This reminded me of "Pissing in the Mainstream", and since that is one of my favorite Dying Fetus songs, I'd say that's a good thing.
Somehow, Dying Fetus still writes songs with more amazing riffs than most bands have on entire albums. After hearing this, I'm sure this release will be another stellar addition to their catalogue.

This is the kind of tech death I love, one that makes sense not one making fast notes just for the sake of fast notes. These guys are pure talent!

The mix needs more meat to the sound. Not enough low end in the kick
agreed it does not have enough punch. needs more saturation and mid cuts. i hear a lot of mud. it's a more balanced mix than reign but it doesn't sound as commanding unfortunately..i'm really hoping this is a pre-master because the sound of the last one was near perfect to me for this kind of music.
Bones98 I was there, early in the set a stage diver knocked the main mic over and likely fucked up the sound. They warned to stay away from the mics due to recording purposes so everything would be perfect. When it happened John picked the mic stand back up and looked a bit pissed.

This is far more technical than Reign Supreme. Reign was more groove heavy, this is more like a mix of the technicality of Descend Into Depravity and the groove of Reign Supreme. Sounds like a killer combo to me.
SinCaptor95 I agree, it definitely sounds more technical than Reign Supreme, but still is super heavy with lots of groove. I'm glad they decided to keep doing they've done the last two albums to and combine aspects from both of them, which are two of my all time favorites.
