    Retired 23 year US veteran here. I would go into combat with the Indian military any day. I trained with them for a year and loved every second of it. Very professional and like you said, the most colorful uniforms out there. Great reaction to one of the best military parades on the planet.

    The actual event isn't called "hell march." That's just what the video creator called it. The event is called the "Republic Day parade" to commemorate their Republic Day. Their uniforms are amazing. I love those big moustaches, too. I actually grew mine out like that once. It's a lot of fun.

    • @akshatshetty7530
      @akshatshetty7530 2 года назад +66

      At least someone does research. But the words "Hell March" is main theme song of Command and Conqueror and the Video Maker made the Initial video of the Republic Day Parade with it. Everybody loved the edit along with the song so now they call it a Hell March
      FUN FACT: The March length is 12 Kms but it has been shortened to 9 Kms (due to all the pandemic situation where they have wear mask which makes it harder to breath), they practice it for a week and more than 2 lac (200,000) people including officials and civilians of our country attend it. "9 KMS" it should be called HELL MARCH. Imagine the PARA COMANDOS having HIGH KNEES MARCH for 9 kms
      And KIWI family, Love from INDIA 💕🖖 IPL is on gotta go (fun watching kiwis in it)

I don't know how in this day and age people can't research over Internet. 😂 You know recently I watched a video titled: "British Family Reacts The United States (USA) vs The World - Who Would Win? US would launch an Carrier Strike from Sea and Air Bases in Iraq and Afghanistan! - What bases in Afghanistan? (I know the video was made in 2018 by the creator and reaction was given by the particulars last month) but at least the commenter had to know it cause he boasted he was a veteran and US knows to use its force 😅😂🤣It's only my opinion as his

Indian Armed Forces are no.1 in the world in all the aspects like valor, bravery, patriotism, discipline etc. Thanks a million for making this video. Jai Hind Jai Bharat.

      Lol they are not #1, they make the top 10 but their equipment is very dated and old technology not suited for a modern adversary (soviet era). They also don't have any modern war experience which is why even a military like the Russians had such a difficult time in Ukraine for the first year and a half. This is something to be proud of however, as no war means your taxes can go towards enriching your own people.

    Actually there is 2 part in the parade -
    Military parade and cultural parade
    In military parade this year there was a theme about how uniforms changed in the Indian Army from 1947 to 2021 and the change in equipments .
    Yes the camale regiment is not part of Indian Army but part of Border Security force of India that guard the Thar Desert . They use camals as in the Thar desert it is impossible to guard those areas with modern vehicles where building road is impossible
    In cultural parade they shows cultures of different states of India .

    This just reminded me of my childhood, me, my father and my mother used to sit in front of the TV on Republic day. I was always fascinated and enjoyed watching the military parades. 25 yrs now and not a single mistake in the Republic day parade. In fact it only got better and better every year. There are different regiments and forces that wear different colored uniforms. Navy, BSF, CISF, airforce, SPG, COBRA team and many I dont remember. Thanks for the video I just recalled many things watching the video.

      @@yournewzealandfamily I couldnt find why is it called Hell March I believe because of the training you need to go through a lot but I could be wrong. Every year there is something new. This year they revived the WW2 British Indian dress and some new American based dress material, You did notice the para SF, there was NDA contingent which is young army cadets who join straight after the school hence looked young as you spotted, the acrobatics is not a unit but to display strength and daredevil attitude some women were trained in a year from learning to bike just with their will and determination. This year it was the first time they live streamed from the fighter aircraft which is specially amazing to me like how did they show the video in real time from hypersonic aircrafts. Well a lot to talk about. The whole program was partly in English as well if you want to learn more.

    Hi, Indian here Who has been part of the process of this parade once. To clarify your question, Yes most of the Marching contingents are from the various regiments of the Armed forces, other marching contingents include NCC cadets(you might think them akin to scouts? they are students from both schools and colleges, I was among these!), police force, social service volunteers and even veterans. Marching contingents are interspersed with Military marching bands, This actually helps contingents remain in their iconic synchronization, they are marching in tandem to the beat of the band behind or in front of them! The gentlemen on the vehicles at the beginning of the parade are gallantry award recipients and are honoured for their service every year by being respectfully invited to be a part of the parade. The various Tableaus are called Jhakis (pronounced Jhaa-kee) are representations of the cultures and social efforts of the various states and ministries of the country. It's nice to see you guys be so appreciative!
