I just wanna say thank you for your tips on doing 10 minute walks a couple times a day. Its really increased my fitness level with not that much effort
Let's go!!
I agree that hi intensity lends towards more cravings, especially early on in my journey. Over time it seems like the tendency is less. So many variables I couldn't say one thing that may have changed that.
Thank you for describing things so well that some of us who easily get overwhelmed by all the fancy words and information, dont feel lost, I can keep up and follow along. You are my absolute favorite for this. Everything described is simple and to the point.

Great Advice. Thank you for all of the explanation
Love your channel! Excellent/clear explainations! Question: I lift weights upper body 3x week along with 10,000 steps daily (steps mixed terraine/hills). Is it correct to walk right after weight session? I know importances of daily steps and find mornings best for both weights and steps. Thoughts? (thank you)
Hello, I’m watching all of your videos to learn more. They are awesome, thank you. I have a question I hope you can help me with, I have a restriction about lifting weight for the next 6 months due to a hysterectomy and I can only lift 10 lbs. Is there any way to gain muscle mass. My body is jiggle like jello plus I have like 16 lbs overweight. Because I have not worked out for the last year. I would really appreciate any recommendations
Hi Eric, can you do a video about deadlifts? I want to know how much weight to start with and the proper way to execute the move. Is it a total body workout?
Hi Eric. I usually do 1 hr of weight training on lower body like deadlifts for hypertrophy and 1.5 hrs of running roughly 6 miles with a heart rate of 160. I find that I get very hungry the following day in the morning. Should I just walk afterward? My appetite skyrocketed the next morning all the time.
Would you recommend running with upper body day?
you are a babe, kudos, something is working
Woww thank you so much for this information. I try to do calorie defisit before while doing high intesity cardio (Long distance jogging as long and as fast as possible every 2 day with 1 day rest) and i failed (for calorie defisit) because my food craving become so high. I also constantly starving and eat a lot more food than before.
question please ! does it matter if you eat your dinner (assuming high protein) before or after your strength-training? and or cardio?
The better question is should I be pumping iron and doing cardio at the same time.
*I think you meant subtract your age from 220 😊
I have been doing 20 min of HITT, circuit style, after a 30 min strength training session. So, is that ok? Does that qualify as high intensity? Thank you for all of your videos. I love your style of communication.
That is high intensity yes :)
Understand. Thank you for responding. I will replace it with yoga😉
Can you explain what people mean by skinny fat I hear it saying people only doing cardio will be fat skinny? Or skinny fat?
I just have a random question, when in a calorie deficit, should I simply just target my daily calorie intake goal every day or should I intake more on days when I have a full gym workout on (~300 calories burned or so usually)?
I've doing really well so far going about a week and a half on a deficit, I just want to make sure I am giving my body enough fuel to recover properly.
Thanks for the tips! They have been SUPER helpful!
I know Im not The one you are asking but when you do your calorie calculation you are often asked how active you are, how often you train etc so your training is already taken into account in the result of your daily calorie intake. Hope it helps
I love jumping rope to some music after my workouts sometimes (on upper body days). Does this mean i can't do that anymore? I really love jumping rope, so will it still lead to excess cortisol??
Me too! Don't want to give up jump rope, best cardio I have ever done. If I stop that would hate it. So I am jumping on my rest days, heart rate goes to maximum after 20 min of jumping, so that would be classed as HIIT. Hoping that's ok being on a rest day!
That might stress out your body. Maybe you could do something low impact like walking? Jumping rope is quite high impact.
How much time can you lift weights after you go for a run. 2-3 hours?
Is 10 minutes of stairmaster on level 5 considered high intensity
Does your heart rate get elevated?
Cardio causes me so much stress that i cannot sleep well. Even when doing in the morning. But i do HIIT once a week when i'm not lifting weights that day
