    The funny thing about prankids is, preinfo I think it could come back. Post info, fiendsmith kinda makes it gross again. People compare the fiendsmith stuff to mermaid, but its a lot more like verte now, and that really was the problem card that pushed prankids into being unfair. Rite ns kid is still really strong, because it stops ash on the big choke point of the deck, but the big problem was that their end boards were very flexible due to verte into dpe, and it made dealing with it a lot harder. Which you can do with fiendsmith now.

    Knowing Konami, they'll release the list while we're at the Houston regional. Glad we at least know it's coming

    Why ban i:p? I dont think ban generic extra deck is good now, there will always have alter options, baronne and savage for example, ban them doesn’t make SE weaker, they just use dis pater and framelord to loot hand

    • @BashtianYgo

      The issue with I:p is the accessibility that it provides to summon whatever link monster you want during your opponents turn while also giving it protection. Makes cards like Apo or S:p that much better and it takes those cards out of the conversation of "ban worthy". Also there is no other generic link 2 in the game that allows the advantage the s:p does. If anything people may switch to play Silhouette Rabbit more if i:p does get banned which is another form of Interruption, but nearly the same power level I'd say

      @@BashtianYgo flamberge is more ban worthy,imo. I’ll say that I’m fell kinda okay with 2-3 disrupt endboard with apo or s:p summon by i:p, your end board should have something to slow down opponent, right? But 2-3 disrupt with reviving 2 searcher? Not good
      And 1 more reason, im dralink player, and I felt hurt enough:))

    Forget that Flamberge Dragon will get banned at this point since it will be a selling point for the 2024 Mega-Tin. So, they don't want to kill this deck (specially the Pure version) in the TCG at all and banning Flamberge will basically do that since who in their sane judgement would be playing Snake Eyes if Flamberge is banned when you have Yubel at full power.
    Remember that Konami TCG makes the banlists not for Balancing but for Selling Product

    • @BashtianYgo
      @BashtianYgo  4 месяца назад

      Definitely true 👍🏼 tins still have A LOT of value even if Flamberge gets hit though! If they don't hit it then Wanted, Witch or Ash are gonna get the Limit treatment

    • @alpha34098
      @alpha34098 4 месяца назад

      @@BashtianYgo Well you must take into account that the only Archetype that actually became worth using in the competitive scene (which is what mostly matters in TCG since, unlike in the OCG and specially since the Anime left for Rush Duel, the Casual Crowd is almost non existent) from Age of Overlord is Snake Eyes which is why they must avoid banning Flamberge since, as I said, banning it basically cause Snake Eyes to go to competitive obscurity (which, yes, is something we might want, but Konami TCG does not at all because of all the money involved) which makes the Mega Tin less worth even getting in the Competitive Crowd. Specially when one of the most important cards from Photon Hypernova will be missing the Tin which makes the Mega Tin less worth to get already since the most Important Archetype of Photon Hypernova will likely not come either

    • @BashtianYgo

      I hear you and I see where you're coming from, I just don't know if limiting Ash/Wanted/Witch would be enough to take the deck down a notch without killing it. We can agree that Snake-Eye needs to get hit for sure and I believe the deck has been top tier long enough to where Konami may want their other products, not just the tins, sell. Also maybe help newer Archetypes gain a bit more recognition as well like White Woods deck that just came out or the Mermail deck coming out soon

    • @alpha34098
      @alpha34098 4 месяца назад

      @@BashtianYgo Just look at Master Duel and OCG where, with just the Limits of Ash and Wanted and the Semi of Bonfire, Pure Snake Eye became weakened so much that is basically a Tier 2 Deck with only Fire King (on MD) and Fiendsmith (on OCG) keeping it Meta Relevant.

      konami could have kept kitkallos until after the tins to sell more product so i don’t agree with this. flamberge will be banned

      @BashtianYgo  4 месяца назад

      Yeah bro lol don't get me wrong, if u see the videos I posted previously I definitely thought hitting Sanctifier was the solution, but I think Konami may take a page from Master Duel and ban the 2 most toxic targets for the card. That way the "lock" will be a lot easier to play around

      I'd rather they ban gimmick puppet nightmare-esque cards instead, sanctfire is literally the only monster in branded that can play around lightning storm & evenly without having to run a brick for dragoon, and its also a great monster reborn that saves branded from running 2 other bricks (ad lib & banishment)

    IP take is pure Cap and it should be Appo instead. IP into Little Knight is needed to play against your opponents interaction. If you take that away, rogue and overall grind game takes a signifigant hit. You are basically advocating for a break my board format with signifigantly less interaction and ability to grind effectively. Same thing with Shifter. Let's take away rogue's ability to even be in the room while just making consistency hits to meta. Lame.

    • @bballhunter2988
      @bballhunter2988 4 месяца назад +1

      If your rogue decks gets carried by Shifter, it doesn't deserve it. Nonsense lingering floodgate.

    • @aceofgames5584
      @aceofgames5584 4 месяца назад

      @@bballhunter2988 Rogue is not carried by shifter. The point is that if you ban counters to a meta like Snake-Eye and Fiendsmith you will live in an actual tier zero format. Nonsense point of view.

    • @zefrisk7827
      @zefrisk7827 4 месяца назад

      First of all, lingering floodgates should not be in the game, like shifter, maxx c, and even the new mulcharmys. Also, rogue can use I:p, u know who else uses I:p? THE META DECKS! Using rogue as an argument is simply wrong because rogue and meta can use the same staples (mostly)

    • @aceofgames5584
      @aceofgames5584 4 месяца назад

      @@zefrisk7827 Agree floodgates are not well designed or good for the game. But you are arguing that poorly designed archetypes should thrive and poorly designed cards should be punished. If you really think that Snake-Eye and Fiendsmith are basically tier zero because of IP you are mistaken. If you take away cards that can counter them such as Shifter and Droll then I hope you enjoy your tier zero format with your $1100 deck.
