BTW are there particular commentator/influencers who you feel put out a negative report on a stock, do so to swing it down so they can personally buy in at the lower price and take the float?
I'm thinking of putting some cash in stocks, I was at Salt Shack and I overheard some friends saying it's ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?

Buy and fold your arms. SoFi will be profitable for all of 2024 and will raise guidance before or during their Q1 earnings call. SoFi will be eligible for inclusion into the S&P 500 by this time next year.

Usually it’s risky trading the crypto market even as an expert but then professional advice and guidance is always the best else losses becomes inevitable.
That’s true, but the risks are minimal when you make those moves with the guidance of a professional. People still make huge ROI on a daily

I knew already man also Sofi is about to do tax accountants that’s a new product Sofi wants to compete with intuit that will be huge in the future. Convertible shares is $9 so is not cheap

I think SOFI will be fine . When opening a savings account a went with Discover over SOFI just because SOFI wanted direct deposit into them . I was opening a savings account to make some interest off my account. It did offer more interest than Discover but I like just to transfer money in when I want without direct deposit.

Between the convertible note deal (good or bad, it comes off FUD'ish), the two executives leaving, and now Robinhood stepping up their game with their new gold CC to compete with SOFI (again, good or bad for SOFI, it's not helping), we've had a steady stream of FUD for the whole month of March!
Hoping the FUD news will chill the F' out and the price can continue to recover into earnings! I'm long and strong in any case, let's geaux SOFI!!

The CC is not putting it online with Sofi. If Sofie could get rid of that business without customer they would. Robinhood will like the moment for now, but hate all the defaults later on.

80% of the stock is owned by people like us. No big institutions have bought in yet so until retail starts loading up it wont go much higher or lower. But definitely a long term hold. I think its under valued right now. More like a 12-15bill market cap stock imo.

I don’t think so. Do not play in the same spaces too much. Hood has no bank charter and doesn’t have loan products. Hood actually runs off of Sofi’s tech stack. Hood is a sofi customer

SOFI can’t catch a break. You didn’t even mention the Robinhood news. Which a lot of people are saying is a negative for SOFI. So 3 whammies and ironically the stock was up today. Market makes no sense.

It’s a just another bank that doesn’t make a profit. I would never invest in it. Not sure what all the hype is about. Their exposure to student loans and mortgages is a red flag in this economy.

Agreed, my portfolio is well-matched for every market season yielding 85% from early last year to date. I and my advisr are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take another year. IMO, financial advisors are the most sought-after professionals after doctors.
