Whoah, just as I opened this Lizard Pose video in the garden a lizard ran across my yoga mat! I live in the Scottish Highlands so this is not a usual occurrence!

Root day 17. April 2023. I love lizard pose. Great to focus on the basics. I used blocks to get down low. Aiming to get elbows on the ground.

April Day 16! I’ve almost been doing yoga for 4 months now and I can really feel how far I’ve come 😊 Excited to continue on and see where I’ll be at the end of the year!
ROOT 🌳 | April 17, 2023 | Part 2 - This was great to come back to at the end of the day after being on my feet lots. Great stretch, great little reset! 🙏
Day 48 of the current run (part 1!) - this was in fact the first thing I've done today. Getting palms to the ground comes very naturally, forearms a bit less so - I came in and out of that part of it. Also did knee lifted for about half of it, whether my arms or hands were what was on the ground. Hips feel wild.
Root day seventeen - part two.
This was my first time doing any sort of yoga away from home, and I'll be honest, it felt a little weird. But I did it!

Hey! I am brand new to yoga. I have hip bursitis and my personal trainer gave me some stretches to do and I wasn't sure how to do the lizard pose and that's how I found your video! I love your direction and step by step walk through. You're helping me heal!
Lizard pose is one of my favourites :). Combined this with some morning stretches from another channel.

I just realized this was one year ago, but any how, how are you doing? Our dog's toe nail got torn, and it was operated yesterday, she also needs strerilazation, she is having fake precnancy issues. I was feeling blue, not to be able to go for a long walk with her, but I realized I can do yoga while she is resting. Hope you are ok 💚🙏

Adrianne I love your videos! I finished the 30 days of yoga and haven't stopped doing it since. I would really love to see a foundations of yoga with goddess pose and variations of it, with eagle arms or a shoulder stretch and forward fold for example. I've tried it at home but nothing beats real instruction!
Loved this pose! Ugh, so good. I would really like to request a full meditative class! 20 minutes, 30, even a full hour maybe of just guided meditation. That's something that I'd really love to see!

I'm in college working towards a fitness specialist degree, and I just instructed a routine using a great deal of the pointers you gave in this instructional video: I want to thank you because I aced my yoga final! And, judging by my fellow yoga classmates expressions, they got some new pointers from your instructions as well. FYI, I watched several instructional videos for Lizard pose, I found yours to be the most thorough and least intimidating. Thanks again, and keep up the excellent posting :-)

I had decided to give yoga another try recently to help calm my mind & help bring more awareness to myself, & also for the physical benefits :). Great video, thanks! My hips are tight so when I practice Lizard my front knee tends to splay out, just a little. Am I better off keeping it tight to the midline with support or just letting it splay?
Did this for the first time today. My hamstrings were crying!
Enjoyed this today, really "juicy" as Adriene likes to say. I probably couldn't have acheived much flexibility in this back in January but having done daily yoga for 3 months now I not only put my forearms down but also raised my back knee. Both sides! I think this pose will be helpful in working towards hanuman splits. Am I right?
