Error report: The merc and Andromeda CCU does not stack. The Hercules Series only has two size 5 weapons not three.
The bucc not getting the pirate skin is a crime
the only actual pirate ship didn't get one .. i would also argue that a ship like the A1 could use a pirate skin instead of only the silver one .. but to be honest .. i think these new skins are all not that impressive .... all grey and silver + dark red .. i would expect the ships to be black + white skull (or red/black like the caterpillar) .. not grey+greyish skull .. but what do i know ^^.

I know some people say that LTI is not needed, but personally I do not own a ship without LTI. To charge what they are for these packs and 6 months insurance is insane. Great coverage, and I agree with your costing mentality.
The only ones I don't are the promo game package with like 20k starting UEC, and my original Cutter starter game package!

Once the system is in place I highly doubt you'll lose the ship for good, the EU will wipe the floor with them.
Agreed. If you use real money to purchase something, that something should never have a chance of ever being lost (or taken away) as long as the platform you got it on exists.
Yeah and the LTI thing is a weird one. The only logical thing I can think of with non-LTI ships is that once the insurance is up you'd have to do something like force the player to buy more insurance at the point it runs out (like you try to claim and then you have to pay a fee). So having LTI from a practical standpoint is making it so you don't need to pay reclaim fees.

2. Double hull armor on bottom, drop ship to protect from ground gunfire, and it cost alot

No, you can't choose a Connie or Scorpious and still stack the Star Runner. (Because you can't upgrade a ship of $240 to a warbond of $240 value... The most expensive ship you could link to the MSR warbond is the Cutty steal.)
As far as chaining goes it's basically pick one of the three Connie, Scorpius, or MSR none of them can be linked.

I'd just like to point out that you don't have to pay full price for the cutter stand alone. Right now, you could just buy an ATLS with LTI for $35, and a $5 CCU from ATLS to cutter. It doesn't come with a game package though, and the next time all packages go on sale would likely be IAE in a couple of months.
we've supported CGI for more than a decade with our "purchases". we know we're not buying anything real. we know it's stupid. it's just that our kind of stupid is what gave you all the "not quite yet a real game" you're enjoying today. it's NOT about pay to win. it's about wanting a certain game to exist so bad that we pay good money to make it real, (and you're right - without LTI, it's a no deal)...
You cant stack mercury and andromeda. Andromeda regular price 240 and warbond ccu for mercury 240, you cant stack if same price.

There is talk of a bomber version of the Prowler. Which makes perfect sense to me. Instead of people coming out those side doors, a bomb extends on an arm out the door.

Pirate vulture kind of fits imo. Not like a combat, but absolutely part of cleanup crew.
another big point to consider between the corsair and constellation discussion with the new inventory updates has to be with the constellation series severe lack of internal storage lockers available. correct me if im wrong, but i've yet to find any working internal storage lockers, requiring you to bring an scu box, whereas the corsair has its four crew rooms each with its own individual storage unit under the bed. so for multi-crew until CIG facelifts a number of interiors i feel like the corsair could just use some hull/wing health and maneuverability and the slight downside in cargo space could be overlooked. I know you like to fit the nursa too, which the corsair does perfectly, though ive yet to find a spot in either ship to store the atlas off the cargo grid
Lots of cool CCUs this year. The big draw for me for Pirate Week is always the paints. The Solar Winds and Meridian paints are some of my favourites in the game. I have both packs even though I don't have all ships. I bought the packs _just in case._

In reference to the eclipse. Everybody looks at ships by themselves but I think some ships are not suppose to be going at things solo. The eclipse and gladiator to me are those ships. I see them as a group hit and run. 3 eclipse doing a run on any capital class ship. Imagine once orgs become a true thing in game as well as capital ships. Your org has scouts that go around a system looking for potential threats to thier org. A scout runs up on an idris and support posting up some place. You don't have the man power to fight them, wether it's just online or at all. Taking 3 eclipse to do a long range hit and run to try and cripple it could be deadly. Come in from behind, sub target engines and let all the torps go. Same concept with the gladiator but I think they would be best vs maybe a mining operation. Use the size 5s in hope your just going to disable. Then with the ships like the mole disabled you can come back with proper fighters to take thier escorts out not having to worry about the moles escaping.

The Warden needs more forward armor and guns?
The Warden is the Abrahams of the Verse. That thing can be totally f'd up and is still beyond lethal. You put a S5 ADB5 on its nose along with x4 S3 laser repeaters and you will eviscerate anything in your firing solution. When I absolutely positively need to destroy the target, ... the Warden is my go-to choice amongst my fighters. And keep in mind I also own a F8C, the exclusive Hornet F7A Mk1, Hornet Heartseeker, Hornet F7C mk2, the Scorpius and 325A, Gladius, Hurricane and Arrow.

You and I are shoulder to shoulder on buying any of the ships "on sale" this time. I was looking at that big pack of them, then saw the 6-month insurance. Nope!
On that big paint pack, I agree with you for the most part, but I bought it because I own, or will own, most of those ships and I really, really, like those paints.
The meridian, solar winds, and Sterling paints are absolutely top tier. Golden Age of Aviation 1930s full chrome is absolutely gorgeous and I want it for every ship I own

41:00 The Scorp and Scorp A should just be one ship where the second player has both the disabling modules and the turret.
It’s utterly absurd to ask an entire human to sit in the Scorp A and have their entire gameplay be “turn on red sphere and watch the pilot do everything else.”
This wouldn’t even be a buff to what two players can do. The Mantis + F7A already exist, already require the same two players, and already has more combat power than a hypothetical Scorp + Scorp A fusion dance.
I feel the Scorp A really stands out as the one ship no one should pay even $5 for.

The eclipse is a single focus ship, it does exactly what it’s supposed too.

Ummm you can 1 shot kill with a size 9 torpedo… single torpedo to kill hammerhead and 3 well places torps kills an 890

I think that the economy is going to change from the current "easy money" to a point where the saying will change from "you can buy all the ships in game" to "You can buy ANY ship in game... maybe even 3 or 4" So I am buying up my moneymakers and my toys, so I can PLAY the game

The VULTURE Pirate skin looks terrible with the eyes covered up. Terrible placement. They should have put sunglasses on that one.

Honestly, as cool as the skull theme is for piracy, i would rather have had a Solar Winds or even Meridian paint for my Scorpius. A solar Wind for tbe Scorpius and a Skull for the Anteres double pack would have been cool to see.
The Eclipse is a beautiful ship and if you change the tropedos to... think... Typhoon? They work quite well. But for 300 dollars 3 tropes... 100 dollars per torpedo is way too expensive. With the Retaliator you get 6 torpedoes, 5 turrets, beds...etc for almost the same money. With better weapons and better tuning for bounty hunting it would be nice for $200.
I appreciate your coverage on the latest news. With that being said, I'm struggling with spending any additional money with cig until gameplay and features get smoothed out, and past urchases are fulfilled. S42 was damaged near done a year ago. Launch it already, and them finish SC. 10 years is well past due.

Why do you mention the M50 and everything is about fighting with it? Its a RACER ship. Why every ship needs to be bought to the fighting scenario? Its guns? Whatever its guns!
Any paint that is more than $5 is overpriced because they are not even a skin. A skin has some modifications like ship damage or jerry-rigged repairs. In the case of the paints, they are literally just changing the code for what color is displayed on the graphical skin. Honestly, I don't understand why changing the paint color is even a pledge since it should just be a color wheel option in the hanger for UEC.
Not sure how I'd be intimidated by a skull on a vulture...

I typically buy the CCUs and sometimes multiples of each even if i am not sure if i need it right away. Then at the end of IAE i start linking them together. I am a CCU collector😂
The Mantis has a design that I like, but it's not my usual style of play. Maybe after the update for bounty hunting it might find some use. I think that the skull crusher should be available for the buccaneer.

Really hope all RSI ships eventually have canopies the same and they ditch the struts...
it's a shame they didn't give those crates in the big pack as rewards for the blockade runner event, or atleast not locked it behind the $600usd pack.
I think you can’t upgrade to the Pirate Caterpillar and Gladius and they have only 6month of insurance 😢

was able to close a gap in my ccu chain with the msr. i´m glad to get this one before iae. just waiting for a ccu from c1 to ballista, to save some money, but ballista is always available, so i could close my chain right now if i wanted to

From what I understand the Pirate Gladius does have different weapons and missiles. At least that is what I read in another comment section.
