I've had Americans ask me if I live in huts with lions walking around or in a grassland/jungle when they hear I'm from South Africa, and I've also seen India being described only as dirty and crowded. The average person from the West sees these places as undeveloped or wild or entirely rural. They are also confused that I am not black but am from South Africa. But I live in Johannesburg, South Africa aka the richest city in Africa and very cosmopolitan, meaning a melting pot of so many cultures, languages, religions, foods and peoples. My ancestors were brought from India to South Africa by the British to work on sugarcane plantations. Anyway, the so-called financial West seems to think everywhere else is underdeveloped and that poorer countries are only poor just because, but often it is because of European colonialism or the US that countries lost money, for example the British took trillions of dollars from India as well as valuable gems and gold (even used in the royal crown), as well as gold and precious stones from countries in Africa. And the British took so many historically or culturally important artifacts from Africa and Asia to put in their museums and haven't given them back. Also France made newly-independent Haiti pay them so much money otherwise they would invade and reinstate slavery, and Haiti would lose their independence - as a result Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world and some people think it's just because. But no, Haiti and so many countries lost money and value to Europeans or US who took it.
Indians are very attached by african peoples by hearts and you already seen that in our Goverments steps and good gesture towards african countries and peoples . ❤️ From 🇮🇳 and you know what in india some state like Gujarat, chhatisgadh where african villages are present there with full freedom .
