The real story behind captain vikram batra,his whole platoon at night climed almost a 90° vertical climb and surprised the enemy,at the height of almost 20,000 feet ,where the war was going on,and when the gun battle was going on,a soilder from his platoon got stuck with bullet,and was lying in the fire zone,thn another soilder who was fighting with batra sir was going to rescue tht fallen one,but batra sir hold him and told these r his literal words"" you stay you have your wife and kids behind,i have no one"" even though batra sir was captain of tht platoon nd the soilder who was going was much much below of rank,nd batra sir has almost completed the rescue,at last moment he was stuck with enemy bullet,if it wasnt for this brave man bravery of climbing tht vertical climb at night,india would have lost almost 30,000 sq kms or maybe more,in the whole 1999 india vs pak war this was the highest peak,man like these comes once in centuries
