A fine testimonial from Bruce, thanks. For technical enthusiasts, it's possible to find out more about these echo chambers of Italian origin, configured especially for Hank by VOX. Search for "The Shadows - The Secrets of Echo".
The Meazzi was a tape echo and the Binson Hank later used as a drum echo. Watkins made a tape echo called the copycat which was a great machine made into the 1970's. The Meazzi had a 'halo' effect it sounded great.
I've still got a Watkins Copicat Mk111, tucked away in a cupboard somewhere. Not needed anymore with all the digital delays available. (If anyone's got a Mk 1 there worth about £1.200 today)
Love listening to Bruce, I want to hear more on the sound Bruce created.

😊 Hank’s Meazzi (SEP) and Vox echo is à Drum echo !
Wrong mate. The 3 Meazzi echoes he used were all drum/wheel designs.
