I commented this in another video, repeating it here: Meddy is a unique kind of player and true champion ✌. For almost less than a decade he kept his 'pusher' style intact and 'rope-a-dope' ala Murray, which can get you max. 3 Slams. He truly believed that with that style and his ever lasting legs can beat anyone. And, on the other hand all the experts and famous youtubers(specific to tennis) were scratching their heads why this guy don't change, for instance ''çhange receiving stance'', but he still preferred to stand near the broadcasting cameras while receiving serves. In 2021, he finally won a slam, by not standing near base line, but by efficient serving day. And, after his one sided loss to Carlos in California desert, he finally decided to change something. And, with few permutations/combinations and few disappointments(Wimbledon'23), he finally surprised the tennis world in USO-2023 by beating Carlitos easily. And, here in AUSO, although he went ''out of gas' but still he surprised everyone by his aggressive play. Murray never changed(except may be aggressive forehand under Ivan), but Daniil has changed and he showed that in recent years. He may win ÓNE' more Slan for sure.

As a graduate from the former Soviet Union, I wanted to see Daniel lift the trophy but he got so exhausted after the first two sets and still played so well against the hottest player. Поздравляю за это. It is not similar to 2022 when you should have won after being two sets and two break points up. I hope it will not affect your play in future matches. I wish you all the best

I don’t know why the Rafa final is compared to this final? In AO 2022 Medvedev was the favorite, and this time Sinner was favorite.
It seems Daniil is still processing the defeat against Sinner, he had already processed the defeat against Rafa, he was sad then, but he lost against a legendary warrior which seemed accessible then, proved to be tougher than expected.
This match was very close and Sinner engaged in third set.
