*OMG, INA IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!* Dude, this isn't just a Hololive fan film project anymore, it has transcended to be some of the best short films I've seen on this platform!
Couple things I noticed on Ame's cork board. 2:48 A newspaper article titled "Dead are missing!!!" which could be a reference to Rushia or Ollie. 2:58 Sticky note marking October 14th of 2007 as the day that Ame found gura. The 07 is kinda squished in there which made me doubt it at first, but there are other sticky notes a bit above it dated September 10th and 12th 2006. So it would seem that this series is set in the 2000's.
Rushia, Ollie and Calli I belive, there is a "missing poster" with a picture of Olivia(Ollie), my personal theory is Calli killed *Olivia* and rushia stole her body and turned her into a zombie.
It almost feels like a crime having this made entirely for free viewing on RUclips. This animation deserves to be funded and supported immensely, I loved every second of it.

This is my theory. Hoshinova was worshipped by the people of Atlantis, Mumei was the king's right hand advisor. Mumei and Hoshinova shared their knowledge and opinions to improve the civilization. As Atlantis grow, Hoshinova was becoming weaker, and weaker. In that time Cthulhu appeared to devour everything. In order to protect the people Hoshinova engulf Atlantis. And faught Cthulhu alone, sadly due to her weakened state she couldn't defeat it. As the chaos rises Gura manages to survive and on that night. This was absolutely incredible. While I do not have the knowledge the truly appreciate the amount of effort that must have went into this I at least understand that this kind of superlative quality is something absurd to attain, especially for a fanwork. You did a wonderful job leaning into the animations strengths, the expressions, music and the animation itself doing a wonderful job of conveying emotion and intent in the absence of speech, this was helped along by the environmental storytelling as well, if one is willing to pause a fair bit then someone can find a detail rich environment with a lot of care put into it, dense with references, call backs and bits of information to be gleaned about the girls and how they fit in this world. The opening sequence was spectacular. Within the fandom there has been plenty of conceptions of how Atlantis may have fallen, how, why and when and so on but this is probably one of the most visceral renditions of it I have seen. Ame's scene with the board was also brilliantly done, it conveyed the idea and concept wonderfully while also being detail rich for those who wanted to explore it, but not so much so as to overwhelm and obscure from a more casual viewing. The little references scattered throughout where very cute. The scene of Ame walking into the bathroom did a great job of capturing proper horror vibes in both the music and how the visual information and cues were displayed so that worked wonderfully, the shot of Gura tearing up the board was iconic. Gura puzzling over the picture of Ame and Ina just before Ina turns up was both a good visual in terms of pre informing the reader that Ina and Ame already know each other so helping to contextualise Ina turning up while also expanding on the two's background in this animated series a little, but also the fact Gura fixates on her a little suggests that either Gura was naturally curious about it, or perhaps was making the link between the horror that destroyed Atlantis and Ina, if on a subconscious level if not fully aware of it. GREAT job on the animation! Kudos to everyone involved! It's always hard to believe how talented and skillful Hololive fans can get. This was absurdly high quality!
I've never seen a character designed in an artstyle so perfectly until I saw Ina, you guys deserve way more subs because the quality of these animations make me want to watch them in a big screen with popcorn.
the glints of blue in gura's eyes when there's just the right amount of face shadow is really cool. 2:48 "but that's forbidden love!" and the sound design is pretty stellar too. on my second watch i heard the picture frame fall on the floor after amé slammed the door, i was wondering how it got there and it was at that moment i realized how good the sound is. especially at 3:05. I mean that particular instance may have more to do with the musical score, but yeah.
Both the designs and animation are so full of character and life, even the backgrounds are just brimming with interesting detail, and it's amazing to see how well you folks can weave a narrative together without any dialogue... This is really a superb project. I can't wait to see more installments!
First of all, love the animation and storytelling without the use of words, you get to feel every moment of the story taking place and that makes it much more approachable! Second, thank you for making me and my takodachi heart squeal with joy! I am flabbergasted and looking forward to more exciting animations and adventures with the growing cast!
Woah, this was another phenomenal animation! Lots of cool references on that pin board to analyze and dissect! It's also interesting to see that Atlantis seems to have fallen because of the Ancient Ones. Perhaps Gura's encounter with that entity caused her feral nature to let loose? And that ending... What a cliffhanger to end on lmao.
3:43 I like this little homage to Alien but with Jaws music. And subtle moment of revelation, when the tail flip Ame's hair. Really good direction and execution, even in small details like this.
Wow this was fantastic, I was sucked into the whole animation despite there being 0 voices, well despite the Goob's growls lol. Those 6 minutes flew by so quickly, I really can't wait to see what else you have in store.
I love so much your work! the last frame could be an amazing wallpaper. It's just incredible actually how much beautiful is every scene on screen. Congratst!! ✨🤍✨
god damn i didnt think azathoth ruined atlantis like that, and just because he awoke very little... for the uninitiated, ina is a priestess of the ancient ones, who are quite likely to be the Outer Gods of Eldritch lore, among them is a god known as Azathoth who created all of existence, time, space, law, reality, life, death, everything, even the other outer gods, were all his creation, but he created all of them in his sleep. It is said that if Azathoth was to ever awaken everything would cease to exist, just like a bad dream. the other Outer Gods have gone through extraordinary lengths since the dawn of creation to ensure that their revered elder never awakens, and it is theorized that ina is one of those ways to keep him asleep, by ensuring that if Azathoth's eternal slumber is ever disturbed, ina gifted with the entire combined power of the other outer gods would be able to pacify him. which in a sense makes ina the most powerful being in existence, for if she really wanted... she could end the world just by waking her charge up. for anyone who wants an idea of what that looks like watch *_"Holomyth vs Ina"_* on YT.
2:48, is that Hitomi Shizuki! Madoka Magica jumpscare was not expected. love all of the little details you guys put in. Also Inas model and everything is absolutely gorgeous!
back when I found out what the original idea behind holomyth characters was thought it was very inspiring, there'd be so many stories for games and videos that could be made featuring a detective discovering four mythical creatures that have taken human form
I love the style of the models and the way the animation is handled, it creates such a dreamlike feeling which I absolutely adore, can't wait to see the final version!
The camera work in this series make the scenes so much more interesting to watch, like the fish shop scene in ep 1 and Ame looking for Gura in the bathroom in this ep. Fantastic stuff. Also, WAH.
WARNING! This is all from what little I can infer and my own biases and opinions. Don't take any of this seriously, please. The story implications of this chapter fascinate me. First, I noticed that a fairly large amount of Atlanteans managed to escape The Drowning City but when it cuts to what seems to be the evacuation point, a human lighthouse, the shore is littered with corpses. Except for Gura, which in of itself is a interesting point I'll get to later. With how close so many of them had gotten it seems to me that the Entity deliberately left no survivors but let her escape unscathed. Especially with the final shot of The Eye rising out of the water and looking directly at her. If this theory is correct I can't wait to see what for. Second, Gura's 'impossible' survival. Based on the previous evidence it is more likely than not that if The Eye wanted to it would have killed her as well. To me whatever this entity is, (And I'm betting it's the Ancient Ones.) It spared Gura for a reason that will come to light later in the series. Personally I believe The Eye may have 'infected' (for lack of a better word) Gura in a subtle way, as a type of pawn to use later or due to Gura having some ability or importance to The Eye. This actually leads into another little headcanon I have where I believe Atlanteans would have revered the Ancient Ones as their primary faith. So what if Gura was one of the most devout before the city drowned? that might be enough to sway The Eye into sparing her. Not to mention that when she wakes up her eyes are the same shade of as The Eye, future helping my theory. Third, miss Ina'nis. Truth be told their is not enough of anything to really theorize or get too in depth about, but just her presence is enough for me to have some ideas. mainly two and a bonus one that's mostly for my own headcanon. 1. If the Ina'nis shown here has NOT found the book yet, this could tie in to my second theory, where through Gura they guide Ina to the book. It will also be very interesting to see how Ina'nis behaves around her, because if this Ina has NOT found the book then finding out fish-people/mermaids are real would be reality-shattering. 2. If Ina'nis HAS found the book at this point will Gura be able to sense that? She would be intimately familiar with the feeling that power gives off due to everything so he will she react? Will she be driven by anger or fear? Or will she be able to push it down or aside? Also if Ina'nis has found the book, and it WAS the Ancient Ones who drowned Atlantis, would Ina know about it? If she does know, Did they tell her about the only living survivor? 3. If my Ancient Deities theory is correct in this series, (Which I highly doubt.) Could they, sorta bond over it? Or at the very least understand each other better through it? The High Priestess and The Last Atlantean is an anime I would watch. While I have everyone's attention, I have to gush about the design choice for Gura in this series. It is absolutely gorgeous and fits so perfectly. When it comes to myth the human woman look fits everyone BUT Gura. Ame is a human. not much to elaborate on there. Ina'nis is also a human, just touched by The Ancient Ones but still human so it's a bit shaky but still holds up. Kiara is a Phoenix in human form, which also holds up fairly well, I just think she should've had a permanent tan due to the fire. Calliope is the Grim Reaper also in human form fine as is but I think she should've been a bit more pale. But anyway, when it comes to Gura she is a Deep Sea creature , so the blue tinted gray skin is perfect, the large eyes to absorb more light in the darkness and the slitted pupils focus low light like a cat's. The black lips and gums are also a great touch due to the the saltwater environment she would had lived in. Sharp serrated shark teeth is self explanitory. All in all she looks alien and strange, exactly like how we describe deep sea fish.
As a Takodachi, words cannot express my happiness, seeing Ina being introduced as a character in this amazing series
WAH

We Are Happy about this

There is so much to love about this studio's work! There is so much love and passionate and effort on full display!
This truly has been my main inspiration to actually start telling my stories through 3D modeling and settings, this channel only needs a small team to make such amazing projects in a short amount of time, if you guys can do it so can i!
Incredible! There were some really stunning shots in this. The scenes of the storm, Gura washing up on shore, and her tearing up the map made me audibly gasp at how nice it looked. You've got a really good thing going here. I thoroughly enjoyed this and I'm excited for what's to come!
i love the way how ending music becomes upbeat and positive after Ina's arrival. Good vibes.
Goodness me, I was _so_ happy with your other work and I've watched it over and over but now it's a _series_ with a _story_ and _INA?!?!_
Bless you CLS, you're a wonderful part of this community and we treasure you
Love the piano slamming with the bump at around 3 mins in
I feel like your series of animations is pure art. The visual direction, the way you manage to tell a story without dialogue, it’s all so perfect, I’m always just so stoked to see more. Ultimately it’s just wildly compelling. Thank you for creating and sharing your creations.
The moment I realised who'd be introduced in this episode, my heart was made instantly full.
You guys are making some truly amazing stuff at a quality I've rarely ever seen from fan projects!
The most perfect way of introducing Ina! Amazing series so far too!
OMG her holding the little Bloop plush I can't.
The voice work you did with Gura is so good, perfect level for how non-vocal your movies are.
That Ina is ADORABLE.
This work deserves so much more attention! I can tell so much effort goes into every aspect of it
02:35: the lighting temperature contrast and detail for actual windows
03:34: the lighting & volume sense
05:00: the way the frame was framed for focus in movement
See, Ame was the one who found the Advent Girls while on vacation. Spot the Bijou 5:35
Gura sleeping in a bathtub full of water is a weirdly cute detail.
Damn, the shear amount of talent poured into this is astonishing.
the glints of blue in gura's eyes when there's just the right amount of face shadow is really cool.
2:48 "but that's forbidden love!"
and the sound design is pretty stellar too. on my second watch i heard the picture frame fall on the floor after amé slammed the door, i was wondering how it got there and it was at that moment i realized how good the sound is. especially at 3:05.
This should blow up. The amount of quality you guys spent on these animations are beyond impressive. You earned a new fan, do hope to see more!❤
You deserve praise. Good style, Good story telling, Good art direction.
WAH
I can't believe Biboo was already here 5:38
I love stop-motion shows, so i can't wait to see what art I'm gonna see
I can only dream of a 2 hour movie like this with voice acting from the ladies themselves.
this studio is gonna hit it big one of these days, only a matter of time. ☝️
1:32 gura stranding
3:24 DETECTIVE. ARRIVING. ON THE SCENE.
Cant wait for more of the series!
man now I cant wait for the weekend just to see this !!
Ina has joined the “Crash Landing Studios” cinematic universe!
AHHH ITS SO GOOOD 😭😭 The team did amazing! I love the animation so much, the facial expressions were done so well!
I don’t even watch this as holo fan, I just think it’s really amazing artwork and storytelling. It’s genuinely gorgeous.
Wow this was fantastic, I was sucked into the whole animation despite there being 0 voices, well despite the Goob's growls lol. Those 6 minutes flew by so quickly, I really can't wait to see what else you have in store.
The wordless storytelling here is great, also, I love Ina's model and the way possessed Gura moves
Another AMAZING animation! That beach scene feels so ominous. It's a really good foreshadowing of Ina's arrival. I can't wait so see what comes next!
I love so much your work! the last frame could be an amazing wallpaper. It's just incredible actually how much beautiful is every scene on screen. Congratst!! ✨🤍✨
I am praying for Ina to not be the villain of the story for once.
2:47 Olivia?
That slo-mo shot of Gura tearing at the board with the red strings streaming through her fingers was awesome! Such great work.
god damn i didnt think azathoth ruined atlantis like that, and just because he awoke very little... for the uninitiated, ina is a priestess of the ancient ones, who are quite likely to be the Outer Gods of Eldritch lore, among them is a god known as Azathoth who created all of existence, time, space, law, reality, life, death, everything, even the other outer gods, were all his creation, but he created all of them in his sleep.
The animation is like LAIKA, it’s amazing
back when I found out what the original idea behind holomyth characters was thought it was very inspiring, there'd be so many stories for games and videos that could be made featuring a detective discovering four mythical creatures that have taken human form
I love the style of the models and the way the animation is handled, it creates such a dreamlike feeling which I absolutely adore, can't wait to see the final version!
4:17 I was so giddy I damn near clapped, that shot was so well done
can't wait for it!
The camera work in this series make the scenes so much more interesting to watch, like the fish shop scene in ep 1 and Ame looking for Gura in the bathroom in this ep. Fantastic stuff. Also, WAH.
This is legit one of the most beautiful animations I have ever seen.
AWESOME CHAPTER!!!
You guys did amazing!!!
Do check out their q&a and behind the scene guys!!
All in all she looks alien and strange, exactly like how we describe deep sea fish.
thank you so much for do somethig this amazing, in every moment you can know what their feeling without any simple word
Goddamn the destruction of Atlantis as the start was truly stunning, awesome work.
