bro i bought my m50 a month ago because of your videos and i honestly feel like ive learned so much. you need to know you are appreciated!!
I bought an M50 a month ago and stumbled on his videos and now I'm a dedicated fan!
@@ashmeesh that’s cool man I looked back on my comment and I’m saddened I lost all interest in video 😪 good luck on your journey bro
@@BlackShinobi. find something that inspires you again! I'm trying to find things that inspire me to start shooting!
@@ashmeesh cars are great for that, especially car cinematic, that’s what I’m chasing
Weird. Literally sitting here looking at ND filters and i get a notification for this video. Nice
I love it when that happens.
ND filters were some of the first things I got for my M50. My normal lens setup is the Nifty Fifty on the Viltrox speed booster. It’s beautiful at F/1.2.
Oh yeah! Nd is so important for that setup.
Can I see what is looks like with ur setup? I’m dying to know 🙏
@@MasonLawless I'm not sure where I could put content to showcase, but it is a really inexpensive, relatively speaking, setup, so you can duplicate it for yours without feeling bad if you don't like the results.
Your story telling is so nice 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Every time I look up something to do with Canon M50 you come up🤣 great content keep it up
Amazing! “The eye see’s blur”
I literally never noticed that until you said it.
You truly have a knack for this brother
Can't go wrong with a K&F Concept! I have 3 of them LOL
Nice!
Can Confirm! I got myself K&F Variable ND2-ND32 filter almost right after getting the M50 and it's awesome! Only vignetting I'm seeing is at the very highest stops, which I don't even use to be honest! Solid product!
I have a couple fixed ND, should have gotten a variable. Along with ND, a polarizer makes outdoor footage look super nice. Most polarizers have a little density to them. Thanks for this vid!
Just ordered a ND for my new M50 and found this video!!!
Oh man, I love the studio setup. The wide angle does great here with this space. Great video!
OMG, I went to make a video about ND filters only last Monday. Wanted to use the nifty fifty to further demonstrate my point - forgot the EF adapter - FAIL. Instead I will point my very few viewers your way for this video. I think this is the most important accessory for any camera. And they are not expensive. Great video.
I purchased a new variable ND Filter for my M50 and have noticed a massive difference on my video footage, I should of purchased it a year ago! 😎👍🏻
Do you recommend it ?
So much rain this week in NC.
Love my 49mm VND filter! Thanks for the video!
It has been pouring on and off. Not very inspiring.
ordered the ultra budget one like two days ago amazon was saying it will be back in stock June 1st but somehow it shipped today so I will be getting it in two days!! I realized after using my m50 for the first time outside that why the ND filter is really necessary. Btw i have watched almost all of your m50 videos and i cannot thank you enough!!! your videos have helped me so much to learn this camera in a couple of days since i recently just got the m50 and this is my first "camera"
Nd filter is wery important and must have! In Poland for M50 it's cost about 50 zł = 12.5$ SO its very nice price!
Awesome! Yeah I am lost without mine.
Thank you for sharing, you always inspire me. Completely understandable about not postings. I just also realized that I haven’t made a video for my channel in a several weeks. Working on one now.
Just ordered two for my self, a ND1000 and a variable ND 2 - 400. Hopefully I can do more long exposures not just at night now! Great video!
Thank you! I've got one
Thank you so much for the information 😊
Great video, informative as always
the video I needed for my new Canon M6 :)
Thank you for the tip will buy one 😍
I just ordered a pack of three 58mm NDs (Zomei - they seemed pretty good in most reviews I checked out) for my
18-55 kit lenses (Fuji & Canon)
75-300 Canon Zoom and
as well as my 28mm 1.8 prime.
ND 2, 4 and 8
Looking forward to seeing what results I get.
I hope there isn't too much colour cast in them.
Used one for first time other day. Definitely helped!
Great and timely video! I'm so glad I subbed to this channel the other day :)
I have been looking for that and I don't know where to get it. I am from the Philippines. I missed your videos its been a while since I visit your channel and always always brings me up to a good mood by the way, thank you.
Thank you @koRiAna! I am not sure how international commerce operates.
good video, man
Love your Vlogs and your presentation.
This is awesome ! I'm actually editing my new video for upload and noticed how blown out my whites are lol this video couldn't have come at a better timing lol
My thoughts are that if you own a lens, make sure you have a variable ND to use with it. Thanks man!
Nice been waiting for your opinion on this
Great video, thank you!
You are awesome
Amazing sir please reply can i directly use with canon 15 45 lens
As long as it is a 49mm thread yes
Considering the (2) Peter Mickinnon Mist filters for the Canon M50 to use with 22mm EF-M Lens. The step-down rings only go down to 49mm do not match the 43mm size. What ND filters do you recommend for the Canon M50 + 22mm Lens? Thanks Crowley!
Just in time. I was using an ND filter Sat while out filming yesterday around 2PM (lotos of sun) but found it difficult to filter the right amount of light through the filter in every take which done in different locations so each take looked a little different to the one before. Question..how do get get an even amount of light in all takes using the ND filter..just eyeball it? Another question I have is about using slow motion...I used high frame rate but the clips were blurry..how can I prevent this from happening? Last question..how do i know when the card is full?..sometimes I go out filming and suddenly a message pops up saying the card is full and I have to erase my footage and start filming from scratch.
I use the histogram to make sure my exposure is as consistent as possible.
As for the high frame rate, make sure you have it in focus (since servo AF doesn’t work) and the shutter speed is at 1/250.
@@TheCrowleyCrew Great thanks for the tips
Hi do you know a model for the 22mm too? Thanks
does that filter fit the kit lens too? thanks for this video man!
The 49mm fits the EF 50mm and the kit lens.
@@TheCrowleyCrew thank you man!
Are the ND filters targeted more for videos or it can be used and would be beneficial for photography? Thanks for the vids!
They are useful for both. Do photos it is to get motion blur photos in the day time.
Not compulsory for inside stuffs right?..on normal lighting.
Not unless you have a really wide aperture. Then you might need one.
How do you render and export your videos for youtube? What program do you use? Or can the settings be similar even if we don't use the same program? I'm using Davinci Resolve. Thanks for all of your help!
What do you think of the new Sony ZV1?
I watched one short video about it. Looks nice, but I am not gonna get one.
Hey Job. Another great vid!
Question--my channel is outdoor/hiking/backpacking focused, so I use an ND filter almost always. I've noticed my vids tend to have a color tint to them and it's kind of hard to color balance in post. Do you have any recommendations on remedying this?
Thanks!
Do you use a hood with your filter? I'd like to but the filter doesn't list the thread size that opposite the lens l.
Can you suggest ?for viltrox 23mm / 1.4 f lens
How do you keep your footage so stabilized while walking or even running?
How to achieve smooth motion vlog? This is really my struggle
Keep your shutter speed double your frame rate. For 24p 1/50 for 30p 1/60 and for 60p 1/125.
The Crowley Crew thank you so much 🙏🏼
very tempted to buy the "Ultra Budget 49mm Nd" for my kit lens, but a lot of reviews say that you lose a lot of image quality with that one... is this true? should I go for the "Better Budget Nd?
I have exclusively used the $13 fotga ND for my Kit lens.
@@TheCrowleyCrew your videos look great! So I’ll just go with that one. Thank you
Shot entirely with my M50 and an ND filter:
ruclips.net/video/Azay8VeSS-U/видео.html
Is this ND filter fits the stock lens of the M50?
The kit lens needs a 49mm ND.
Hi! If I have the kit lense what size filter would you recommend cause I’m still confused 😐
The 15-45mm uses a 49mm filter.
The Crowley Crew thank you 😊
bro 0.17 the blurryness is so noisy why is that ?
Do you need a step ring for this or does it fit directly to the kit lens for the m50?
I watch your videos to hear how you pronounce your R over and over again. It's so funny to me
what is your outdoor lens for the m50?
I use the 15-45 for pretty much everything unless I want a specific look.
@@TheCrowleyCrew okay, so the kit lens :-) like me
hi
Rrrrrrrrraptorrrrrrrrrrrrr
I had to watch the beginning three times to make sure I saw what I did. And, I'm sorry, I just have to say this. No facemasks? Lack of social distancing and shaking hands? I'm appalled at the lack of concern of the pandemic. Please be more cautious.
