Even Indian militaries are in 3rd/4th position in the world, still India never attacks on first. Joining Indian Army is a dream of every youth of India. Bcz we consider it's as our pride. if a person will die in during his service the another person from that family brother/sister/wife will go to serve the nation if that person is eligible.

alright things to clarify: that was not a nazi sign. nazi one is tilted 45 degrees and ours is a SWASTIKA the symbol of peace and prosperity in hindu culture, which hitler stole basically. also we dont have a monarch in our country. the president is no. 1 but doesnt have much power. he is no. 1 on paper since every powerful decision requires his signature. the power lies in the hands of prime minister who is chosen by the general public. also our military squads are not on basis of north south but on the basis of regions like the camel one you saw are mostly the squad from desert region of our country like rajasthan or gujarat, also the squads are basically categorized like CRPF commandos, police, navy, army then different other ones. my fellow indians correct me if i am wrong.
President of India - Head of the Armed Forces. President acts on the behalf of Parliament (and in some cases Cabinet's recommendation). PM is head of Executive/Administrative Branch (ruling the country), he/she can't declare the war.
@@munagalavrrthats indeed true but it is also true that in most cases the president is from the ruling party so basically under the prime minister. also president cant just decline any request from prime minister. the head of armed forces things is basically just on paper. president cant just do anything on his own so yeah thats why i pointed out the president's power on paper.
@@cathey7 Based on the protocol, PM can't reach out to President directly unless there is an emergency (educated guess). Look at the reasoning behind why universally respected Adbul Kalam didn't get second term as President. Avoid mixing politics and powers (otherwise you are attributing motives).
@@munagalavrrtbh everyone knows it already and its even written off in most textbooks that president has no immediate powers yes everything needs his/her signature and his/her permission but he/she cant keep on declining bills if its passed by the lok sabha and rajya sabha again and again, he/she cant directly order armed forces on his/her own. also politics and power are definitely co-related in our country. take for instance the emergency implemented during Indira gandhi's rule as a prime minister it is said officially that under indira gandhi's suggestion President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed declared emergency when there was literally no need so yes everyone knows what goes behind the doors. its all protocol on papers. president cant decline a prime minister's request. for example the demonetization of 2016 the president at the time Pranab Mukherjee didnt even know about such a bold step from the government he only came to know when it was announced by PM Modi. there are lots of other instances too. also APJ Abdul Kalam didnt get second term because in 2002 BJP was the ruling party and in 2007 when APJ Abdul kalam's term ended, it was congress party as ruling party. president is chosen with the voting of members of parliament so its obvious that the party who's in majority wins most of the time. the candidate who has the ruling party in his/her support wins. so this is how politics and power works in our country.

Republic day is one hell of a day😂 i saw this thing live on 26 january this year. I was literally 20 meters from whole ongoing processions. It was so crazy to watch. Everyone was shouting trying to cheer them up it was so fucking loud i felt like i was about to drop dead like sounds of jets and those bands. Really once in a lifetime thing.

Guys India is the totally independent country there is no monarch in India. Our president is the supreme commander of the defense forces and he is the supreme leader of the county and prime minister is his subordinate who manages and takes decisions on behalf of the president. But the decision becomes law only after President's signature. And president is ofcourse Indian only. And camels are really used in India' border security force (BSF) which are deployed in deserts od Rajasthan and Gujarat. Thanks for reactions ❤

Squads are divided into Regiments.
All state have their own regiments related to their culture ❤
thats not always true...some regiments are state based alright, but some are region specific (like the SSF - special frontier force. Rajputana Rifles or Mountain Strike Corp etc) and some are even tribe or caste based, though now most of the caste/tribe based regiment do have representation from other castes and tribes, for eg. Mahar regiment (though people of other caste too can join this now) or Rajput regiment but other regiments like Gurkha regiment (of whose great Sam Manekshaw sir was legendary representative) or Sikh regiment, the person of similar caste is a strict criteria, though officers are of mixed representation!
This is how diverse our army is just like our Nation, but still strongly bonded....the true aspect of Unity on diversity!

Next, that was not nazi sign. It was Swastika sign, a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions, i.e. Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism. Nazi sign was appropriated from it, slight difference is that it is tilted and then it became recognisable in that form in western world. before WW1, it was considered auspicious in west also.
In India, Swastika is widely during rituals, marriages and festivals. Also used in most eastern culture China, ASEAN etc wherever Indian religions spread.

As of Rajasthan it is a state in which a deser named Thar desert is located and so these camel battalions are used to patrol in these areas

No, India does not spend most of its money on the military. The defence budget is about 12-14% of it's entire budget. India is called a sibcontinent because we have all the geographical features that a continent has - mountains, plateau, plains, desert, coasts tropical islands, rainforests/jungles so our military needs to be prepared for anything. Not to forget that most of out borders are with volatile countries of China (the troublemaker) and pakistan (hub of terr0rism)

Hi, respect for reaction on our prade March, so each group represents different regiments, differ from army, navy and airforce.
The red dress with the horses before after the shows is president bodyguard. India may be have many battalions. Some of the battalion present there March pass during republic day & Independence Day.
During these events they shows different states tableau about there importance & culture
India have many different regions languages, ethnicities, food habits and in the past had many kings and kingdoms in these different regions and so basically speaking all these regions had warriers and people living in these regions are emotionally attach to India and are proud Indians. People give respect to solders who laid their lives for nation and Really speaking we have at many places in North India places which are kept as temple of worship and in these temple we have statues of a Solder who laid his life and still shows his presence and fulfill yours wishes if you go there and pay respect in these temples. There is one such place in the Mountain region where the solder who laid his life in a war with China is still worshiped and the temple was constructed by Defence forces and He still shows his presence there and alert or guide Indian regiment in case of any conspiracy. He is still getting his Salary & promotion in his Military Rank.

Each of these regiments have 3 or 4 different kinds of uniforms meant for different occasions/purpose. These uniforms on the republic day parade are ceremonial uniforms. These are worn on special occasions. On regular service days they ware combat uniforms.
