8/31/2019 East Shoreham/Rocky Point 3-car Crash

Car accident in Rocky Point, Friday August 30, 2019.
Just before midnight, authorities were notified of a car crash on Rt-25a just west of Tesla Street. The SCPD 7th Pct. and Rocky Point Fire Dept. responded. There were a number of injuries from the reportedly head-on collision so the Sound Beach Fire Dept. and Wading River Fire Dept were requested to the scene on mutual aid. One person was considered in critical condition (spi), after they were cut from their vehicle by firefighter's using the "Jaws Of Life". That person was transported to Stony Brook. The other injured parties were taken to local hospitals. A dog was also injured and taken to an emergency veterinarian.
