12 Things Your Stool Says About Your Health

How to understand if you're really healthy? Here's the easiest way to do it: check your stool colors and what learn they mean. As gross as it may sound, the color and shape of your stool can reveal a lot about your health. Any changes you might notice can be a sign of a serious disease.

SUMMARY
If you see separate solid lumps reminiscent of nuts or goat feces in your toilet bowl, it is likely a sign of severe constipation. This type of stool means your body lacks fiber.
Sausage-shaped, large, and lumpy stool speaks of constipation.
This type of stool is also caused by a lack of fiber.
If the cracked sausage-shaped stool is what you usually have, there are no reasons to worry. That’s a normal stool. You’re doing just fine!
If you stand with those whose feces are soft, sausage-shaped, and smooth - congratulations! Your stool is as perfect as stool can be!
Soft lumps with clear edges are a sign of light diarrhea.
It could also mean that you are experiencing irritable bowel syndrome.
If your stool comes in fluffy pieces with ragged edges, it looks like you are having mild diarrhea. Remember how we told you to have more fiber? Well, in this case, it is just the opposite. Maybe there’s too much fiber in your diet.
Liquid without solid pieces type of feces is what no one likes to see. It speaks of severe diarrhea.

this is really informative, I wish there was a chat room where people can talk about their own health problems. Sometimes we have weird symptoms that your doctor don't know or their just not interested in really helping you. I have what I think it's a nerve problem, it's on my left arm and left leg. It's a feeling of desperation so bad that sometimes I feel like cuting off my arm and leg!. In fact, when I punch both leg and arm I feel relief for a few seconds. It's like pain makes it feel better for a very short time. Doctors have told me to see a psychiatrist.Anybody out there with similar problem.

When I was way younger at the age of 11 I literally almost died from constipation. Its no laughing matter because when you get that blocked up its really painful. It was over a course of 2 weeks and several hospital visits that I had just gotten done with one of those visits and I had to go! So into the hospital bathroom I went and unleashed a massive yellow cow patty does anyone know what that may have been caused by? Still a mystert

I have inhereted diabetes and heart disease from my family so I started a strict vegan and gluten free diet and since then my digestive problems improved and my physical health has improved also. My bowl movements have since returned to normal so if anyone else has diabetes or heart disease in their family then I highly recommend vegan and gluten free food along with cardio workouts and avoid all soda pop drinks, only drink fresh water (tap) and fresh fruit juice. Stay hydrated and active is a must.
