Knowing it is an RS/SS ABSOLUTELY changes the value of the car...even without docs...If I am buying a car like this...I WILL DEFINITELY pay more money for it...There are still people out there who value owning a "real" RS/SS.
I commend that gentleman for being honest and saying he's never gonna fix the RR. Most ppl would swear they are "gonna start on it next year" 🤣🤣🤣. I hope somebody gives him a good price for the car.
I had a 71 Satellite Sebring in B5 blue, full black vinyl top, drove it daily. Had to sell her because life happened. I named her Claire, sure do miss her. If I could afford that Roadrunner, I'd definitely make an offer. I know whoever buys her will give her the love she deserves.
Thank you so much for the Help Identifying this Camaro! Nate is my Cousin. Back in the day My Dad painted this car! I grew up around this car, Jeff and My Dad were best friends. It had been questioned by many its validity for years, I may have had my doubts at times but after cleaning the literal crap out of it, We started to really get in there and see it wasn't a clone. I've climbed through barns and scaled walls for parts for this car. Thanks again, Amazing channel, I smashed that 👍🏻 and subscribe immediately last night.
I really enjoy the stories of the cars. I think they should always stay with the vehicle. My 53 gmc truck was my father's he got it in payment for building a steel building for someone. He gave it to me for my 18th birthday. That was 32 years ago. She still runs like new.
No, do not "LS Swap" the world. Make it old school Chevrolet small block as it was originally. 1971 Roadrunner with the VIN for the win: R for Satellite/Belvedere line, M for Medium price class, 23 for two door hardtop, N for 383 CID V8 with four barrel, high performance, 1 for 1971 model year, R for Windsor Ontario Canada assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Windsor plant opened in 1928 and still operates today. With the tag you can (barely) brag: N41 for dual exhaust, R11 for AM radio, 2 watts, V6W for White longitudinal stripes, END for end of sales codes, B5 for True Blue exterior paint, U for USA specification vehicle, 26 for 26" radiator, E65 for 383 CID V8 with four barrel, high performance, approximately 300 HP, D21 for four speed manual transmission, J45 for hood tie down pins, among other codes. You were too far away from the tag to read the rest.
Man I’d put this back to stock because even Rs ss 350 cars are now getting up there in value. The yellow on yellow hounds tooth is very rare. That 71’ car is awesome as well.
Worth more with the proper SBC than the imitation one. Those cars are best with the small block. The truck engine is,,, well a truck engine! Interesting research on the car. I have a nice warm shed to work on the Roadrunner. Pity I am in Australia!
The funny thing is, the guy was actually considering $3000 for the roadrunner. My God… There are people out there that will pay $10,000 or $15,000 cash right now…
Ps… do you think, as all the early mopars have been swallowed up, that my 73 roadrunner is an upcoming collectible? It’s a 440… auto, originally a 400 but have paperwork showing a warranty swap engine, date coded 75. Was bronze, now plum crazy with photos before and after . Lots of paperwork, including build sheet. I paid 32 k Australian dollers 9 years ago. Very good shape, running, registerd , still is. Beautiful looking car. Solid as. What’s your opinion young man? And yes, all tags, body stamps are correct. Regards, David, Australia. 🙌👍
The 71 RR is very restorable. Lots of unknowns with it and the price if entry will be high. Have to see those floors and if the engine turns over. Its still going to be expensive if he has a shrewd negotiator in his corner.
this was awesome! thanks for the tagalong! wicked fun seeing different places and the machine shop was cool. BTW, did I hear you say something about a Yenko and in Maine? 🤔
Hey !!! That road runner is worth way way more then $3000 !!!! I'm interested!!!! Of course for way more then that !!! Please messe me back if even we codont make s deal I'm more then happy to help give you guys a correct value of that csr !!!!!
Did the car sell yet and how much did the 😊Don want for his car? I would be interested in buying it if its still available? Tell Don it will stay blue and would be restored and
I know I'm beating a dead horse. But Boomers really covered natural wood floors and let their cars rust to death. Its just crazy to think how these care are treasured an they got such a poor treatment. Sure, back then when you could buy them brand new they weren't "collectible" but its still something you should have cared for. It's just so disappointing.
Backyard; I’d have to talk to him but my little brother has a perfect 68 Roadrunner and 69 DTO in his garage. They are not “barn finds” per-say but both were made perfect trying to use all original factory parts… So many people are looking for original “Superbee” cars and I believe 1970 was their lowest production year. That cars got to be worth a mint!
Estate Lawyer: “Your long lost great uncle has left you an X eleven car.” Me: “Really?? Awesome! Is it an SS, or maybe even a COPO???” Estate Lawyer: “Huh?? It’s a Citation, buddy. You gonna come pick it up or what?!”
If you want to do another good Mopar video...... You should come down to Newport News, Virginia and check out the 1969 Super Bee that's been parked inside of "Bobby Burchers electrical" company garage since 1978! The car is literally like brand new! Still got keystone mags with bias ply tires, hijacker air shocks, and a bumper sticker that reads "Suffolk Raceway.....Quarter mile concrete style"! 😉👍
Just want to compliment you on your channel. The amount of information is off the charts. I go into nerd overload watching this stuff . Thanks and be safe out there 😎
That looks like my Plymouth 383 ,4 speed, sure grip, big brakes ,thats the same car I ordered mine in 1970, sold it in 71 cause some dumb ass had to get married,, Wish I could find another one
Back in 78 I wanted to buy a 69 Z but it was know around town by the Police so my dad wouldnt let me get it. Same exterior color combo as this one. Yellow with Black vinvl top but with black interior. Beautiful car. Wanted $2000 for it (not a mark on it) What I wouldnt give...
I’m so glad a young man like yourself is out there keeping the history alive, because it does seem most kids today don’t see the history and love behind these cars. And my son has ZERO interest in cars like I do ….. wonder if he’s really the mailman’s kid !!😂🤣 My stepdad had a buddy I’m pretty sure he still had his original 69 RS/SS car , my buddy bought a 68 restored mod .
I wasn't expecting to see a 77 Dodge Aspen R/T ! I used to have a 77 it was black with gold graphics 360 2bbl 3spd 727 t-flite suregrip, buckets , console shift, white interior. I currently own a 1980 Aspen R/T a 79 Aspen R/T. I sure was diggin that blue 71 Road Runner it was a really cool barn find!
Base 71 Roadrunner was about mid 3’s new and over 14K were built. This things been sitting 49 yrs. After using it for 4yrs? If the engine isn’t seized a compression check is in order, but I’d be suspicious sitting that long. How’s the body/frame even when garaged can rust.
If Parker was less honest he would have shut the camera off as soon as the guy said someone was willing to give 3k for the car and told him he would give him 4k. LOL. It's hard to believe in 2024 there are still cars like this squirrelled away and the owner doesn't know how much they've increased in value since 1975. You don't really see that in the age of the internet and Barrett - Jackson. Most people think their cars are worth way MORE than what they really are.
Very nice Roadrunner!! I didn't think for a second it would be a 4 gear!! When he opened the passenger side door and I saw the pistol grip shifter I literally heard a cash register going wild!!!
Parker, what an awesome video. Grass roots, old style, a couple classic muscle cars, down to earth owners, great information and no modern reality TV crap. Keep up the great work.
I agree with the restoration options for the RS/SS, but before restoring that RR, I would love to see it just cleaned up and running, that bench seat with pistol grip is definitely rare, if factory. 👍
That 71 Road Runner is amazing, what a barnfind !
That 71 4 speed B5 blue road runner is my dream car
From what was shown - it looks like a rare original survivor car - you should put in a bid!
Yep, get some money together and get ahold of him asap. That car is in amazing shape. Good luck. !
Where's the bid info for the 71
Wheres the bid info contact for the 71
@@bernierezny8156 Maybe contact the video creator about the car - his email address is in his youtube channel description.

@@Sir.Veza_truth , leave that to the non- RS/SS Camaros.
I would LOVE to see this car cleaned-up and restored !!!!

the camaro would look cool being yellow, yellow and black top. the 71 Plymouth is also a nice find. blue blue 4-speed....with a bench seat!
I'm starting to think that Parker knows a little bit about the first generation Camaros… 😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
Great video, your knowledge is imense 5:20
Don't let him get taken advantage of !!!! He seems like good guy !!!!!
i called the dude t make sure, sounds like mopars 5150 may come look and they pay fair prices, plus they know now its worth some serious coin

Another nice video. Thank you for sharing
Mopar 5150 needs to stop by. Theyll pay the best price and get it back on the road. I enjoyed the video Parker
They're a dealer and wouldn't pay the best price. Their asking prices are sky high
im not a big muscle car person( even though I like them and learning about them), just a blanket car person, but god I love these videos
Ure a very knowledgeable young man. Wish you lived in Australia 🙌🙌….. u could eyeball my 73 roadrunner. Keep up the great work ! 👏👏👏
I guess I'm backwards because I would love a yellow muscle car. Yellow with black stripes is a sweet look.
Thanks

Wonder if the Mopars 5150 guys would be interested in that roadrunner??
Mopar 5150 will buy that asap. I would too for the right price
They jack the price up all the time
I hope that the car will get restored to its former glory ..
You should get the roadrunner running running for him that would be cool

My Aunt had a Road Runner with the 383, identical! It was Orange, she traded it for a 85 Dodge Ram!!!!!!!!
I’d say $15k seems reasonable in the current condition
Hello,, I'm interested in the 1971 plymouth roadrunner.
this was awesome! thanks for the tagalong! wicked fun seeing different places and the machine shop was cool. BTW, did I hear you say something about a Yenko and in Maine? 🤔
Road Runner is worth at least $20k. Probably more actually.

A lot of people are interested in the Road Runner
Painted yellow with a black stripes
Seen a old woman driving a rs ss convertible maroon with white interior at my local legion also 350 4 speed
Not the coolest of models, but they deserve a resto all day long.😎
For cars that people couldnt really afford back then they really abused these muscle cars in a short period of time.
I would love to get into contact with the roadrunner owner ,my dad had a 71 roadrunner back in the 80s, he wrecked it, and has been wanting one since
Yeee Yeee 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Who ever said 3 should just asked for free
This young man always impresses me with his extensive knowledge of old cars.
