Check if the "OS Type" or "Boot Mode" is set to UEFI (not Legacy). 4. Save changes and restart. 5. In Windows, open Command Prompt as Administrator and run: `bcdedit /set {current} bootmenupolicy Standard` 6. Restart again and check System Information. If issues persist, consider resetting BIOS to default or contacting Gigabyte support for further assistance.

Anyone knows how to fix my bios not showing up after I do the first part? It just says input not working. Everything works fine but when it's on bios, just my screen don't work and I can't see anything even though bios is still running
If your screen isn't displaying anything during BIOS after enabling Secure Boot, try resetting the BIOS settings. You can usually do this by removing the CMOS battery on the motherboard for a few seconds or using a jumper. Make sure to consult your motherboard manual for specific instructions.
If you're unable to enable Secure Boot on your Gigabyte motherboard, there could be a few reasons why it's not working: 1. **BIOS/UEFI Version:** Ensure that your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI firmware is up to date. Sometimes, older versions may not support Secure Boot or may have bugs preventing its proper functioning. 2. **Compatibility:** Verify that your operating system supports Secure Boot. Some older operating systems or Linux distributions may not work properly with Secure Boot enabled. 3. **Hardware Compatibility:** Check if all hardware components installed in your system are compatible with Secure Boot. Incompatibility with certain hardware components can prevent Secure Boot from functioning correctly. 4. **BIOS Settings:** Review all BIOS/UEFI settings carefully to ensure that there are no conflicting settings preventing Secure Boot from being enabled. Look for any options related to Secure Boot, and make sure they are enabled. 5. **Clear CMOS:** Sometimes resetting the BIOS settings to default by clearing the CMOS can resolve issues with Secure Boot not working. Refer to your motherboard's manual for instructions on how to clear the CMOS. If you've tried these steps and still cannot enable Secure Boot, it's possible that your motherboard model or BIOS version may not fully support this feature. In such cases, contacting Gigabyte's support or consulting their community forums may provide further assistance.
If you're still unable to enable Secure Boot despite checking the BIOS/UEFI settings and ensuring compatibility, it's possible that there may be a hardware or firmware issue with your motherboard. In such cases, contacting Gigabyte's technical support for further assistance would be the best course of action. They may be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or recommend any necessary updates or replacements to resolve the issue.

If Secure Boot is enabled in BIOS but shows as off in System Information: - Check Windows boot settings (ensure UEFI boot). - Look for firmware updates. - Try restarting and re-checking BIOS settings. - Reset BIOS to default settings if issue persists.
I followed your steps but my Valorant is still saying the error so i still can‘t play it 😢 and in my System infos there is secure boot off but I did the things you did in the video pls help
It sounds like there might be a deeper issue with your system's secure boot settings. Double-check that you followed all the steps correctly and ensure that secure boot is indeed enabled in your BIOS settings. If the problem persists, you might want to reach out to Gigabyte or Valorant's support for further assistance, as it could be a specific compatibility issue.
My MB is Gigabyte H410M S2 V2 & Intel i5 10400F 10th gen processor supported TPM 2.0 & Secure Boot. I have tried all the methods you described but everytime after reboot the CSM is enabled automatically. And secure boot option has Error messege (Disable CSM in....) 😢. Even after updating the Bios to latest.
It seems like you're encountering issues with enabling Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 on your Gigabyte H410M S2 V2 motherboard despite trying various methods, including updating the BIOS. Here are a few additional steps you can try: 1. **Clear CMOS:** Reset the motherboard's CMOS settings to default. This can sometimes resolve configuration issues. Refer to your motherboard's manual for instructions on how to clear the CMOS. 2. **BIOS Settings:** Ensure that you're following the correct steps to enable Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 in the BIOS settings. Sometimes, there may be specific settings that need to be configured in a particular order for them to work properly. 3. **Compatibility:** Verify that all hardware components, including storage devices and peripherals, are fully compatible with Secure Boot and TPM 2.0. Incompatibilities can sometimes cause issues with these features. 4. **UEFI vs. Legacy:** Make sure that your system is set to boot in UEFI mode rather than Legacy mode. Secure Boot is typically only available when booting in UEFI mode. 5. **Contact Gigabyte Support:** If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Gigabyte's technical support for further assistance. They may be able to provide specific guidance or troubleshooting steps based on your motherboard model and configuration. By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue with enabling Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 on your Gigabyte motherboard.
i did everything in the video and in the gigabyte menu it says secure boot is enabled but not active, when i check system information it still says disabled, i looked at your replies to other people and i don’t understand what to do still.
I got no error at all, but when checking my settings it still shows secure boot as Off. As soon i go back into bios its stated as on, any ideas what the Problem is?
It seems like there might be a display issue in the BIOS settings. Try updating your BIOS firmware to the latest version, as it could include fixes for such issues. Additionally, ensure that any changes you make in the BIOS are being saved properly before exiting. If the problem persists, contacting Gigabyte support for specific guidance on your motherboard model could be helpful.
1. **Re-enable CSM**: Enter BIOS, enable `CSM Support`, save, and exit. 2. **Convert Drive to GPT** in Windows: - Open Command Prompt as Administrator. - Run `mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS`. 3. **Disable CSM and Enable Secure Boot**: Enter BIOS, disable `CSM Support`, enable `Secure Boot`, save, and exit.
Yes, converting your drive from MBR to GPT is likely the solution. Here’s a short guide: 1. **Boot into Windows**. 2. **Open Command Prompt as Administrator**. 3. **Run Conversion Command**: ```shell mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS ``` 4. **Disable CSM and Enable Secure Boot**: - Enter BIOS by pressing `Delete`. - Disable `CSM Support`. - Enable `Secure Boot`. - Save and exit BIOS.
To resolve the issue, you need to convert your drive from MBR to GPT and then enable Secure Boot. Here's a concise guide: 1. **Re-enable CSM**: Enter BIOS, enable `CSM Support`, save, and exit. 2. **Convert Drive to GPT**: - Boot into Windows. - Open Command Prompt as Administrator. - Run the command: `mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS`. 3. **Disable CSM and Enable Secure Boot**: - Restart and enter BIOS. - Disable `CSM Support`. - Enable `Secure Boot`. - Save and exit BIOS.
Mi problema es que desactivo en CSM guardo los cambios y cuando vuelvo a entrar a la BIOS está activado de nuevo y eso no me deja activar el secure boot
1. Enter BIOS: Press `Delete` during boot. 2. Disable CSM: Go to `Boot` tab, set `CSM Support` to `Disabled`, save, and exit. 3. Re-enter BIOS. 4. Enable Secure Boot: Go to `Boot` tab, set `Secure Boot` to `Enabled`, save, and exit.
Hey! I did what's in this video, but when I try to enable the Secure Boot, it's says "Secure Boot can be enabled when System is in User Mode. Repeat operation after enrolling Platform Key (PK)" Would you help me out on this?
You're close! The error message is indicating that you need to enroll the Platform Key (PK) before enabling Secure Boot. Here's what to do: 1. Go back to the BIOS settings. 2. Navigate to the "Secure Boot" section. 3. Select "Platform Key (PK)" and then "Enroll PK". 4. Follow the prompts to complete the PK enrollment process. 5. Once done, try enabling Secure Boot again. If you're still having issues, ensure that your BIOS version is up-to-date and consider resetting your BIOS settings to their default values. If the problem persists, feel free to ask, and I'll help you troubleshoot further!
Its not working 😢 wen i try to enable the secure boot says " secure boot can be enabled when platform is in user mode . Repeat operation after enrolling platform key(PK) " Can someone help me please ?
It seems like you're encountering an issue enabling Secure Boot due to the platform not being in user mode or the need to enroll the Platform Key (PK). To resolve this, you might need to access your system's BIOS/UEFI settings and switch the platform mode to user mode. Then, look for an option to enroll or add the Platform Key (PK) to enable Secure Boot. This process usually involves accessing BIOS/UEFI settings during system startup.
@@rambotech_ the only thing that is related to the BIOS is the Q-Flash its says " Enter Q-Flash Utility to update BIOS ". I am scared to do somethink bad ...
I understand you're having trouble with Gigabyte Secure Boot. If it's not working as expected, here are a few steps you can try: 1. Check your motherboard's firmware (BIOS/UEFI) settings to ensure Secure Boot is enabled. 2. Make sure you're using a compatible operating system with Secure Boot, like Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10. 3. Verify that your system and bootloader are set up with UEFI mode, not Legacy/CSM. 4. Ensure that your bootable media (USB drive or HDD/SSD) is created with UEFI in mind. If you've tried these steps and are still facing issues, providing more details about the problem can help in diagnosing and providing further assistance.
To determine whether the Gigabyte H410M-H-V2 motherboard supports Secure Boot, please refer to the motherboard's user manual or visit Gigabyte's official website for detailed specifications. Secure Boot support can vary between motherboard models, so it's essential to check the specific documentation for your motherboard.
It sounds like there might be a discrepancy between what your system information is reporting and what you're actually observing. If Secure Boot is enabled and your system is functioning properly without any need for adjustment, it's likely that everything is in order. Sometimes system information tools may not accurately reflect real-time changes.
Im getting this error when trying to enable secure boot (the other one was defaulted off) “Platform in Setup Mode! Secure Boot can be enabled when Platform is in User Mode. Repeat operation after enrolling Platform Key(PK)”
To enable Secure Boot on your Gigabyte motherboard, you need to enroll a Platform Key (PK) while the platform is in "User Mode." This resolves the "Platform in Setup Mode" error.
Try setting Secure Boot to "Custom" or "Windows UEFI mode" in BIOS, then save and exit. If that doesn't work, disable Secure Boot, boot into Windows, and re-enable it. This should allow Windows to boot normally.
I'm glad to hear that you were able to enable Gigabyte Secure Boot in your BIOS! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
If you've upgraded your BIOS and still can't find the "CSM support" option: 1. Check your motherboard manual or manufacturer's website for CSM support information. 2. Look for alternative settings like "Legacy Boot" or "Legacy Support". 3. Contact the manufacturer's support for further assistance or potential BIOS modifications. Some motherboards may not have CSM support due to UEFI firmware design or manufacturer decisions.
Hello, I enabled secure boot once, but when I reset the bios settings, it turns into csm, and when I switch to windows, secure boot appears to be active. When I go back to bios, it changes. When you activate secure boot once, does it automatically change from csm to secure boot?
It sounds like there might be a setting in your BIOS that automatically switches between CSM (Compatibility Support Module) and Secure Boot based on the operating system boot mode. Some BIOS settings have options to prioritize one boot mode over another. I recommend checking your BIOS settings again to see if there's an option related to boot mode priority or automatic switching between CSM and Secure Boot. If you're unsure, consulting the user manual for your Gigabyte motherboard or reaching out to Gigabyte support could provide more clarity.
@@rambotech_ First of all, thank you for your reply. We are using the same motherboard. You said that there seems to be a setting that switches between CSM and secure boot. Do you know if 520mk v2 is also available? Can you check it for me? I don't really understand it, thank you.
If Secure Boot is enabled in BIOS but Windows reports it's not: 1. Ensure Windows is installed in UEFI mode. 2. Double-check BIOS settings for Secure Boot. 3. Save changes and restart. 4. Run `msinfo32` in Windows to confirm Secure Boot state.
If you are unable to turn on Secure Boot and are encountering a CSM support error, try the following: 1. Update your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI firmware. 2. Clear the CMOS to reset motherboard settings. 3. Disable the Compatibility Support Module (CSM) in the BIOS/UEFI settings. 4. Ensure hardware and operating system compatibility with Secure Boot.

Hey bro! For the first step after disabling CSM and then going to enable Secure Boot, i didnt get the same error as you did, shall i just save and exit then? Or is something wrong if it didnt show an error
If you didn't encounter an error after enabling Secure Boot and you've already disabled CSM, you can proceed to save and exit. It's a good sign that there were no errors, indicating that your system is compatible with Secure Boot.

Hello brother. could you help me because in the bios everything works correctly but once my computer restarts in the system information application nothing changes the security is always deactivated.
It sounds like Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS, but it's not reflecting in the System Information app after restarting. Try the following:
1. Ensure Secure Boot is enabled in BIOS and save changes.
2. Restart and enter BIOS again to confirm Secure Boot is still enabled.
3. Check if the "OS Type" or "Boot Mode" is set to UEFI (not Legacy).
4. Save changes and restart.
5. In Windows, open Command Prompt as Administrator and run: `bcdedit /set {current} bootmenupolicy Standard`

Make sure to consult your motherboard manual for specific instructions.

i still have the secure boot state as off idk why its not working

If you're unable to enable Secure Boot on your Gigabyte motherboard, there could be a few reasons why it's not working:

Here are a few additional steps you can try:

It sounds like you're trying to enable Gigabyte Secure Boot. Have you encountered any specific issues or error messages while trying to do so?
Hey! I did what's in this video, but when I try to enable the Secure Boot, it's says "Secure Boot can be enabled when System is in User Mode. Repeat operation after enrolling Platform Key (PK)"
Would you help me out on this?
You're close! The error message is indicating that you need to enroll the Platform Key (PK) before enabling Secure Boot. Here's what to do:

Repeat operation after enrolling platform key(PK) "
Can someone help me please ?
It annoys me and it doesn't work so it doesn't work I think someone can help me?
I understand you're having trouble with Gigabyte Secure Boot. If it's not working as expected, here are a few steps you can try:
Does this support the Gigabyte H410M-H-V2 motherboard?
To determine whether the Gigabyte H410M-H-V2 motherboard supports Secure Boot, please refer to the motherboard's user manual or visit Gigabyte's official website for detailed specifications. Secure Boot support can vary between motherboard models, so it's essential to check the specific documentation for your motherboard.
In my system information it is disabled, but when I check it it is just enabled and I dind't need to change entthing everything was correct...
It sounds like there might be a discrepancy between what your system information is reporting and what you're actually observing. If Secure Boot is enabled and your system is functioning properly without any need for adjustment, it's likely that everything is in order. Sometimes system information tools may not accurately reflect real-time changes.

“Platform in Setup Mode! Secure Boot can be enabled when Platform is in User Mode. Repeat operation after enrolling Platform Key(PK)”

I'm glad to hear that you were able to enable Gigabyte Secure Boot in your BIOS! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
What if i have already upgraded my BIOS and i still cant have ,,CSM support” option?
If you've upgraded your BIOS and still can't find the "CSM support" option:
In BIOS is enable. But in system information still it say secure boot state is off. What to do 😢
Try restarting your system after enabling Secure Boot in BIOS. If the issue persists, check the boot mode (ensure it's UEFI) and boot order.
