Just want to say I'm a truck driver in real life, on my job we have several different combinations of double trailers. I don't drive them but my collegues do and they have to park them in difficult or tight spots sometimes. It's not impossible, I have seen it myself. I have for example backed in a 25 meter combo into a spot once.
if u enabled the console in order to enable the double parking "i can do anything" write in the console: uset g_simple_parking_doubles "0" and thats it have fun.
I think its because the difficulty rating and because they are inable to park their own trailers, i watch a lot of the Devs. Streams they cannot park the normal trailers

I also think that the last step of enable the hard parking its easier to apply with the command in the console, but i wamted to explain both ways. Happy trucking tx for the support.
if i get this right, you are asking me how to change the position of loading and discharging the trailer ? if yes i don't know how to change the position or loading/ discharging the trailer, usually it depends from where you load/discharge place of loading/destination and the company. its hard to park even a single trailer on tight space ...
You don't click on Steam profiles you go on documents double click on euro truck simulator 2 and profiles after that u have to edit first to enable console and second time after u enabled console to use the command from when i record it and enable the double trailer hard parking
@@AurelianMocanu86 Imma rephrase that. The first time i tried to do enable the hard parking on the tandem trailer (double trailer), the always select the parking difficulty setting was on. The dev console was enabled. Then I wrote the command g_simple_parking_doubles 0 on the console but didnt touch the config file. It worked. I did this a few weeks ago. But today, when i finished my tandem trailer cargo job and went on the parking selection area on the delivery place, the hardest option was grayed out and blocked. Then I went straight into the config file of the game and the current version's config file, this line was already set to "0". After seeing that, I only changed the parking difficulty line from 1 to 0 and went back into the game (I didnt close the game before changing the config file if thats what i did wrong). In the game, I typed the same command as 0 into the console, pressed enter, closed the console and realised it was still not working. So basically, it only worked the first time i did this.
@@dafrenzyguy it should work do you have your g_developer enabled? When you use the console commands it should tell you the value that it has on your config it should work I hope they didn't change something on the new version
if i understand correctly? you want to close down the console and u want to change in the notepad the g_developer from 1 to 0 ? so you wouldn't have the console enabled ? or If u want to enable the console you have to enter in Documents, Euro Truck Simulator 2 Folder and on the bottom down double click on config.cfg open it with notepad and after that use "ctrl +F to find the g_developer and if its value is 0 change it with 1, after that in the same config.cfg find the g_console its valued should be 0, you have to change it with 1 to enabled it, if u need any other informations i`m here you can leave me a comment thx.

@@chasedbythewsj2396 maybe you didn't modify the notepad on the correct profile inside the documents of ETS2 folder, that's why i said if it still doesn't work you should enable the console in game u have the tutorial in this video its quite easy, and after u enable the consolde its easy to enable the g_simple_parking_doubles 0. i'm sorry it doesn't wok, keep me posted with what u change but try harder and u will succeed!

This works. However you will soon realize it’s a waste of time because it’s IMPOSSIBLE to park a double trailer. Other than that, for people that have issues activating console or getting it to work, it’s because of steam cloud. The save location is different than what was shown in the video
Boggles my mind that this isn't easier to unlock. Like with a level cap or something. Be level 20 - 25 - 30 .. something. Now you can try the real challenge. But noooo. Gotta tweak the settings and "hack" the game.

It only worked once, after that i couldnt do it again. Did all the other steps but it still is not working.

Did u use inside the console g_simple_parking_doubles 0 ? if this is 0 it should work because its for double trailers.
