Aligning the wood lathe headstock

Lathes with swivel heads need to be aligned when returning to the centre position. Here we use the Nova Acruline to realign the head.

How do you adjust if it doesn't align?

All lathes are different. The Nova Neptune Lathe as shown in this video, page 20 of the manual (available for download from teknatool.com) explains the process of aligning the headstock. If you have a different lathe then you should consult the manual for that lathe, failing that hopefully someone has posted something to the internet that can help.
