No way they will ever bring these back. Through the MGUs the cars today are exceeding the performance levels of the cars back then by far. Imagine a V12 with an MGU, you'd easily reach 400km/h which is super fucking unsafe, imagine crashing at that speed, that'd be instantly fatal no matter the protection you install in an F1 cockpit.

They will never return, I was in Canada in 2016, the cars aren’t quiet now, they are so loud I wish I had brought ear plugs, with every car that passes, the ground shook and I could barely hear the person next to me, it was a great sound. Even though it might not be as loud as the v10 (I’ve never seen it in person) this sound is good enough for me

I love the Alonso's starts. I love how he drive. How he almost does not do errors. How he overdrives ALL the cars he drove. How he win all of his team mates on almost every race. Arrogant say few. What? He never put the fault on the team, but always said "that's racing". He inspired young drivers. He's not the funniest, or the kindiest, but for me, he'll always the best driver!

Eduardo Toledo his decision was correct at the time he made..later it turned out bad..!
When JB made a decision to stay at Honda after 2008..he didnt plan or anticipate 2009 turnaround.

    • @Cloney1337
      @Cloney1337 7 лет назад +96

No, some decisions were really stupid: Leaving McLaren first time: Clearly they had a championchip car 2007 and renault did not. He left like a spoiled child, dumping on McLaren-Mercedes for not giving him Nr. 1 priority and became the key for the 100Million $ Penalty and loss of all constructors points. In 2008, the only win he got was the fake win by Renault, while McLaren won the drivers championship. Really a dump move just out of spoiled feelings.
The move to Ferrari is understandable, the loss of 2010 and 2012 is not.
The move to McLaren-Honda was really stupid, everyone said that they will not be on pace, that they have extreme hard times to catch the one year lead in experience by the other teams and guess what happend: 3 years of McLaren-Honda, 3 years of Alonso fighting Sauber. Well, at least he make 30 Million a year now.
And the worst part is, he cant go to better teams, because he leaves scorched earth where he goes: Mercedes? Still hate him for 2007 (they payed the full fine for Mclaren back then). Ferrari? Disliked his attitude towards Ferrari and give him fault for 2010 and 2012. RB? Yeah, they only take their own talents.

It's Webber he started on the front row and had a very bad start.

The way he slowed for that corner early and let the others take each other out to leave the path free.
    Like a sixth sense...

    Oh the sounds!
Why can’t Formula 1 bring back the glorious sounding V10’s?? Make them hybrids if you want to keep costs down, but please give us these sounds back.
It’s like listening to a piece by Mozart it’s that magnificent.

Listen to this engine, man. It's the last 6-gear car (alongside Minardi in 2005) to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship, and this one actually won the World Title

NtsParadize I know, but Renault already had the 6-gear gearbox. Minardi used it the following season, as did Renault

Formula 1 will probably never have an F1 chassis like that again. Love watching how he was able to chuck that thing into a corner like it was a hot hatch, regardless of the speed

I'm still amazed as fuck how they don't crash into each other at every damn corner. The car alone by itself is super hard to handle, but they also need to watch out for each other, switch gears, communicate with the team, see where to break etc. So many things going on at once. Maybe this is ignorant of me, but it seems harder than flying a plane. I guess learning to fly is really hard, but when you've mastered it it's something routine. While driving an F1 car seems like driving on a minefield.
