Thank you so much for this video. It s awesome! Now I understand very clear. No audio needed. Just watched step by step. ( perfect for this deaf lady) 🤗😉
I’m glad you have the pineapple paper because I don’t think I would want to attempt this block without it. I’m sure it is much more accurate this way. Thanks a bunch!
Foundation paper piecing has always baffled me. This video is very helpful and your foundation paper packets are brilliant! I bought the log cabin pkg and will attempt a block now!
thank you so much for this video, i can't tell you how helpful it was to understand the fpp process, and then to have it done by a fellow leftie was pure magic. it made it so easy for me to process. I can't tell you how many other videos I've watched and was still so confused. After seeing this, I think I got it!!! thank you again!!!!!!
I have never done this and am so excited to give this a try, and I am so glad I joined last month and received this box....always love trying something new.....
I would love to do that in a bigger block. I got mine in the last gift box and I can’t wait to try it. They say that once you try paper piecing you want to do it all the time!!!
This is a new to me project, I have stayed far away from paper piecing...I will try it, but it might be easier with the pineapple ruler.....I think it was strange that the demo was done by a left handed person, wish me luck!!
I'm working on a king sized pineapple quilt, only 19 more blocks to make. I'm doing mine in 30s reproductions. Next will be the paper pieced log cabin.
@@FatQuarterShopTX any chance you all would put together just an intro table runner kit with this? Like just enough papers and a jelly roll or half jelly roll to try it to see if we like it? maybe something seasonal like christmas or valentines day or 4th of july?
Yes, you do tear the paper away. If you use a stitch length of 1.0 to 1.5 it perforates the paper making it easier to tear away. I also iron my blocks on both sides before removing the paper and after.
I will try the paper when I get this months box but I already like the Creative Grids Pineapple rulers, FQS sells both sizes. But if you don't get your center square perfect the whole block is off even with the ruler because you measure out from that center square. With the paper I can see how the whole block comes out perfect. I'll decide what I think AFTER I try it
The lady has very beautiful hands, but for how long? She didn’t close her blade on the rotary cover! Scared me every time she swooshed her hand to the side. Yikes!

Beautiful hands! I am grateful to have a tutorial by a “lefty”! Thanks so much for this great video.

Thank you for showing the whole process instead of saying repeat till finished!
This was my first box - and I’ve never paper pieced. Thank you for the video, it makes more sense now!
Great video! The lady who does the demo has the most beautiful hands I've ever seen. Without doubt!
Thank you for showing how to do this. I have not done paper piecing before so this was very helpful for me!
The larger ADD A QUARTER ruler makes it easier than my old skinny one! Nice addition to the SEW SAMPLER BOX,
Love ‘no audio’ videos... very helpful, I’ve never done paper piecing and this was my first Sew Sampler Box 😍
Thank you for the LEFT-HANDED tutorial!!! 😉🥰
I have never done this and am so excited to give this a try, and I am so glad I joined last month and received this box....always love trying something new.....
I just have to say I just finished making one of the blocks and I loved it......I am hooked
I would love to do that in a bigger block. I got mine in the last gift box and I can’t wait to try it. They say that once you try paper piecing you want to do it all the time!!!
Thank you so much for the tutorial.
Just ordered my paper, can’t wait!😊
where?? did you find it?? Thank you
That was so helpful. Thank you.😀
Love this pattern!!!!!
I can’t wait to make these!!!
Very helpful ❤❤❤
Loved this!😍

Thank you very much. I can do that!
This is great! Thanks
I bought the pineapple ruler and my blocks STILL come out wonky. I'm hoping this works.
how wide are the cloth strips, is the paper pattern sized so you can just use a jelly roll or other precuts?
Hi Christine, the ideal width is 2.5", which works perfect with a Jelly Roll!

Gotta say, nice hands ❤️
Do you tear away the paper at the end? If so, is it hard to tear away with all those seams? Is it possible to tear so hard that you ruin the seam?
Yes, you do tear the paper away. If you use a stitch length of 1.0 to 1.5 it perforates the paper making it easier to tear away. I also iron my blocks on both sides before removing the paper and after.
I have seen tutorials where you sew next to the papers edge and not through the paper so you can reuse the paper again and again.
Mary Ann, I tried it using a 1.5 stitch length -- paper was NOT easy to tear away. A 1.0 was the easiest.
Susan Shaffer - I have seen that too with freezer paper. Sugaridoo has a tutorial
This paper is thin enough that a shorter stitch length will tear easily without hurting the stitchws
I love this pattern, but this piecing looks hard
please enter me in the Nashville pattern giftaway the patterns are any 4 of the Brenda Gervais thankyou diane sirum
the presenter is left-handed?
She is indeed!
That's just the hard way to make that block, why make it more complicated.
Paper piecing is a more accurate way to make the block. It satisfies the perfectionists. As my grandmother would say, “Perfect is Good Enough!”
This i believe will help me
