  • The Casio Duro (or Marlin as it has been called) has long been adored by watch enthusiasts as one of the best values in a dive watch on the market today. Released in 2011, this watch could very well be the best watch I’ve ever purchased (at least) for the money!
With an ever popular 22mm lug width and all of the watch band options available…the Douro could easily be a “one-watch collection” or at least an excellent starter Watch for any enthusiast!

I have three Duros with the marlin (Pepsi, black, and gold). The resin band is the most comfortable band I’ve ever worn. I kept it on the Pepsi, but upgraded the black and gold Duros with jubilee bracelets.

I just bought a second one to give to my father. I’m a free diver, the marlin is a selling point for me!
    I immediately changed the strap.
It’s awesomely accurate. The lume is shit.
    Fantastic watch!

Just bought this watch for my nephew whos turning 17.
He loves my Citizen Promaster so I thought the Duro would be a good introduction to divers for him.

Love my Duro, it's a daily and over 2yrs old. Wears smaller than you would think (FYI 7" wrist)
I'm VERY hard on watches, have NO scratches on the crystal, and it's in very good shape. The lume is not great, have no issues with the crown, and the second hand hitting the markers is hit or miss(no pun intended). It appears to get better with time, btw. Mine was very good right out of the box.
I've spent more on straps then on the watch and Love it... Spends most of its time on a StrapCode 22mm Super-J Louis JUB Watch Band Straight End, 316L Stainless Steel Solid V-Clasp Button Double Lock. And looks amazing, often get "Is that a _____ , Oh" 😂
Punches WAY above it's weight, there are MANY watches that cost much more that are not as good. Would go with the Solar Version... the 007 is just WAY too expensive for what it is. Although I like it.

It's always nice how you all talk about how cheap it is, and value for money. But when i try to buy it in Europe, it's most of the time double the price! Would you still buy it for $ 110,- ?

Good question…it’s a great watch with awesome specs but, I wouldn’t recommend paying above Casio’s published MSRP (which is $69.99 USD currently). Thanks for watching!

Could you tell me the measurements of the Casio Casio Duro, as you did with the MTP-S110-1AVCF? Thank you and congratulations for your explanations in the videos.

Ridiculous value for money - had to get the Pepsi and the Batman versions. Upgrade the strap to an FKM and you've got an incredible daily beater watch
