- Hay días en la vida en los que todo tiene sentido y el mundo está en armonía. Esta función de 2007 en BBC Proms, con mi querida Sinfónica Simón Bolívar Orquesta , fue uno de esos días y lo comparto agradecido en este clip y entrevista.
A mis muy queridos amigos y familia de El Sistema, y a todos quienes hacen música y le dan belleza al mundo, les doy mis gracias y respeto profundos - ustedes son mi constante inspiración.

There are some days in our lives when everything just makes sense, and it all comes together in perfect harmony. This 2007 performance at the BBC Proms, with my beloved Sinfónica Simón Bolívar Orchestra, was one of those days, and I share with gratitude this clip and interview.
To my dearest friends and family of El Sistema, and to all those around the world who make music and bring beauty to the world, I give you my deepest thanks and respect - you are my constant inspiration.

I’m not Venezuelan, and every time I see this I feel a swell of immense pride for the entire country! Well done, well done Gustavo Dudamel and the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra. You represented your country brilliantly!

Una vez vi en el metro de Madrid a una chica y dos chicos, 3 violinistas que fueron parte de la orquesta sinfónica de Venezuela y tocaron allí la canción de Luis Silva de Venezuela, fue increíble, todos los del metro se quitaron los auriculares y dejaron de ver el teléfono, incluso los niños, tocaron demasiado hermoso, cuando estás frente a esa melodía y la ves en vivo y directo te atrapa y no puedes dejar de ver y escuchar cómo tocan con perfecta sincronía, a mucha gente se le pusieron los vellos de punta y aplaudieron y les dieron muchas felicitaciones, es un orgullo que haya mucho talento en Venezuela ❤❤❤
The best parts of this are they gave an amazing performance, but they look like they are having a blast! Music, particularly Classical, can be serious or depressive. This was a joy!~

This man channels the composer; no doubt in my mind. He conducts with great authority. I love his eagerness and dedication to educate and nurture young peoples love of music. He is.a national treasure.

Es interesante lo que Latinoamérica hizo en los BBC Proms...
Primero: Con la OSJSB con Dudamel al mando y fue como el preámbulo de la fiesta de los Proms y como dijo la presentadora; fue la mejor presentación de una orquesta de todos los tiempos y, como Venezolano me siento orgulloso de haber presenciado éste evento... Ese "Mambo" no se olvida más!!
Y el Prom dónde participó Juan Diego Florez, cantando "Rule Britannia" con la vestimenta de los incas, y cantando una nota más alta de lo habitual (muchos la cantan en Ab, A, y Bb, él la cantó en B mayor) y fue la más memorable de todos los Proms...
Latinoamérica tiene cosas para exportar y que no sabemos administrar...
Maestro Dudamel, no me canso de oír ver y sentir lo extraordinario de su dirección, VENEZOLANO llevando en alto la verdadera PATRIA DE SIMÓN BOLÍVAR.......na'guara!!!!!

Qué bello es. Música con sentimiento y alegría. Acabo de ver el concierto en Los Angeles con Flores se siente su inmensa modestia cuando se retira siempre a un lado de la orquesta mientras deja todo el aplauso al tenor. Gran complicidad y alegría en esa presentación también, pero este concierto con los jóvenes, sus jóvenes, es fantástico, lleno de amor.
