ideas of what family guy items to add to your animated office: rupert, herbet's walking frame and maybe even a microphone (that can be for trishia takanawa)
@@charlielevick We thought about Rupert but it just looked like an ordinary bear so swapped it out for Cartmans stuffed frog. Really struggled to think of anything iconic for Family Guy
I miss the old Bryan who was the voice of reason of the family and genuinally was looking for real love. I hope we get to see that return to form some day.
Would be nice, but i think a true voice of reason has died, out be it family guy, simpsons or southpark. Made me feel like every creative spark dies out or just becomes revenue for hollywood
@@sebastianmallon343 Honestly, I think creative people always need to be sinking their teeth into new projects, meaning they can't continute series in perpituity without losing the spark. That means that either the creatives bounce for new endeavours (like Seth McFarlane did since he doesn't write for it anymore) or they are forced on until they don't care anymore. Frankly, it'd be nice if both Hollywood and audiences came to an agreement that ending something on a high is not a terrible thing. Yes, it's sad that a show you like may end, but that sweet, sweet ending is so much better than an slow, gruesome death.
I like the fake angle at 1st due to so many artist have a superficial side but they double down and triple down. He lost his soul and depth in the process. Quagmire and Brian have been great but they need to bring back classic authentic Brian. You can tell the American dad writers left after season 4. The 1st 3 seasons may be more random but the characters had so much more depth except Peter and Quagmire
I can never understand why fans applaud Quagmire for laying into Brian when he himself is guilty of everything he criticized Brian over and more. Him being honest about being a scumbag doesn’t make him any better, and I’d even argue that it makes him worse since he knows that what he’s doing is wrong but he still does them anyway. He’s honest about SA-ing women, he’s honest about grooming girls including his best friend’s daughter, and he’s honest about having countless children he doesn’t know about, doesn’t take responsibility for, or straight up abandoned. A whole lot of hypocrisy and unearned self-righteousness on Quagmire’s end.
He went in so hard about Brian being in love with Louise when he himself is also very much so in love with Louise. Not to mention how he slept with Cleveland's first wife.
I'd say Quagmire has certainly had more one night stands, but Brian has had more official girlfriends. Maybe I'll look at Quagmires dating history next if this video does well
I still think that of all the relationships Brian has ever had, it was Pearl Burton that was the most meaningful, even though she wasn't necessarily a "girlfriend" per se.
I'm still kinda salty about the Flanderization of Brian. He really was an excellent character, both a villain and a saint, with so many shades in between. Now he's a flat, 2 dimensional douche. It's insulting. But, great job, team! You should add a stuffed chicken for your animated desk.
I don't think is aciddental the most ''liberal'' character became a huge hypocrite in a fox animation, but people swear the aniamtions don't get mixed with fo view even whn w see lisa defending some right ideas in the alter simpsons seasons...
Really? I find him insufferably self righteous, deluded, pretentious, overbearing, hypocritical, morally judge mental while being morally bankrupt, he is the animated avatar of Seth McFarlane himself. The dress downs he got from his X’s, Stewie, and Quagmire are dead on.
One reason I hated the quagmire brian feud was he mentions that he hits on Lois but Glen did that all the time as well. He has wanted to sleep with Lois so many times. And he even slept with bonnie when he told joe he was a virgin. He is the last person who should be calling Brian out for being a bad friend.
Right? And when Quagmire said how's that son of yours????....... Bro has numerous kids around the world he didn't even know about.... He was even about to sleep with one of his kids 🤦♂.....
@@filmcritic371 and he even says he'll see one of his kids again in 18 years. Like bro that's disgusting as hell. Quagmire is honestly the worst person in family guy, and makes Brian look like a sound guy. Quagmire has took advantage of tied up teenagers, has a office space in the girls bathroom to spy on them. Has kidnapped a kid, has multiple women held hostage, and when they escape, he has trackers on them. He's slept with a body And it's funny how quagmire calls Brian a bad friend, but he tried to sleep with meg despite peter telling him not too
Quagmire's point was that Brain hit on Lois even though Peter saved him from living on the streets and certain death and pays for his food yet he still tries to sleep with Lois. That's the problem Brain owes Peter his life Quagmire doesn't, Quagmire may be no saint as he says in his rant but he still has some standards when it comes to who he stabs in the back at least at that point in the show.
Still a nitpick of mine how the show made jokes on Rita being old, despite being 50, just a few years older than Peter and Lois, and I think Brian in dog years, he’s he’s around her age. And with Seth now in his 50s, the gags doesn’t work even more for me.
Jillian is a good girlfriend if you can get over the fact that it's like talking to a toddler. But I wouldn't want to marry her for fear that my kids might turn out just as stupid.
I think some people are overdramatic when they say Brian dating Jillian started the downfall of his character, it was a little hiccup, but I think he was still a good character.
It's bad writing. Ever since Brian csme back after his death, he has done terrible things. The writers knew that people where hating on "new" brian and decided to use one of tge few characters worse than him as the audience's mouth piece. It's kind of fucked up, the guy that is supposed to say what the fans are saying is also a child rapist.
Because quagmire ,despite his nasty behaviors is not a hypocrite, hes aware hes a terrible womanizer but brian insists he himself is a good person and shit Its mainly to point out that brian already thinks less of quagmire because he thinks they arent alike at all. So when the person you have the lowest opinion of absolutely shits on you, well thats just embarrassing 😅
@@greyblaspheme it’s not about being a hypocrite or womanizer, he’s a pedo and forces woman to have sex with him, and that’s far worse than being a hypocrite
@@sooners2037 Nope. Dogs aging 7 years for every 1 human year was proven to be inaccurate. It's more like 5.5 years, and 8 times 5.5 equals 44. 🤓🧮 But then again, it's a cartoon, so...yeah, screw it, 56! 😆😆😆😆😆
Someone should hire a scriptwriter who actually cares about Brian's development and give him layers again. Like, I keep imagining an episode where he somehow watch how he used to be and feels disgusted about what he is now Brian: "I'm just so disgusted, Stewie... I used to be actually understanding of people's situations. I cared about whatever I read, more than just memorize quotes or scenes. I wanted to be a voice of reason and help the family with whatever they needed. Now all I do everyday of my life is looking for a new girl to sleep with and hate me afterwards, picking fights with Quagmire, brag about my car... It's so f#$@ pathetic, I'M NOT EVEN A TRUE ATHEIST!" Stewie: "Whoa... okay, i'll stay for the ride."
@@FinnManusiathey should make a therapy episode for every family member like how they did stewie. I wouldn’t mind if they started with Brian but I hope they do Meg first
Meg needs it more. Letting Lacey Chabert get away for a defender of the Cosbying of women by D@nn¥ M@$+3r50n was a mistake the show has been paying for ever since creatively. It's a symbiotic relationship between actor and character. They need to do whatever Sherman Hemsley did to get the original Lionel back on *The Jeffersons.* #BringBackTheOriginalMeg
For a Family Guy item, maybe Stevie's time travel recall pad? You could also consider Rupert, a can of Pawtucket Patriot ale, a Petoria flag or Meg's hat.
Family guy trinket ideas: Stewie’s bear Rupert or his octopus that appears on the bookshelf in his room but rarely mentioned Chris’s Machoke Pokemon poster Brian’s book faster than the speed of love
Did that ever get a movie or TV adaptation? They should seriously do an episode about Brian seeing the movie/TV version of his work and hating it after getting shut out of the adaptation process. He offers to give the money they paid him for the rights back if they promise to destroy the bastardized version of it. They refuse, so he spends half of it on booze and the other half he donates to a hospital who renames a liver transplant center after him. But the twist ending is, the movie is actually better than the book and becomes a box office hit and a multiple Oscar winner, including best adapted screenplay. Brian bitterly watches the ceremony, hoping somebody from the movie will at least thank him if they win, but nobody does. Even the Griffins admit they like the movie better along with everyone on Spooner Street.
Something that has always bugged me is making fun of the 50 year old woman and giving her so many health problems that much older people have. I'm not saying that it's not possible, but like come on, I know so many people in their 60s and 70s who are completely mobile and healthy
My husband was watching this episode the other day and I was like how old is this woman, 70? He said no, 50. I was like wtf? Does Seth McFarlane think all women over 40 are geriatric nursing home patients?
@@angelaferrara9969in fairness, Seth hasn’t written anything for family guy in AGES. It’s just lazy writing from people he employs. Granted, he puts his name on it. 🤷♀️
34:43 Honestly if I had to choose who Brian should’ve been with permanently I would have him be with Ellie. (you know another talking dog) I can easily come with an alternate ending to the episode she appeared in. My version: The episode plays out exactly the same up until the 3rd act but my change would be just before Brian breeds with Ellie her owner angrily barges into the room disapproving of Ellie being with Brian (despite him winning the dog show) Ellie’s owner having high standards then grabs her and walks off with her and having Brian being held down preventing him to help, Brian calls out in desperation and sadness then Ellie overcome by her new found love for Brian bites her owner and growls resulting in her being disowned by her owner she runs off her then now ex-owner lets Brian go saying to him “Both of you rotten mongrels deserve each other” Brian runs off to comfort an upset Ellie where he then suggests she live with him and the Griffin family, Ellie happily accepts and then the scene transitions to the Griffin house with Ellie now there being a member of the family. And then a few seasons later you can have an episode where they get married and later have puppies. Don’t worry I’m not holding on to hope that the writers might reintroduce Ellie because they have to reset everything back to normal at the end of each episode but this is my idea let me know what you all think.
Or maybe she's had the pups and is now free to live her life or decides pimp owner ain't sh1t so kk eaves to find herself and remeets Brian and they get together. A lot of gag about deadbeat parents can be thrown in for both of them so pretty on theme with FG's all characters suck charade.
Season 1 Brian: "I want the opportunity to raise my puppies" and wants a relationship. Season 6 Brian after finding out he has a son: "I couldn't get out of there fast enough." Pretending to be rich to date a cashier.
The TV series Son ep was funny because I know film TV business people who either act like Brian. The episode has some funny insight on modern show biz stuff.
The problem with Brian and his love life is that His ego and selfishness. He uses and takes advantage of hot women, his charisma and personality are above average which puts women under spells. The problem is when gets them and sleeps with them he kinda treats them like trash like they are expendable. He just rubs the girls wrong after he gets them interested. He can never finish the job and be a decent boyfriend, he just likes the chase
For FG related items in the background by character, you could do: •Peter - the Peterioa flag, a toy of the Peter-chopter or tank, a ban/bottle of Tom Peckett, or a record of Surfin' Bird. •Lois - not sure really 😅 •Brain - The Speed of Love book, his collar, a dry martini dog toy, or a picture of his author portrait. •Meg - a copy of her original birth certificate with MegaTron on it, her hat, her dairy, and •Chris - an Evil Monkey plushie or figurine, a magazine cover of Chrisabelle, a small print of one of his artworks, or his fishtank but mini. •Stewie - a toy raygun, time compastor, Rupert, or a napkin with his blueprints on it for a time machine. For all of the family, you could do a mug with the FG logo with the tv and then have it filled with pencils and cap them with character toppers on the erasers of each family member's head, small family portrait, or do a small mousepad of them too.
Idk, I think Pearl was his true love, as brief as that was. She's the one I think he had a meaningful connection with and if he found another like her, I think that'd suit him better than someone like Julienne. I mean, she's super sweet and lovely, but I just think Pearl and his connection was better. She's great for knowing her self-worth though. Respect to her.
I really feel like Brian's true love -- in my opinion-- was Jillian. She was perfect for him, and also kind of too good for him at the same time. Brian Griffin has sadly become one of the strongest examples I can find in recent memory of character being so mistreated by the writers. Brian has been flanderized and degraded into a character that honestly isn't all that likeable. I was rooting for Season 2 Brian to find love, but Brian in the recent years kind of deserves to be alone.
Quagmire is a HUGE hypocrite He spent the whole series lusting after Lois & did try to sleep with her himself so he had a lot of nerve "calling out" Brian
Don’t forget Meg. He almost got with Meg to where Peter had to legit put him and Meg in their places. Brian’s still a better than Quagmire at the end of the day. He just wanted someone to be mad at. Quagmire is old and ALONE. Brian has everything Quagmire wishes HE had
They should try a spin off again with the Vinnie and Jerome show. A black man with an Italian dog sounds like the sort of thing that you would think Seth MacFarlane would want to turn into a show. That would keep the main show from having to sacrifice any of the established core supporting characters.
Honestly I wish family guy kept the heart in its comedy, like when Lois lets Brian down nicely, saying she values their friendship, I legit cry everytime because we see Lois does care about Brian, and Brian does realise he was wrong for wanting to act on these feelings (some additional words, I wanted to say having attraction to people is ok, but acting on it when they don’t feel the same and/or with someone else already is wrong) Edit: Brian wallows and Peter swallows is still probably close to if not actually my favourite, it again shows Brian has a genuine heart, he knows that she genuinely has a hidden grace inside her and he helps her to get that out, the simulated life together just breaks me, seeing how he cries as she drifts away, I just couldn’t breathe 😅
I think that we can all relate to Brian in a lot of ways especially when it comes to finding true love. I believe that Jillian WAS his true love, its a shame that they will never be together, i really hope that he finds love soon
I’ll never forgive Seth from making Brian be the sarcastic voice of reason in the earlier seasons to just a completely douchey mess in the newest seasons. It’s such a shame! Why the change?

I get why people are Team Jillian- she was sweet, caring, attractive; but here's my issue- Jillian deserved so much better. Brian treated her like crap, hiding her from the family, being constantly embarrassed by her, and belittling her. Brian simultaneously liked how much smarter he was than her (and the belief that this made him better than her), and also believed he 'deserved' someone 'better' than her (making no attempts to hide this fact from her or everyone around them either). He only actually gave a shit when she stood up for herself and moved on- which is not love. So yeah, I think any relationship this toxic can't possibly be meant to be. They just weren't compatible. Personally, I think Brian belongs with Ida. They seemed to have the most in common and the most wholesome and domestic relationship, despite its rocky beginnings. He stands up for Ida in a way he rarely does in his other relationships, and actually seems content to live a normal, comfortable life with her- when all his other relationships are flash in the pan love affairs, purely sex, or otherwise greatly mismatched. Literally the only reason they ended things was because Ida hated how the relationship affected Quagmire, and prioritised her relationship with her son, over her romantic relationship with Brian. I'd his relationship with Pearl is up there too, though the age discrepancy was pretty icky- and sadly meant they never really had a future. I think that's another reason I am Team Ida- Brian seems to have a knack for dating age inappropriate people, either way too young for him, or occasionally too old. But characters like Ida and Rita seem a much better fit in that sense.
Honestly, I agree with you. I'm hoping that they could rekindle their relationship now that Brian and Quagmire don't completely hate each other. Though, I'm not expecting Family Guy to actually do it. They love their continuity too much
5:27 They’re pretty much on equal in terms of being fathers. Brian: barely sees his son as stated by Quagmire Quagmire: when looking for Peter in a season 8 (nvm 7) episode, he leaves each of his children and tweets. I guess
i dont understand why quagmire thought he had the right to speak like that on brian when he himself has and does do worse and dated just as many girls has brian maybe even more. like when he calls brian a deadbeat father like he doesnt have 8 kids himself, he talks about how he's a bad friend to peter or whatever like quagmire doesnt have his share of bad moments with peter as well as him trying to sleep with meg, peters underage daughter and lois. etc etc i find it silly goose.
Quagmire would be crazy to think that Brian is worse. To start off Quagmire was sniffing after Meg when she was a minor, knew her when she was younger and is his best friend's daughter. He slept with Bonnie and Loretta while also still sniffing after Lois. Drugs women from the bar then they wake up in a taxi after he's done, tagged the Asian women who escaped his house, and entraps women inside his home that he later experienced when he became a woman for an episode. Hangs out in the girls bathrooms for "reports," gave Meg r00fies for Chris, and it was implied he took advantage of the cheerleader Stewie replaced. These are just on the top of my head. Brian is a womanizer and a jerk but he's nowhere near Quagmire. He's more like a stereotypical frat boy meanwhile Quagmire is a criminal but fans let Quagmire off for his actions. The literal reincarnation of Jack the ripper (show wise anyways).
YO WAIT what if you added Rupert to your desk for a Family Guy object, I feel like Stewie always having him around and the sheer amount of content focused on their relationship has made him iconic enough to qualify for it
Honestly think it was Pearl. Age thing isn't something that matters, not in this case as they're both adults. Pearl had so much potential, and if she hadn't died that future seems very feasible. She could hold an intelligent conversation, they had a lot of similar interests and they were on equal footing intellectually. Whereas with Jilian, there was an obvious disparity between things they could actually share that had sustenance simply because she was a few french fries short and didn't have much in the way of shared hobbies that could have kept Brian invested in the long run. I just couldn't visualize him still being into her once she got old and her looks faded. She was kind and sweet yes, but then again so was Pearl once she opened up.
They’re just like “oh dear god what happened to us when did you become a such sick twisted monster?” “And when did you become a big pretentious bore who would get married to his own voice?”
Saying it's quagmire's fault Ida and Brian broke up is a complete misrepresentation of the situation. It takes away the blame Brian has for the awful things he's done in the past that would make ANYONE in the real world do the same with their loved one. You can't be a horrible person all your life then say its everyone else's fault they don't like you and Don want you in their lives. Yes you could say Ida is grown and can make that decision for herself but when they first get together she's in a huge point of transition in her life and is being shown attention for the person she wants to be that's not the time to make a decision like who's your soul mate. When they get together later on she may know more and be more settled yes but Brian is still HER first and very biased IMO.
13:26 I still say Jillian was the one Brian NEVER should've blown it with! She's my favorite and the only one he's been with for more than just one episode.
Shame on Peter and Lois for humiliating Rita cause of her age. They should know that age is just a lousy pathetic excuse for a number. It's nonsense. They forgot that they're old and ancient themselves. Their love lives are miserable enough already. The Griffins are a horrible couple! They have no shame and sympathy whatsoever. I'm with Meg on this one. Peter and Lois are horrible irresponsible parents.
If you want to throw in more Family Guy rep, you could maybe throw in Rupert as a plush on the desk, or maybe Peter's small record player for Surfin' Bird with the News of the World vinyl that Stewie is afraid of next to it.
I watched your GamerSupp ad and was surprised to see clips of IRL you and even more surprised to find out your animated version is actually super spot on. Good for you for not exaggerating anything.
The only girlfriends I liked with him were Pearl, Julian, Rita, and Ida With Pearl, it mostly happened at the end of the episode, but he was honestly really sweet with her on her death bed. I still think it was one of the sweetest episodes to date and shows Brain at his best. With Julian, yeah, it started to show flaws with him, but he wasn't at the stage of being as bad as he is now. I think their relationship was super sweet in the beginning and yeah, he wasn't ready to make it serious at that time, but he was like pressured into doing so and ultimately, because of Stewie, it failed. with Rita, the whole episode bashed agism, Rita wasn't a bad girlfriend for Brian, I mean, he's practically as old as her in dog years, but I hated Lois and Peter that episode, because lets be honest, they aren't that far from 50 with Peter being 45 and Lois being 43. But sadly, she was introduced when Brain was getting to be at his worst with his love interests. with Ida, I didn't like how transphobic the introduction episode of hers was and I didn't think they had any flaws when they were dating, it was just outside influences aka Quagmire being a freaking brat causing it to fail.
Honestly, I don't think Quagmire was being completely unreasonable, considering Brian was treating him like a child and acting like his parent, possibly to get under his skin. I would have an issue with that too. Plus, I highly doubt anyone would want their enemy dating their parent.
You have to take into account that Idas first episode was in 2008. Transgenderism wasn't seen the same way it is now. Even in the episode where Ida and Brian get back together, They mention that. Peter saying "Things that were gross 5 years ago are now heroic."
"Few french fries short of a happy meal" was hilarious; Personally I never considered Seabreeze as Brian's girlfriend b/c he wasn't actively interested in her (IMO, he was more entuned with his animal side of needing mate or however you want to word it) but more so being a good father to the puppies
You could put Rupert on the shelf? That’s probably the most iconic family guy item, or maybe a beer can of the beer from the show. Love this video and have been looking forward to it for weeks now btw. Was truely one of your best vids yet!
Don’t forget with Lois, when they did the brain swap he slept with her in Peter’s body. He took advantage so he could bang them. Also, for family guy items for your background, you could add: Rupert teddy bear, a bottle of Pawtucket Pat, a mini toy version of the Peter-copter
@@Here_is_Waldo Season 16 episode 17 “Switch the Flip”. Everyone swaps bodies, putting Stewie in Peter’s body while he & Lois go on a couples retreat. She wants to bang, so the race is on so Stewie doesn’t sleep with her in Peter’s body. At the last second it looks like everyone is back to normal, to reveal Brain was in Peter’s body when Lois banged him.
And Quagmire would've done this and worse. Knowing he's trash still doesn't make him the right character to call Brian out and if someone is going to call out Brian then Quagmire is long overdue. Even when he had a woman version of himself treat him similar to how he disrespects his partners he still didn't learn his lesson. I wished people would stop giving Quagmire a pass when he and Brian both should be held to a similar standard but obvious Quagmire is worse since Brian isn't out there drugging, tagging or entrapping women like they're cattle.
Maybe you can add Rupert, sit him next to your books, or have Stewies return portal pad on the desk. Theres also an Adam We Lite Brite, or a Petercopter figure.
0:47 throughout the show there are lots and lots of times when they joke about Brian loving Lois Griffin. But before this episode he showed literally no affection for Lois, not even in the episode you had to wait till the end. The first two times he peed on the carpet was off camera but the third time it was just a normal day in the supermarket nothing really happened with Lois beforehand, and when he saw the therapist, dr.Kaplan advised he go and see the world, which he did, and guess what. HE STOPPED PEEING ON THE CARPET. He only went back because Stewie framed him for peeing on the carpet (to get back at him for doing the same earlier in the episode). But the worst part was that he didn’t even have a realization that he was in love with Lois, no flashback to their times together, no looking in her eyes and realizing that he was in love with her, not even just seeing he *likes* her. It was someone else who made the decision for him. 18:18 with Jillian he really only dated her for 2 reasons: she had the hottest bod and her stupidity made Brian’s ego feel great, he never wanted a future with her and is pissed at Peter for saying she should give him an ultimatum of them moving in. And by the end of the episode she finds out that he never wanted anything serious in the first place and dumps his ass. So Brian tries to get her back, but it’s too late. In the episode ‘we love you Conrad’ him finding out that Jillian is getting married and that he’s not invited really takes a toll on his ego. And when he finds out Lauren is FAR smarter than him, he says “I feel like Jillian” he would much rather be on the smarter end which was one of the reasons he dated Jillian in the first place. And once again, he doesn’t realize he’s in love, *someone else has to say it*. It really shows that he believes anyone who tells him he’s in love even when he has no cause or reason to. I’d really like to see a video or even an episode discussing this reoccurring problem that Brian gets himself into. Edit: holy crap I never wrote this much in school 😂😂
3:11 kinda realistic since animals do that like I seen pigeons do it can’t take no as a bloody answer when doing the mating dance or my dog who keeps trying to h%%% my other dog it’s natural with animals
22:46 it's been a whole year since I first saw this scene, and I STILL fail to understand how Quagmire managed to break into the Griffin's house, assault Brian, destroy the doors AND the house phone, and not be punished for his actions whatsoever. I'll tell you what I think might happen if Quagmire weren't so lucky: He would likely face charges of trespassing, burglary, assault, battery, and property damage. He might also be subject to fines, probation, community service, or even imprisonment. Peter might've even filed a restraining order against Quagmire if he heard about what he did to Brian. Not to mention, it could also cause him significant financial distress for a few reasons: 1) Quagmire might be subject to legal fines as punishment for his actions 2) Most insurance companies won't cover damages resulting from intentional acts, such as vandalism, arson, or, in this case, assault. Therefore, Quagmire could be held financially responsible for Brian's medical bills, replacement/repair costs for damaged property, and other related costs 3) On top of the fines, medical bills, and replacement costs, Quagmire might also be asked to pay compensation for the Griffin family Now that I've gotten the legal consequences out of the way, I will talk about some of consequences I think might've happened, and what I think Quagmire could've done instead of physically assaulting Brian: Obviously, Quagmire and Brian have both suffered physical injuries from this altercation, which might require medical attention. And aside from the obvious physical harm, Quagmire and Brian might also suffer emotional harm: Quagmire might feel guilty and regret his actions, while Brian could experience fear and trauma. This altercation could also affect Quagmire and Brian's relationships with each other, as well as their reputation and standing in the community. People might see Quagmire as someone who is violent and/or unstable, making it difficult for him to maintain positive relationships with others (I don't know about you guys, but I'm not comfortable interacting with people when I know they engage in or encourage violent behavior) Brian might also find it difficult to engage in positive interactions with Quagmire, making it difficult to resolve the conflict, as physical violence often escalates situations to dangerous levels. This altercation could also affect others who witness or hear about the incident. They might feel uncomfortable participating in community events, or allowing their children to play outside. Speaking of children, news about this incident could set a bad example for them, teaching them that it's normal and/or acceptable to engage in violence in order to resolve conflicts, leading to increased aggression and difficulty concentrating. Children may also attempt to mimic the violent behavior they observe. Additionally, other neighbors might take sides, leading to conflicts or arguments within Quahog. So instead of physically assaulting Brian, Quagmire could've considered having a calm and honest conversation with Brian, or involving a neutral 3rd party to mediate the conflict. But nope, he just HAD to become a violent criminal!
Family guy iconic stuff: Rupert, Stewie's time machine/return pad, Brian's laptop, a record that says "surfin'" as a nudge to Peter's love of Surfin Bird, DVD cover that has image of Patrick Swayze for the Roadhouse movie jokes
Here as soon as the notification appeared. Robot Wars can wait, unlike me for this video! Thanks for agreeing to send me that autographed sticker too, I have a feeling the whole time I'm at college next week I'll be constantly phoning my mum and asking her if anything has come through the letterbox.
Rupert definitely needs to join Clyde Frog lol, but yeah ive really been enjoying this new background, feels cozy 🙃 amazing video btw, really loved it 😁
The whole Jillian experience was one of the situations where I realize the writers never cared about pushing the characters/progressing. There was zero reason for the writers to break up Brian and Jillian. That woman should have been Brian’s soulmate in the show.
18:51 this is too perfect! Jillian is one of my favorite characters in the show. And Drew Barrymore is one of my favorite actresses of all time! I love this so much
As a GTA player, I thought CJ having 6 girlfriends in San Andreas was a lot, or Niko having 4/5 in IV, but Brian...my god...that's definitely more than 6.
Recommendation for Family Guy Stuff: Rupert If you ever do expand, it would genuinely be such a fan to creator thing to continue to grow your desk until stuff becomes difficult to spot and point it, and you could make an Easter egg hunt for hidden desk iconic cartoon items. A “Where’s Waldo” type game for commenters and fans, if you will.
I wish they’d give him another long term girlfriend for a season like with Jillian. It could be an interesting character arc for him to develop a genuine connection with someone and could be a truly emotional episode if they do break up in like a season finale. They could connect through their love with singing like Brian could star in a musical in one episode and they could not get along at first but develop a close bond. I think I’m beginning to ramble but it’s something I would really enjoy watching
I can’t stop thinking of an episode so ignore this First episode - Brian goes to audition for the new musical at the Quahog playhouse and Brian immediately falls for his co star who thinks he’s a pretentious douchebag. It could give a chance too with Stewie and Brian to have some good moments too as he learns to become more honest in his approach to women. They could fall in love on stage and over the season she could even be in episodes where it’s not a Brian story. Like it could be a Peter story but Brian’s new girlfriend is in the background on the couch or for a dinner date with Lois and Peter. It would be nice to see Brian form a real connection with someone. They could even have storylines where Stewie hates her and Brian reassures him of their relationship. Their relationship could even end with the musical idea that maybe she’s offered a chance on broadway and he doesn’t want to leave Rhode Island. It could be a beautiful arc for him and even if it doesn’t work out he could leave the relationship with a better understanding of relationships and dating. I’m sorry that this was a real ramble but I literally love family guy, ever since I was a kid so I guess I’m oddly passionate about this haha
33:06 "Amazing! One second of a strangers voice on a phone, and you've got full bollywood.". At least it wasn't like that Brickleberry episode where Steve saw the girl's face, but not her body, and didn't know she was obese until he got on a flight to go see her.
In Family Guy I think it's Jillian or Ida but outside of Family Guy I think it's Hayley Smith from American Dad. They have a lot in common, both love weed, both are liberal, neither are as religious as their family/friends, both have been in many relationships, and both fell in love with a blonde who isn't that smart.
Dogs generally live for 13 years, and Brian is 10 years old. Brian says he wants to find “the one” but I don’t think he or his loved ones want to talk about how, realistically, he’ll be dead soon. On top of that, it feels like every time Brian makes a change for the better (getting a job at Home Depot, trying to raise his son Dylan, finding love with Jillian and Rita) the family does something to put a stop to this. It’s obviously not what the show writers intended, they want to keep the status quo and focus more on jokes, but I’ve noticed in recent episodes, most of Brian’s only jokes are centered around him being a dog or doing dog-things I like the idea of Brian coming to terms with his best years being behind him and instead focusing on being a happy dog and engaging in short-term relationships. He can still be a douchbag though.

It's beautifully ironic that Jillian was smart enough to leave someone who didn't see her value.

Say what you want but people underestimate how earnest people can be.
Same I really love when he was the voice of reason
Nelson: HAHAA!
It makes no sense to make fun of him for dating a 50 year old woman when Brian is 56 in dog years
Plus, Peter and Lois aren't that much younger than that woman, so they have no right to make fun of her age. Lois especially.
Finally someone else said it!

He definitely loved Pearl genuinely.
A dog having sex wirh a woman. You people are sick

Really? I find him insufferably self righteous, deluded, pretentious, overbearing, hypocritical, morally judge mental while being morally bankrupt, he is the animated avatar of Seth McFarlane himself. The dress downs he got from his X’s, Stewie, and Quagmire are dead on.
@@mikewaterfield3599 When he started, he had depth. But by season 4, he became exactly as you described. I think that's why I hate him so much now
One reason I hated the quagmire brian feud was he mentions that he hits on Lois but Glen did that all the time as well. He has wanted to sleep with Lois so many times. And he even slept with bonnie when he told joe he was a virgin. He is the last person who should be calling Brian out for being a bad friend.
And quagmire is a disgusting scumbag anyways

@@filmcritic371 and he even says he'll see one of his kids again in 18 years. Like bro that's disgusting as hell. Has kidnapped a kid, has multiple women held hostage, and when they escape, he has trackers on them. He's slept with a body
And it's funny how quagmire calls Brian a bad friend, but he tried to sleep with meg despite peter telling him not too
Quagmire's point was that Brain hit on Lois even though Peter saved him from living on the streets and certain death and pays for his food yet he still tries to sleep with Lois. That's the problem Brain owes Peter his life Quagmire doesn't, Quagmire may be no saint as he says in his rant but he still has some standards when it comes to who he stabs in the back at least at that point in the show.
At least Quagmire doesn't fuck animals like every woman who ever slept with Brian.
Still a nitpick of mine how the show made jokes on Rita being old, despite being 50, just a few years older than Peter and Lois, and I think Brian in dog years, he’s he’s around her age. And with Seth now in his 50s, the gags doesn’t work even more for me.

34:43 Honestly if I had to choose who Brian should’ve been with permanently I would have him be with Ellie. (you know another talking dog)
I can easily come with an alternate ending to the episode she appeared in.
My version: The episode plays out exactly the same up until the 3rd act but my change would be just before Brian breeds with Ellie her owner angrily barges into the room disapproving of Ellie being with Brian (despite him winning the dog show) Ellie’s owner having high standards then grabs her and walks off with her and having Brian being held down preventing him to help, Brian calls out in desperation and sadness then Ellie overcome by her new found love for Brian bites her owner and growls resulting in her being disowned by her owner she runs off her then now ex-owner lets Brian go saying to him “Both of you rotten mongrels deserve each other”
Brian runs off to comfort an upset Ellie where he then suggests she live with him and the Griffin family, Ellie happily accepts and then the scene transitions to the Griffin house with Ellie now there being a member of the family.
And then a few seasons later you can have an episode where they get married and later have puppies.
Don’t worry I’m not holding on to hope that the writers might reintroduce Ellie because they have to reset everything back to normal at the end of each episode but this is my idea let me know what you all think.
i really wished that happened but sadly brian got cucked
Or maybe she's had the pups and is now free to live her life or decides pimp owner ain't sh1t so kk eaves to find herself and remeets Brian and they get together. A lot of gag about deadbeat parents can be thrown in for both of them so pretty on theme with FG's all characters suck charade.
Season 1 Brian: "I want the opportunity to raise my puppies" and wants a relationship.
Season 6 Brian after finding out he has a son: "I couldn't get out of there fast enough." Pretending to be rich to date a cashier.
Those puppies weren't his. The human son was.
When Goofy is a better father than you are...
The TV series Son ep was funny because I know film TV business people who either act like Brian. The episode has some funny insight on modern show biz stuff.
It doesn't speak very highly of the cashier that she was interested in him for his money.

Funny enough that even Peter points out the fact that he’s a dog when Brian marries Lois
It would have to be a talking dog or else it would still feel like bestiality..
He’s basically a human man in a dog’s body. This is cartoon logic 101.
Of course he likes the chase, he's a dog!
It makes you wonder why he doesn't just get into casual sex and stop tricking people who want a serious relationship.

For FG related items in the background by character, you could do:
•Peter - the Peterioa flag, a toy of the Peter-chopter or tank, a ban/bottle of Tom Peckett, or a record of Surfin' Bird.
•Lois - not sure really 😅
•Brain - The Speed of Love book, his collar, a dry martini dog toy, or a picture of his author portrait.
•Meg - a copy of her original birth certificate with MegaTron on it, her hat, her dairy, and
•Chris - an Evil Monkey plushie or figurine, a magazine cover of Chrisabelle, a small print of one of his artworks, or his fishtank but mini.
Brilliant suggestions, thanks so much 💛
Idk, I think Pearl was his true love, as brief as that was. I was rooting for Season 2 Brian to find love, but Brian in the recent years kind of deserves to be alone.
quagmire going on about how Brian flirts with Lois when he's just as guilty as him bro fucking tried to watch her use the bathroom
I personally think it's the old lady who got hit by a truck. They have so many things in common. Sadly, she died.
I think that had more closure compared to Jillian, which was his own fault but still has potential
Now that it’s been a full decade, I kind of wish they would’ve kept Vinny around. he’s a better dog than Brian in my opinion.
They should try a spin off again with the Vinnie and Jerome show. A black man with an Italian dog sounds like the sort of thing that you would think Seth MacFarlane would want to turn into a show. That would keep the main show from having to sacrifice any of the established core supporting characters.

His right hand
A little something to add to the background- you could add Rupert, I think that’s iconic enough. Amazing video as always
Honestly I wish family guy kept the heart in its comedy, like when Lois lets Brian down nicely, saying she values their friendship, I legit cry everytime because we see Lois does care about Brian, and Brian does realise he was wrong for wanting to act on these feelings (some additional words, I wanted to say having attraction to people is ok, but acting on it when they don’t feel the same and/or with someone else already is wrong)
Edit: Brian wallows and Peter swallows is still probably close to if not actually my favourite, it again shows Brian has a genuine heart, he knows that she genuinely has a hidden grace inside her and he helps her to get that out, the simulated life together just breaks me, seeing how he cries as she drifts away, I just couldn’t breathe 😅
I think that we can all relate to Brian in a lot of ways especially when it comes to finding true love. I believe that Jillian WAS his true love, its a shame that they will never be together, i really hope that he finds love soon

They love their continuity too much

i dont understand why quagmire thought he had the right to speak like that on brian when he himself has and does do worse and dated just as many girls has brian maybe even more. like when he calls brian a deadbeat father like he doesnt have 8 kids himself, he talks about how he's a bad friend to peter or whatever like quagmire doesnt have his share of bad moments with peter as well as him trying to sleep with meg, peters underage daughter and lois. etc etc i find it silly goose.
Add the drunken clam sign to your animated room.
God: what have you learn on earth, Lydia?
Lydia: i can confidently answer 99% trivia questions on Family Guy.
24:03 I always imagined that Quagmire's hatred for Brian has gotten so much worse that I believe he sees Brian as he sees himself but worse.
Imagine if both old Brian and Peter meet the new ones and they’re just absolutely horrified and disgusted at what they become
I am surprised you didn't have Rubert (Stewie's bear) sitting there.
The only girlfriends I liked with him were Pearl, Julian, Rita, and Ida
With Pearl, it mostly happened at the end of the episode, but he was honestly really sweet with her on her death bed.
Agreed with all of this!
*Family Guy video essays are the only thing keeping me going*
You could put Rupert on the shelf? That’s probably the most iconic family guy item, or maybe a beer can of the beer from the show. Love this video and have been looking forward to it for weeks now btw. Was truely one of your best vids yet!
It’s crazy that Jillian is still a fan favorite years and years later
31:09 He trying strike a cord and it’s probably A-Minorrrrrrrrr 🎶🎶🎶🎶
Don’t forget with Lois, when they did the brain swap he slept with her in Peter’s body. He took advantage so he could bang them.
Also, for family guy items for your background, you could add: Rupert teddy bear, a bottle of Pawtucket Pat, a mini toy version of the Peter-copter
... Wot?
24:32 didn’t “tiegs for two” come out after “and the there were fewer” and therefore Jillian dating quagmire does make sense in season 9
In another universe, I think Peter and Jillian are soulmates.
3:11 kinda realistic since animals do that like I seen pigeons do it can’t take no as a bloody answer when doing the mating dance or my dog who keeps trying to h%%% my other dog it’s natural with animals
Not sure if anyone mentioned it but you should add Rupert I feel like the bear is pretty iconic
4:50 I ALWAYS THOUGHT THOSE WERE CARTERS PUPPIES TOO😂. IT BEING TED TURNER IS WAY FUNNIER NOW THAT IM OLD ENOUGH TO GET IT
I think a great souvenir to add to your new background from family guy would be Rupert! you could have him sit next to the plushie on the top shelf!
“And he’s got a big Eggo!”
Why is Jillian is so underrated?😂
For the family guy thing to add for the background I believe that adding Rupert near Clyde frog would be neat
Not to mention, it could also cause him significant financial distress for a few reasons:
1) Quagmire might be subject to legal fines as punishment for his actions
2) Most insurance companies won't cover damages resulting from intentional acts, such as vandalism, arson, or, in this case, assault. Therefore, Quagmire could be held financially responsible for Brian's medical bills, replacement/repair costs for damaged property, and other related costs
3) On top of the fines, medical bills, and replacement costs, Quagmire might also be asked to pay compensation for the Griffin family
Now that I've gotten the legal consequences out of the way, I will talk about some of consequences I think might've happened, and what I think Quagmire could've done instead of physically assaulting Brian:
Obviously, Quagmire and Brian have both suffered physical injuries from this altercation, which might require medical attention.
Great job on this!
Hey Jack, always love seeing your comments 💛
Thank you again for buying our book, and your lovely words, it really meant alot to us
Been excited for this one ! ❤️
Thanks for helping me make it through my work day!
"messed up" is not enough to define it.
Honestly, the episode with him and Ellie has got to be one of my favorites
Rupert definitely needs to join Clyde Frog lol, but yeah ive really been enjoying this new background, feels cozy 🙃 amazing video btw, really loved it 😁
The whole Jillian experience was one of the situations where I realize the writers never cared about pushing the characters/progressing. There was zero reason for the writers to break up Brian and Jillian. That woman should have been Brian’s soulmate in the show.
family guy's lost so much heart since the original writers moved on
YEAHH THANK YOU LYDIA!!!! For all your hours of effort poured into this channel, let alone this 50 min video ❤
I think Bryan soulmate is Gillian. What Bryan ruined it?Because he's an absolute goosebump
Recommendation for Family Guy Stuff: Rupert
If you ever do expand, it would genuinely be such a fan to creator thing to continue to grow your desk until stuff becomes difficult to spot and point it, and you could make an Easter egg hunt for hidden desk iconic cartoon items.
I can’t stop thinking of an episode so ignore this
First episode - Brian goes to audition for the new musical at the Quahog playhouse and Brian immediately falls for his co star who thinks he’s a pretentious douchebag.
33:06
"Amazing!
It’s obviously not what the show writers intended, they want to keep the status quo and focus more on jokes, but I’ve noticed in recent episodes, most of Brian’s only jokes are centered around him being a dog or doing dog-things
I like the idea of Brian coming to terms with his best years being behind him and instead focusing on being a happy dog and engaging in short-term relationships. He can still be a douchbag though.
I have an idea you can put in your cartoon studio. you can add a window somewhere and outside the window is the petercopter or one of Peter's inventions
I'm obsessed with how Lydia's character changes art style with every show she covers
The lesson of this video: Family Guy shouldn't have come back after season 3.
No
3:45 Yeah, Quagmire calling him out on it loses its meaning when he's also been trying to get with Lois a couple of times himself.
Also Lydia i really like your new office scene but i will miss seeing you inside of the actual houses because that was so cool it was like you they’re but the office is pretty cool
5:48 golden clam, butt scratcher, Peter beer?,ruppert: stewie bear would be cool
