but it doesn't come up on Kingston's website. It came in my Lenovo legion T5 prebuild and the ram says assembled in China looking it up in my warranty it says its made by Kingston it works good and is in 1Rx8 and runs at 3200mhz. The heatsinks are like normal hyperx fury sinks they are registered as 16gb work as 16gb the only indications are the unknown part number and the CE logo which is a mix of the european/chinese version of the dimm's jedec works. It is even registered on passmark rambenchmark its also CL16 So is my ram fake?

After a couple minutes searching for DDR3 sticks on Ebay I found a 4x4GB 1866mhz CL9 Gskill kit (total 16GB) from USA for US$46 (US$50 with taxes), almost US$20 cheaper than those fake rams from China. It will cost me more U$10 to bring to Brazil. I think its better to search for used rams in USA instead of buying those fake chinese rams.
My 2x16gb ram has sticker with layout like the real one, but no hologram and no kingston sticker in the case, and the manual is folded and laid out differently with the computer logo not printed properly along the top line of pixels. And i have the line of components with the 150 numbers, though not in the same layout as your fake ram. Everything else looks genuine though, good workmanship etc. And the model number hx432c16fb4/16-sp on the Kingston website. So i don't know. I have to wait for my motherboard to arrive before i can check the specs
My pc has stopped booting on because of a ram issue. I checked my ram sticks and they are indeed 100% fake ones, they lasted me 10 months. So less than year
you can find out if the ram is fake or not with the gold circles/ squares on the front side and back side the fakes only have 1 gold circle / square at the back none at the front or none at all, you can also check if the heat spreader is straight or slanted, also check the sticker at the back real Kingstone ram has a long and thin gray font fakes have thick and bold fonts and the color of the text is black

i bought from online platform, many people buy from it, look so legit, then after that i bought from another seller (used), the new one have xmp profile in bios instead of the first one(the first one, cl16 as advertised, but it doesn't) lol, the used one i bought alot better with cl15 instead of the fake one only have cl21 on the same frequency at 2666mhz
There are No risk. I've aswell orderd ram and my sellers are selling genuine ram for around same price so u dont need to spend around 150 - 200 on same ram
If they are reprogrammed slower modules they can give random errors and BSOD`s, but usually all memories can be slightly overclocked. Just do not overclock them more. Check the rated memory with HWiNFO64 to see if they are actually slower overclocked modules
if it work then you lucky..i my self got a fake one 4gb, and it cause short circuit in my mobo..fck seller...lucky i jz used it on my old pc..but in the money terms..if you lucky, you still spend more money on the fake ram price..the fake hyperx casing is sold everywhere in online..you can clip it in your normal non-gaming ram..

There are skeptical about shipping about this rams, just check other youtube channel about this topic, and ask them if they encounter any problem. I ask one, and he said its good and running, he made a video of seems fake, but the rams is running now for almost a year.
The "foam protection" is thermal pads. They transfer heat from the chips to the heatspreader.

If it’s from Newegg it shouldn’t be fake it’s easier to get scammed on eBay but with eBay you can get a refund no matter what

heat-spreader is purely for looks, it doesn't touch chips on fake RAM boards
I hope that you contacted the seller and/or made a report to Ebay or Paypal for buyer protection refund.

you cant always buy the heat spreader only so there's a possible chance that seller change the sticks inside and just put the case on

thats probably because your motherboard can have max speed at 2400mhz thats why its showing it

maybe you are running the memory module in auto for low end motherboards? enable xmp if your mb support Oc'ed memory
i bought a 8gb ddr4 ram hyperx it says 2666mhz but when i checked my task manager its only 1067mhz
Activate xmp and btw ddr means double data rate so what ever it says on box task manager shows half on a 2400 module it says 1200
if u r using integrated gpu its ok, that's the clock of ur gpu
