Anybody hear Chris Eubanks doing commentary on some matches recently? Wow, he’s a natural at that. He had a future in commentating after his tennis playing career is done.
It would be nice if the few bad apples in the crowd could show some gratitude that they are able to see live matches (many never have that opportunity) and be respectful towards the players whether they are cheering for them or not. Also, I am pleased that Meddy brought up TV coverage. It's frustrating...so expensive and a lot of greed in the industry.

They pay a licensing fee to a channel (i.e. ESPN, The Tennis Channel, Fox Sports). ESPN (owned by Disney) which has the broadcasting rights to the US Open could not come to an agreement as to what the fees will be. Disney wants more money while Spectrum doesn't want to pay. So as a result Disney pulled ESPN from Spectrum. As mentioned, Spectrum is one of the largest if not THE largest cable TV provider which is used my many if not most hotels (especially the chain ones). So where ever hotel Daniil (and later revealed...Coco Gauff) are staying at are Spectrum customers. So no ESPN. I have Spectrum for Internet only and RUclips TV for TV service so I am fine. My friend have DirecTV (satellite TV) so they are fine as well.
players are playing in hotter and more humid conditions more frequently because of global warming and that's going to effect the quality of tennis. I hope the players can stay safe under such conditions.

Disney is the one holding the reins and responsible for pulling the broadcasting.
