Some say they didn't saw Banner's intelligence in Norton's portrayal. Just look at these deleted scenes, and you will change your mind
This could've been one of the best movies of the MCU if they just kept these scenes in. This probably would've been one of the best movies of 2008.

@@tjsherpayeah I'm almost halfway through this and these scenes are all really good so far, so far I like them better than the Iron Man 1 deleted scenes (which I just saw for the first time right before watching these ones)
Norton was the best Hulk. After hearing that he wanted a serious 2 part movie makes me sad that we missed that opportunity
This was the Last time I saw incredible Hulk in live action.

Avengers 1 despite the recasting still made an effort to be a followup to TIH. After that though it was all downhill.
@@yurialexsanderscheffer5162 Avengers 1 was just a copycat at it's finest, a dumb beast. The feel of intellect that incredible Hulk showed when he was in his hulk form, was totally absent. And honestly Avengers hulk looks like a child friendly version of incredible Hulk . The feraliity and fatality of the devastation was totally absent . At the end of norton hulk it was shown that he is now gaining control over the alter ego. And here he comes in Avengers as a full charged dumb beast with a stupid smirk.
This was and is the real Deal.. marvel f*cked it up.

I had only seen Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner until yesterday when I saw The Incredible Hulk and IMMEDIATLY Edward Norton is my favourite Banner

Tbh I really like Edward Norton's take on the Hulk's character. He really seems to care alot about the source material and I can't blame him for that.
Too bad Marvel fired him, such a missed opportunity.

What a loss...add these 45 minutes and remove some of the unnecessary FLUFF in the theatrical release...and you have the definitive Hulk film...a opportunity lost
I think the only reason people had issues with this movie is because it was too soon to remake, it had only been 5 years since the last Hulk movie and people really wanted a sequel instead of a remake

I remember there's someone Who did adding all of this scene into the movie. I forgot what that version called but they said its from the editor of this film himself. I did download it but never watch it

They should have kept this version of the Hulk. This is the true Hulk to me.
Scenes they should have kept- second scene with him walking around the favela, the fourth scene- them having dinner/ her showing him the flower, thr fifth scene- a shortened interaction between Bruce and Betty’s love interest
It’s a crime that Samson got cut. Ty Burrell is a great actor and he did good in this movie.

Why did he climb a mountain in blistering cold weather just to shoot himself? He could've done that at any deserted place
Here's why, he knew that the Hulk would come out and stop him from killing himself and also he wanted to be far far away from populated areas because he knew that if he hulked out the Hulk would make it to a city in no time. Hulk can leap to enormous heights and cover huge distances in the process.

They should have Kept Eric Bana as DR Banner nothing against Edward Norton or anything he was decent in the Role but Eric was great and his True Brudiness is what brought out Dr Banner humbling Laid back disposition! Liv Tyler was better as Betty Ross she had a more Caringness graciousness to her Which Jennifer Connelly's Version of Betty Ross was somewhat Wooden to a degree?! If anything Betty should have Reservced in the Avengers future films then again i never was that Big of a fan of Mark Ruffalos Version of Dr Banner! And the Romance between him and Black Widow in the avengers films didn't make any Sense in that Regard anyways excellent deleted Scenes from Edward Norton portrayed him this Hulk film was passably decent to say at the least!
I liked Eric Bana to but Bruce Banner was not meant to be some broody hunk. He was meant to be a scrawny nerd liked Edward Norton that always falls short. Thats where The Hulk persona comes from. It's the years of failure, anger, hatred, rage bottled within waiting to be released. The Hulk is who Banner has always been and the mask has always been banner not Hulk.

Edward Norton went out of his way to train with _Rickson Gracie_ to perfect his breathing technique to be the best Bruce banner and they really replaced him with the hack that defended a pedo
Mark Ruffalo has been praised for his performance in the MCU, so I can't agree with the hack part. But Norton seems awesome overall. And what pedo did Ruffalo defend?
