I got mine 5 months into calisthenics training. I'd say it's mainly nutrition - eating high protein and training hard. I bike 105km a week, 25k steps plus body weight training. They come as a result of the fuel and work you put in. I don't train them specifically.
Really stupid advice given by PED users to keep john q public in the dark. I have always been lean enough to have visible abs but genetically my core muscles just didnt look full. I have had insane core/ab strength all my life. It took me 15 years of f-ing around to discover what ab workouts actually cause them to develop into fuller thicker blocky looking ab's. So I have no idea wtf any of these fitness people are smoking. Im certain theres a lot of skinny people who are wondering WTF is up with ab's...and looking to people online on PEDs who can sit around and eat fast food and maintain thick ab's year round is confusing to say the least. If no one believes me good..keep being ignorant and blind. Good luck.
he has joint hypermobility and his elbows would bend backwards a lot when doing planche, maltese etc when he started doing those moves. He said that in order to correct that he had to lock out his arms by contracting his biceps/triceps as much as possible to keep his arms straight and that made his biceps blow up.
I only get cut when I am doing lots of cardio in addition to my workout routine. If I don't do the cardio, the six pack might be visible, but I will have a flabby belly because of how my ab placement is. The bottom line is that any adult with a well-defined six pack has discipline.
So mostly genetics, plus 1. Being super active. 20.000-30.000 steps a day, when you don’t workout. 2. Dieting. Calorie deficit, clean. 3. Crazy workouts Easy 😅
front lever is an abs workout. It's a lat push down + core combined, if you watch Brandon William's video on front lever, he couldn't do it because his core was too weak. These athletes trained core while unlocking front lever progressions until they built the prerequisite strength. Did they realize they were training core? probably not.
Having good genes is a blessing coupled with clean eating and living. Born with six pack. Siblings strong af. Neice is a power lifter. Friend is 60 and has an 8 pack. But discipline is key to attaining and keeping a good physique.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cool I see that you're in my native city & country of Madrid, Spain. I hope we Spaniards treat you good & you have a great time... Hasta luego... Abrazos
So all of these guys are advanced level, so basically if you get really stronger in statics, skills, and calisthenics in general, you get a six pack for free. But in my opinion, if you train your abs or any other muscle, you can make it bigger, stronger, and more defined.
16/8 Intermittent fasting does magic...also, I think folks don't realize how effective the thenx legs workouts are effective in burning fat added with 2 or 3 days of training abs per week and you're good.
It's Cool how a lot of people train their abs and they get them at either an older age or young age, but lots of people start at a young age becuase they start and get disciplined, and it's just crazy. I Heard Chris Heria's Story on how he got his 6 pack and it's inspiring, and cool how I've heard it from him
You can't beat the positive effects of body wieght training Callacetics. It blew me away to see my nephew, maintain a six pack during his youthful years 7 Through 18 and beyond as a Gymnastics Competitor. As body weight training is the key to gymnastics. Though weight training is the key to building muscle mass. You can't beat gymnastic/Calasetics, for SuperiorToning aesthetics. As it's all about the lean muscle toning you get from body weight calacetic training. We lift for mass and move for toning. It's all about mindset and where you want to go from where you are today. Lift and move Aesthetics will follow, And of course genetics will play a huge difference in how well you will tone. Good luck Now move!
So basically… don’t worry about abs. I think you can target them specifically for extra effect, but if your training week is full already and you’re maxed out on recovery, it’s not a great use of your time to shoehorn them in. Don’t waste recovery capacity on something that will just show up if you’re lean and strong anyways
Woo! this is so encouraging! I've been training 4mo with the THENX app, and I can max 5 pullups! I eat mostly clean and my abs are showing up already 💪
@OFFIClALTHENXSTUDIOS I really like working out with my body weight, but I enjoy working with weights to . We gotta admit, they both can achive good results, people who go to the gym and people who do calisthenics
I used to go to the gym then fell off for a straight year been wanting to start my training back up and am not sure what to do first currently weighing 204lbs with the goal to create lean muscle and be around 165-170lbs
Guarantee most of these people avoided the jabs. I was forced to get three to keep my job and I've been declining ever since. Just getting tendon injuries. Weaker, more brittle tendons.
100%.. I avoided them thankfully but sorry to hear about your situation. I have many friends who are experiencing similar issues and it's definitely due to the jibby jabby no question about it. Hope things turn around for you.
Ive been doin chris heria abs routine plus skills when i have time but i think if u train abs directly they could show more than if u only did skills what do u think
Hello brother I just started calisthenics and my age is now 19 so can you guide me bro 😂 bro I recently started a calisthenics but I don't know in a week how many days should I do excercise 4 days or 5 days can you please tell me bro please reply Brother love from india ❤❤❤
Do you think abs look better if you train them specifically?
Yes because they pop out a lot more.
Yes, they pop out really good the next morning after an abs workout
Yeah
They become visible like Rema's abs

I think every muscle group should be trained, including abs and the entire core 😊
Absolutely love that video! Thanks for having me☀️
Hey Jasi How are you doing
Gym Goer to Calisthenics Athlete:
What do you do for abs?
Me: Calisthenics and squeeze my butt
😆😆
Hahaha keep that posterior pelvic tilt and you'll be good
The moral is if u want abs don't do abs workout 👍🏻
Yep just workout until ur body lose fat
If you are doing skills in calisthenics you will train them regardless
Got to eat right! That's how the abs come through
Or u can follow advice given by the legend,Salman khan itself in movie 'wanted' :- too kha Kam or toilet zyada Jaa!(eat less, and pee more!)

It's amazing seeing Chris with all the new upcoming guys!
Wow this was one of the best videos. I really liked how you asked quite a few people both male and female.
You definitely continue to create informative videos. Thanks for this one!
Training session with Leevan plz.❤
Obviously from Mike Chang's 6 pack abs shortcuts, heh
TRAINERS HATE HIM
Towel rows
😂😂😂
haha he was my childhood🤣
SADLY better advice than telling people to not train them directly.
Should've asked leevan how he got those MASSIVE biceps 😂 Great vid Chris!
Planche, constantly locked out arms
@@danielalexa3554 he doesn't lock out his arms completely because of his elbow hyperextension, he explained it in his IG
If you will get the Pelican Planche push ups your biceps will turn into quads
Maltese and Pelican

11:26 This guy really inspired me. He explained it so simply
1:57 🤣 love him
2:25 dude I love watching everyones face react to the statics
I have abs. They're just shy.

These guys have perfect skin 😮
This dudes are crazy. They are all so light but look really big because of their muscle mass🖤
Really enjoyed this video!

Would be dope to see Chris build his own calisthenic school and teain the next generation ❤❤❤
Great topic. I wonder how much the age you are when you start training plays a role in how fast you develop.
Excellent, very helpful
Best and greatest to have six pack abs

We want collaboration with Daniel lizans this is gonna be fire 🔥
They All Look Great👍
Genetics, Hitting protein intake, and calorie deficit have a big role getting abs. You need also to burn more calories
Very nice to share from real athletes
i wanna see more of Leevan please he is nice and is a monster in calisthenics. Maybe do a video about his thumb strenght
Tuning in early

@OFFIClALTHENXSTUDIOS is this for real!?! 🤩
I am currently following the 90 Degree hold workout, but I'm not sure how many times a week I am supposed to do it. Love your videos btw
We need same interview with people who interested in weightlifting.
@OFFIClALTHENXSTUDIOS I really like working out with my body weight, but I enjoy working with weights to . We gotta admit, they both can achive good results, people who go to the gym and people who do calisthenics

As a guy who’s broken his right thumb 4 times (I’m a fighter), I shuddered seeing the thumb planche lol
My cardio is going smooth, but nutrition is my major issue
Thank u ❤

Yo how would one apply to be a THENX athlete? Content with college students would be sick… especially at Ohio State 👀
3:05 simplify ,hard work
I'm watching while eating a triple baconator 😅
A lot of calisthenics movements train your core already. Like front levers
🙏🏻😎 Grande Chris‼️
Chris is sooooo tall next to these athletes
Nice Video 👍

Ive been doin chris heria abs routine plus skills when i have time but i think if u train abs directly they could show more than if u only did skills what do u think

Hello brother I just started calisthenics and my age is now 19 so can you guide me bro 😂 bro I recently started a calisthenics but I don't know in a week how many days should I do excercise 4 days or 5 days can you please tell me bro please reply Brother love from india ❤❤❤
Yay
that blond girl is amazing! 😲 WOW!
I'm confused how they say stuff like, "Nope I don't do ab workouts... just planches and stuff"... as if thats not training the abs
Chris: How did you get your 6 pack??
them: genetics and one day just appear from no where :V
food and full calisthenics give you abs...
An average india has visible abs and good physique
Go for it Chris! First comment today bro!!!
I don't get it, if you don't train your abs specifically EVER, how do you unlock front lever?😂 please share 😅
train inverted row, train hanging, train front lever starting from negative. you can also use bands to help you hold the front lever position.
11:25 😍😍😍❤
Daylon has the best physique
All these dudes are like 5’5. Genetics are a huge factor
Not trying to sound rude, but does the guy at 9:16 have a torn bicep?
How did Chris only interview people who were a lot shorter than him lmao
The second girl's arms are so jacked Jesus Christ
I'm got get them from you
Where is this in Madrid?
