Doesn’t the Carrack have 2 remote turrets in the Upper Bridge and 2 manned turrets on the port and starboard sides? Edit: just double checked, one manned bottom turret and one remote top turret in addition to the manned wings.
Have not double checked but 2 powerplants soon I believe. And the turrets from what I recall remote upper turret. 3 other manned turrets and good overlapping fire on ground and air. I had heard that the carrack went up to size 5 guns on turret a while back but have not doubled checked. Either case if they slide that swcond power plant in it will have a lot of juice.

@@Jathnor oh wow I haven’t noticed that if it is showing up. It doesn’t help that it am not often in the mid or aft section of the ship when docking maneuvers are taking place. I’ll take a look next time I’m able and update.
This was the single best review of this ship I have seen, you covered every possible use case and shortcoming this ship has and have cemented it as my daily driver for the life of SC, i have a 600i EXP LTI and fully intend to explore every facet of this game through the cockpit of this ship. Agreed, really enjoyed his video on the 100s as it seemed like the most objective I’ve seen in a while, whereas other channels seem to entirely glaze or roast it.

To be clear, there aren't 600i variants. There's one 600i model. It has MODULES. They just haven't sold the modules separately yet, and if course the Tali is the only modular ship to actually receive its modularity so far.
First, I did not like the 600i because of it's weird interior layout. Then I learned about the rework, and now there is one in my hangar. Can't wait for CiG to finally implement the rework.
I’ve got both versions in game and I love them. The Touring is great for ferrying around your squad in luxury as you go from bunker to bunker stocking up on weapons, ammo, meds, and armor. Once exploration gameplay gets a facelift the variant will also be pretty awesome. Also the 600i has the best Captain’s Quarters currently in game
I cant wait for more of the ships to recieve their gold standard update passes. ❤ The 600i explorer will be intresting with the elevator being able to carry the nova tonk. Took me a few years to reach legatus and i have no regrets. Though atm i would wish there where more hangar flair stuff available to buy. Wonder if 600i or corsair going to be better in next patch. Im sure a 600i will be a little easier to do maintenance on than the carrack.

Also, I hope they don't make the medical bay as big as the rework concept. it feels like a waste of space. And for all luxury ships, they need to add more glass. The glass in SC lore is as strong as steel, no reason for us to not have more viewing windows, or video monitors to the outside like the fury blast shields.
The 600i has gotten some nice changes in the past couple of years, but I am really looking forward to the rework. My 600i Explorer is my flagship and I really hope that they have +Touring and +Explorer upgrades when the rework goes live with modularity. Until then, with my Nursa in the cargo hold, it's still a great ship when I'm flying with friends.
Love the 600i but I also have issues with it. Mainly it is the captain's quarters. looking at the 400i as an example of how I would like to see cabins in the 600 just bigger. For the explorer I would like to see the scanning room moved. The touring might have a lounge. The bar at the back can be used for guest cabins, entertainment game room or dining. Below that should expand the engineering space. The old scanning space would have crew cabins. Below that the cargo space and expand it.
shield generator is not medium size it is large btw it is a great video and i am really stuck with my 600i should i upgrade for BMM or stay only downside of 600i is cockpit right now i don't like pilot seat it is too behind
I have the 600i executive variant. I actually suggested for the rework but since that's supposed to be such a special ship, it should be modular and just have both layouts available after hanger modifications.
I'll do you one better. It should have both versions the old AND The new plus it should have a special loadout with all Grade A parts and unique interior features like different art or a different executive inspired color scheme.
I love this ship! It may not be the "most" useful ship atm vs other options, but it will get better, and even if it doesn't, I'm never getting rid of it!
I'm really looking forward to the rework, especially for the explorer. I'm not a big fan of the interiors of Origin's touring variants (I can't stand the interior of the 890, and the 600i touring looks like it will be similar), but that design language when applied to Origin exploration ships... it's gorgeous IMHO. The interior of the 400i is probably my favorite of all ships in the entire game, in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. And with what they accomplished with the 400i's interior given the limited space, it gives me high hopes for the 600i rework.
I do love this ship, it may end up in my fleet if my wallet doesn't break first. I currently have a Connie Aquila for the explorer role, but that med bay makes this sound a little better post upgrades. And it can carry a larger vehicle

@@ParagonFangXenfor the name the 600i is a bit weird because it uses the same letter in the i convention where every other origin variant uses a different number or letter. For the thumbnail, the advice was find a consistent tone and color scheme and keep it simple so people can recognize your videos based on thumbnail alone and so they aren't too busy.

I remember pledged this ship around 3.20-3.21 patch.. using this to do solo ERT and cramping almost 140+ scu inside the bay.. idk if its possible to do now
I bought this in-game and lost it to a bug when 3.24 landed. (Apparently, if your ship is not properly stored when a patch hits, it can disappear from your inventory). I missed it so much, and dreaded grinding that much in-game cash again, that I knuckled under and bought it. Definitely my favorite ship, despite all the problems (like falling out when using the elevator - that back wall doesn't actually exist for players...)
Seven years since the concept and we still don't have the Origin Rover...uhh I mean G12, which was re-concepted four years ago. Then the rework has spent two years on the shelf. The 600i is a case study on CIG procrastinating and over promising.
Would be nice if the reworked 600i Touring came with a X-85 that could be docked the same way as the Constellation's Merlin snub fighter. This would allow the Captain and a guest to go on private touring excursions without wasting a lot of internal space on a hanger. The X-85 could also double as an escape ship if disaster or pirates make things go south (The Plebe menials can use the Escape Pods after loyally giving their lives covering their beloved Captain and his Lady Friend's escape...). This would also give the X-85 a purpose in the game and would off-set the G-12 that comes with the 600i Explorer. . The 600i Touring also needs scenic panoramic side windows that compete with the ones that come with the RSI CONSTELLATION PHOENIX ( " It's all about the view !" ) . As a side note, when the rework comes out, it will be Modular...Meaning whichever version you have, you will be able to buy the other versions module (cash or in game) and swap them in and out whenever you wish. That adds another point, making the 600i Explorer your first ship rated at an 11 out of 10 !
I have both this ship(The “E” in that pretty BIS skin) and the Carrack and I am convinced that both are awesome in their own ways. As the Polaris now has only capital class components I don't think it fits under sub cap anymore lol. In a way the Polaris is actually the most capital capital of all the capitals according to CIGs reasoning which is quite funny(other caps have a mix of cap and smaller components)
The bad side of 6ooi touring is the same of many others with the same role: we have no windows! How can I enjoy a trip of I can't see outside? They should bring some Tevarin tech to some walls become invisible there.

I only have 2 pledged ships (so far) - a Vulture and a 600i. The 600i is, for me (currently), the ultimate solo player ship. Even more once the rework happens.
This, and many other older ships, need their reworks - But I'm wary, considering the shield and weapon tuning things like the Corsair are getting, that its going to end up a bit subpar from my hopes.
I don't know, nerding the third gun would be the only thing they could do by changing it to a turret but it would just make it similar to the M2 which isn't much of a downgrade as far as weaponry.
The only Origin ships I think buying Warbond are the 315p, 325a and the 600i. All of them are great however all ships need gold pass and with changes happening to the Redeemer who knows where all ships will end up. At the end of the day I just want my 325a to be OP ;)
I have the Explorer version and after playing CCU games managed to nab it at 245 USD. This ship will NEVER be melted (Even though I also own an 890), I couldn't ever manage to nab one again at that price or lower. 😂
yeah, I got a Carrack. but I also have a CCU chain to a 600i Explorer for pretty cheap. I'd rather have the touring, Personally, but I suppose the modularity will take care of that.
So 890jump is $40 more than a pair of 600i one in each variant. So with everything that is coming would it be better for a small crew to run a pair of 600i with all the same spare parts and be familiar with all the same systems than one large ship or a mismatched pair of ships?
In the long run the 890 jump will get buffed way beyond where it is now but the 600i will get buffed only a bit from where it is now. And even still two 600i would be better. Because its more geared towards multirole and easier to kit out and repair while fighting. But the 890 Jump will still be a beast!
Nah, 600i Touring is my pick over 890 Jump. It's a perfectly sized ship, looks amazing inside and out, feels amazing, and is my solo luxury cruiser that I can enjoy with others if I want. 890 is nice but I would never choose it over the 600i. Price is a non factor to me.If I want it I will have it.

Yep. Before every patch I move everything to my home base. Before cargo I even took every weapon, armour set, the lot. Never lost a single ship.

When they eventually fixed the cargo elevator, the 600ix became a feasible but underdeveloped ship. Now it’s the loaner for the 600ixrw

600i use Quarrelers for all s3 they are the exact same stats as omnisky but much higher capacitor and they sound/look cool af

This, and many other older ships, need their reworks - But I'm wary, considering the shield and weapon tuning things like the Corsair are getting, that its going to end up a bit subpar from my hopes.
I don't know, nerding the third gun would be the only thing they could do by changing it to a turret but it would just make it similar to the M2 which isn't much of a downgrade as far as weaponry.
I wonder if the rework will have the new model with a regen bed. I sure hope so.
The only Origin ships I think buying Warbond are the 315p, 325a and the 600i.
All of them are great however all ships need gold pass and with changes happening to the Redeemer who knows where all ships will end up.
At the end of the day I just want my 325a to be OP ;)
I have the Explorer version and after playing CCU games managed to nab it at 245 USD. This ship will NEVER be melted (Even though I also own an 890), I couldn't ever manage to nab one again at that price or lower. 😂
600i is my favorite ship hands down

yeah, I got a Carrack. but I also have a CCU chain to a 600i Explorer for pretty cheap. I'd rather have the touring, Personally, but I suppose the modularity will take care of that.

So 890jump is $40 more than a pair of 600i one in each variant. So with everything that is coming would it be better for a small crew to run a pair of 600i with all the same spare parts and be familiar with all the same systems than one large ship or a mismatched pair of ships?
In the long run the 890 jump will get buffed way beyond where it is now but the 600i will get buffed only a bit from where it is now. And even still two 600i would be better. Because its more geared towards multirole and easier to kit out and repair while fighting. But the 890 Jump will still be a beast!
Nah, 600i Touring is my pick over 890 Jump. It's a perfectly sized ship, looks amazing inside and out, feels amazing, and is my solo luxury cruiser that I can enjoy with others if I want. 890 is nice but I would never choose it over the 600i. Price is a non factor to me.If I want it I will have it.
