I just tried FSD supervised and it blew my mind. Aside from the 3 seconds stop signs, it is extremely accurate and smooth.

I don't want to be shot, but did anyone think that not everyone is interested in FSD I like driving myself around, and maybe the model 2 will be to small for millions of people to buy even if they are more reasonable priced, I already see some new model3 in inventory , are they the rejects that people wou!d not accept, what does this tell you about the quality improvement at Tesla?
Tesla in just this quarter did better than it did in 2019 for the year. Idk what world people are living in, the times are tough and questionable and yet they are still putting out number’s like this. Buying more.

Was extremely disappointed with the Q1. I was expecting the stock to drop more. It didn't. Bummer... Now I have to DCA like usual 😭
I am conflicted, from one hand, if you look at the numbers, most likely Tesla gained big times market share globally, FSD seems improved yet the timelines are not clear, maybe another 3-4 years to be optimistic. On the other hand I still cannot reconcile how they will manage to get to 10 or 20 mil cars. Assuming current range is nearly platoed, adding another 1 M Cybertruck we are in the 3-3.5 mil vehicles, Model 2 might add another 3-4 mil to be optimistic might bring to 7-8 mil. Far away from the 10 or even 20 mil. Geographic expansion in Asia will take 5-6 years and initially won’t add tons of cars. Now I get the AI story but it will be NA specific for the next 5-10 years to be optimistic. Yes there is energy and the bot but again nothing is proven yet. I am re looking at my thesis but I feel like (and not for this q results) the assumptions need to be pushed forward by at least 5 years vs the initial assumption of 2030. Now you can roast me 😂

New fsd version is very good. Still not great but very good. But for me even if it was hand free, watch tv I still wouldn’t pay $200 month for it. $100 sure.

With tesla carrying the eV sector rn I'm inclined to cut the whole sector right now in weighting
Many if not most of the other vehicle makers will end up licensing Tesla's FSD. This also means that they will need to adopt Tesla's Software Defined Vehicle architecture, and purchase Tesla's FSD chip. This would make Tesla in the car industry equivalent to Microsoft (software) plus Intel (processor chip) in the PC industry. And on top of that other car makers will likely end up licensing the software that drives the screen in Tesla's vehicles (which is separate from the real-time computer that actually drives the car).

If Teslas need less maintenance and keep getting software upgrades perhaps loyal tesla buyers may pay more but keep the cars longer. tesla may need more new EV buyers.
In the US there is still about 90% of all new cars sold are ICE cars, EV's will dig in this market, Tesla still has about 60% of the EV market, If Tesla would keep its EV market share at 20% and 100% of all new cars are electric.... Tesla will need to produce way more than 20 Million cars per year!
So there is plenty supply of new customers the coming years... Actually the majority of new Tesla's go to first time EV buyers.
Regulators can mess with Tesla till the cows come home...
