Dying Fetus had bass drops and breakdowns in their songs long before most of these present bands were conceived; well Obituary had it in the song Splattered from the World Demise LP. Dying Fetus, Suffocation and Nile were some of the top Tech Death bands out back then, in my opinion.

The funny/sad thing about death core...some of those guys have impressive vocal technique, that put older school bands to shame. Too bad the music wasn't all that great.

the more I hear of fetus the more I love it. it's just insane virtuosity at break neck speed. I do wish the vocals were just a tiny little bit higher in the mix to sort of hear what they are saying. It's so good that it doesn't even matter honestly. Dying Fetus are fucking killer!

+Grisu69 I seen Dying Fetus and Deeds of Flesh back in 1998, killer show! Dying Fetus had bass drops and breakdowns in their songs long before most of these present bands were conceived; well Obituary had it in the song Splattered from the World Demise LP. Dying Fetus, Suffocation and Nile were some of the top Tech Death bands out back then, in my opinion.
Pops used to love this tune. Takes me back to good times.
