- The 云 手 Yun Shou technique, Hands like Clouds or Walking in the Clouds, is a very ancient movement. Its origin is shamanic with the aim of inducing the trance and only later it merged into the martial arts. It is present in all styles of Taiji Quan. Another very ancient technique of shamanic origin is the "Flight of the Eagle" movement that still today the Mongolian wrestlers perform at the end of the matches. Both of these concepts are studied in the Bagua Zhang right in the sixth circle, the palm of the Eagle. In these shots Master George Xu shows some applications of the Bagua Zhang Eagle Circle.
IT La tecnica 云手 Yun Shou, Mani come Nuvole o Camminare fra le Nuvole, è una movenza antichissima. La sua origine è sciamanica avendo lo scopo di indurre la trance e solo successivamente è confluita nelle arti marziali. E presente in tutti gli stili di Taiji Quan. Altra tecnica antichissima di origine sciamanica è il "Volo dell'Aquila" movenza che ancora oggi i lottatori mongoli eseguono alla fine degli incontri. Ambedue questi concetti vengono studiati nel Bagua Zhang proprio nel sesto cerchio, il palmo dell'Aquila. In queste riprese il Maestro George Xu mostra alcune applicazioni del Cerchio dell'Aquila del Bagua Zhang.

I just love how closely Chinese Martial Arts are. I can see Xing Yi Animals (Alligator, Snake, Swallow, Rooster) as well as lots of Tai Ji movements as stated in the title. I just hope conditions get better at my country so that I can finally return to training...
I encourage you to continue your training regardless of where you are. Or under any given circumstance you may find yourself in. Recall the definition of kung-fu and persevere. Good luck.
@@stefanschleps8758 Thanks sir, I do try to train everyday. However, I hadn't completed my Bagua training for I only had time to learn 8 Mother Palms for I was more interested in Tai Ji and Xing Yi. Master Dante, with his videos has raised my interest in this amazing art, I want to learn more of it. Have a great day and nice training!
well Xing Yi, Bagua and Taiji are all Wudang Styles. In fact, they are the three *MAIN* styles of Wudang Kung Fu

Is there bagua mantis?
No, I believe there is no Bagua Mantis.
There's a style called Liu he mantis I think but I'm not sure if it is authentic.

Northern Mantis kung fu has influences from bagua, xingyi and taiji, because it was founded by someone who was part of the same social circle where those three arts were coming together around the turn of the 20th century. Sometimes you'll hear of "tai mantis" to emphasise that it's Mantis with Tai Chi principles. Northern Mantis is its own thing and is not a style of bagua but its creators knew of and were influenced by bagua so there's a little bit of it in there, same with xingyi.

Ну в какой то степени вы конечно правы, но будь это шляпа, эти боевые искусства не практиковались бы много веков. А почему они не известны на мировом уровне, тут думаю много факторов - секретность(чужакам показывают только малые азы), долгота обучения(согласен бокс с борьбой быстрей дают результат) и ещё восточные единоборства нацелены на убийство либо травмирование
@@user-jv6dj8ft2r, так и инквизиция практиковалась и верили,что креститься тремя пальцами надо,а не двумя...что в итоге?вы же видели конечно эти видео,где мудохают этих "великих" мастеров...вы никогда не задумывались,что весь Китай завоевали монголы,которые обладали только примитивной поясной борьбой?Японцы весь Китай ушатали,именно от них заимствовав через Окинаву боевые искусства. То есть именно секретность и невероятная смертельность (вы видео -то посмотрите с чего начали!!!) ...?
